I love the maxima I got a Stillen exhaust & removed the resonator & it sounds beautiful 😌💙 i beat the new civic si & the accord 2.0t. I just need sticky tires so my car gets better traction because it spins out when I’m 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear ⚙️
You could’ve bought an Altima SR 2.0 VC Turbo for about 10k less and still beat those cars stock. The Altima is faster, lighter, and gets better torque and MPG in the process. Probably why the Maxima will meet is grave soon an become and EV. The interior space is larger and so is the trunk too. The Maxima really doesn’t make sense. It’s a car in its own category. Same reason why the Avalon is dead too.
@@UnenthusedEnthusiast Actually the Altima really shouldn't make any sense they should just put that engine in a higher trim level Sentra, switch the v6 from the maxima into the altima and put a v8 into the maxima and switch the drive train to awd or rwd.
Just got this same model about a month ago. Same color and everything. I traded in a 2017 Chrysler 300 for it. At first I missed the Chrysler as it stands our more but driving this makes the 300 feel like a dump truck. This thing hugs the road like no car I've ever owned and on interstate I actually have to be careful because I catch myself doing 85 when it feels like 60. Wish I could have kept them both but you can only drive one at a time! Being a musician and music lover the BOSE system is awesome. It still is equipped with a CD player which is cool. I haven't messed with the apple music set up yet, with CD, serious, and the USB inputs for a drive thats plenty for now. Best thing, it's mine. I got a good enough trade in to where I don't have to make payments, even though the dealer tried to sell me on it. I buy things one time and they're mine.

The Maxima is a beautiful car I wish the SR had 6 speed manual. I read they might discontinue the Maxima after 2021 hopefully they will keep it won't be the same without this model in the lineup.
I actually heard they're gonna re-release the Maxima as a four sports car gone full electric to compete with Tesla. They'll probably use the Ariya Platform.

Do it! You won't be sorry. I bought a 2017 Maxima SR with 8,000 miles on it in 2020 in the same color as the one in the video. I love it and I'm sure you will too. The ride is incredible and I constantly get compliments on how great it looks. Don't think about, just pull the trigger.

The Altima (SL and Platinum) has a better sounding, better tuned audio system-Bose (SL and Platinum) , has pro pilot assist and AWD. Good to your wallet as well.
if you don't use at least 91, the knock sensors will retard the timing. So yes, you need the premium to get the full 300 (even though the car runs fine at lower octanes). I have the '16 SV and have tried it.

I compared the 2020 Avalon and Maxima before I bought my Maxima. It's not in the same playing field, the Avalon I looked at was at $45k sticker price. I bought my Maxima for $37k brand new. Ohh, my car has all the bells and whistles that the other didn't.

I have a 2010 Maxima SV with 165,000 miles on it with no issues. I’ve owned my car for 10 years and no issues. It keeps going and going. I think my next vehicle will be a Lexus RX450h, the new Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Murano, or the Honda Passport
@@carsunlocked maxima 0-60 = 6sec accord. 0-60 = 5.7sec ...and that’s just according to manufacturers specs but there’s videos of stock accords hitting 5.4, 5.1 and 5.0sec which is why some people believe it has more hp than honda claim.
The Maxima beats it in looks , interior handling and overall style. Not saying the Accord is not a great car but if the Maxima gets rid of the CVT Nissans V-6 would eat the Accord for dinner

That's my car to a T. Hell yea its a sports car. I love the Gun metal gray with Black wheels. I'm fixing to get tint on the windows. Only thing, besides being FWD is I'm not crazy with the paddles, seems there's a hesitation, plus I have automatic for a reason. I traded a 2017 Chrysler 300 in on my 2021. It makes the 300 drive feel like driving a truck. Nothing against the 300 Sports edition. But once the warranty ran out expensive shit start failing, like electronically l fixed the radio then the dashlights went out. I been looking at the Maxima for a l9yr. or so and the Altima. I got a bit of $$ so after testing both the cars, you know where I went. Also, I'm going have to disagree with this man The Maxima is the definition of a 4 door sports car! I don't condone breaking speed limits but I read this car maxes out at 135 mpr. However, being a musician I go on my share of road trips. Usually I ride in the van but from the times I don't this car will do 150+

Nice review, how much is this SR Maxima? How fast does it get to reach 0km to 100km? Does it have AWD option?
i did mention these things in the video Canadian MSRP is $44 490 0-100 is 6 seconds and no there is no awd available

The CVT is a great transmission in the Maxima. I have a 2010 with 300,000km and have had no problems or issues.
