Or do insurance companies charge a premium for not being in the UK? & also, what's the situation with car insurance if you go on the Ferry back to the UK? Do you need to extend it? It’s cheaper yes. Policies are generally valid here and across. My insurance requires me to tell them when I go across but that’s all.
Thank god I wasn't aware of this auction. That XK8 was as cheap as chips and would probably have come home with me.
