Maybe if you tried averaging it, so buy a main weekly shop for say £7-£10 then you could buy more for your money & refrigerate & freeze? Make advanced meals & freeze them too? Yellow ticket reduced items are great if available. Or buy a monthly shop for storable items on offer like dried soya mince, curry pastes & sauces, Amazon do good ones cheap sometimes. Or generally supermarkets have at least 1 suitable offer. Sausages meat or veggie are great for making more substantial meals spread further. Eggs too. Good luck 👍. Then do smaller weekly top up shopping? That's how I managed when I needed to for a new mortgage & times when I was younger & fairly broke. I'd buy dried soya & the value tuna tins. Cheap potatoes & veg. I did good tasty meals & packed lunches. Veggie cottage pie, tuna & salad mix for jacket potatoes & sandwiches. Brown sliced bread lasts longer in the fridge.
i bet if you did that same shop now it would cost 2x as much. would be good to see you get the exact same items just to demonstrate the hike in prices over the last few months
Unfortunately the One's doing the £1 challenge are not Poor & only play act for a day. Perhaps a 1 year challenge where you give up access to all you money & you try to feed yourself on £1 a day would be much more realistic?
Maybe So. But why are you living in a Banking/ Tax/ Offshore ?? And pretended to care about the cost of living, that your very existence is causing to Rise ? Then to rub Salt into the locals wounds you are laughing at them with £1 a day videos as if it's a realistic option to the rising cost of living.
