- At the end of last year @trackfanstv took me along to Mr D's Slot car Drag Racing and having watched the racing close up and personal and had a go with a loaner car, I came to the conclusion I had to try and build one.

Well done dave and was a pleasure to help .

I love the body! That's one mean looking dragster
Wow, that was impressive first time out! Well done sir!
Excellent work Dave! Glad to see you finally tackling a scratch build.
Great job Dave! Very cool! 😎
Good job, Mate! Don`t worry about the soldering. Keep practising and it will get better from time to time. ;-)
Nice job and an interesting vehicle for the drag car! ❤
Great video Dave!! Looks fantastic!
Hello Dave, nice work and well done 👍

Wow, great result!!!!! Awesome work there Dave!!!!!
very nice Dave.
Looking good 😀
Love it
Pretty neat Mr SlotR, next you need to make one of those cool Shotgun Dave 1/32 hot rods! 😁
I have his care package, it'll happen soon
Interesting one Dave. I hope to get over to Gaydon again next Sat or Sun with my daughter and if I see you there I'll once again say 'Hi'. This build is 'proper Essex' and reminds me of the late 80s when you guys all drove around in Escort XR3s and 'Essex girls' were something of national pejoration in being and, for some strange reason, it was observed that they all ran around wearing white shoes. Still, Victoria Beckham managed to do alright for herself out of all this 'nonsense' but in the here and now then please do keep this slot car 'white'.
Great job Dave, is there nothing beyond your skill set??????
Seemingly painting the chuffin' thing! It's been for a swim in the isopropanol since then, it's actually a bit of a panic to get it done in time now! If it turns up at Slotfest looking like Murder Nova, you know it went wrong again! LOL
@@slotr 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey dave
Building a 1/32 drag strip
Do you know were to get parts for the chassis
I see part for 1/24 but not 1/32
Like
Chassis parts
Tires
Motors
Etc
Thanks
I was thinking of doing the same if the weather stays fine here for long enough to cut and rout sheets of wood, certainly in the UK 1/32 drag racing doesn't really exist so I guess you could define your own class that uses readily available components ?
Waiting for my 27 ford roadster 1/32 3d printed body to get here.like in my picture
Will order 1/24 chassis parts
Like what you used
Thanks
