  • Getting in a good start on the A-6, cockpit is done, kit decals are very basic, so Am would be a great upgrade. Landing gear legs are built up and are quite busy with many parts. Unfortunately there is a small misalignment with the moulding of the fuselage halves which I point out.

    Thanks for the build video.
Was wondering about the B/N side of intrusment panel, no hood it looks like. They were removable, but we used to install now and again.

Great build so far. This was one of five planes my father was the Chief Safety Inspector for. He’d be impressed.

Great start, looking forward to seeing more! Such a shame that Trumpter did the Trumpeter thing and out of the box this isn't an A at all, more of an early E version.

Like anything Navy the A's were upgraded to Early E's The TRAM turrets weren't installed till late war on the E's. And the fuselage Air brakes were bolted closed by then.

That's right I was a marine plane captain with VMA-AW-533 from mid 79 to fall of 82, the fuselage speedbrakes were bolted shut and faired over, no laser turrenant on nose was installed while was the squadron.
