I didn't go this year, but I'm looking forward to maybe coming from FL and going next year. Hopefully we can meet. Thanks for the videos!
My favorite part was meeting all of TNT Amusements Fans!! My daughter Terry had so much fun too.
Cary - I love your videos - never stop... and I hope your beautiful voice has fully recovered! Cheers. Be well.
Excellent wrap up of the show Cary. Just got home from driving back and i will do it again next year. Congratulations on the awards.
That comment is hillarious, I was seconds away from booking a ticket from Spain to go to the venue. Talk about "not seeing the forrest, because of all trees in the way". Pin venue is next door for US people and price is 30% cheaper than here, you guys are in heaven =)
Yo Cary! I came up to you and praised your LAH sound and music. Great pin! Your getaway was amazing, also. Thanks again for your contributions to pinball!
Great summary brother.
Looking forward to your reviews if the newer games.. seemed like the line for PF was the longest, but I have only been able to watch the posted videos. Maybe next year I can make it to my first pinball show… I am a newbie. Currently have;
1. Pinbot (selling)
2. AFM (selling)
3. Godzilla premium
4. Tron
5. Deposit down on a PF LE.
Keep up the great work my
Man.

Thanks for the shout out! I'm glad you enjoyed the TWIPYs.
Come to Southern Fried this year! It's as big or bigger than Chicago!! 😮
My brother and I brought our T2 pinball this year and Steve ritchie signed them both! It was an awesome experience
You have the best pinball channel, thanks for the review, maybe next year i go to USA for the first time , just to go to the TPF
I think I can speak for Lonny as well, your work on games has come along way, and it's good to see such awesome work from you, and everyone that brings such fantastic work. Sorry Not Sorry for taking that Best restoration award this year. :) I was sure you were going to get it. I mean that powder coating looked good. For those of you reading this, never be afraid to bring that machine you spent hundreds of hours on to the show. We love seeing what other people can do, and we always encourage the competition.
I am new to this amazing pinball community and trying to learn as much as possible, and this was my very first pinball festival..... and WOW. It was so amazing how well organized everything was, how respectful people were to others and if they were waiting behind you to play. I didn't get a chance to officially introduce myself to you. But I did get a chance to play your Johnny Mnemonic machine on Sunday, you did a great job! I plan on going back next year and years to come!
I had a blast at this years show. I stepped up to all your machines but there was a line. I would like to know how many people showed up this year vs previous. I have been to every TPF except last year because of covid. I feel like the lines got started in 2020 and haven’t gotten better since. It used to always be a few open machines and the lines were for new games or your favorite machines. It used to be dead man’s land after about 11pm and you could play as much of about anything but this year it was packed all the way till closing.
Lets go MIKE! My man!
I dont know what I just watched. I just drooled for 15 min over that pork chop 🤤
I find it helpful to view Jaegermeister as a drug, not a drink. 😂 There’s always a bottle in my freezer.
Thank you for this and all of your other videos, Cary. I am just re-entering the hobby after a 15+ year absence and am blown away by the changes. Couldn’t make it to TPF but my wife and I are looking forward to MGC in Milwaukee in a few days.
My Swords of Fury took a beating this year. Luckily the Pinball ERS guys helped out and got it back playing. I will make sure to bring a more diverse group of mechanical parts next year.
I did hate that it went down for awhile because I was right next to several doa games that stayed that way the whole show.
There were more games than last year, hence the arcades out in the hallway. I felt the venue was right sized for the show. The hallway could be utilized a little bit differently but I don't have any complaints
My thoughts: Pork Chop was AMAZING, Your Johnny Mnemonic looked and played GREAT, and next time we won't talk about Hot Sauce. lol
Fantastic show- Great Energy- Cannot tell you how many games on my top 10Buy list that are now out- And the games that are in (Godzilla & Iron Maidan)
I played your last action hero, I saw your getaway, but seems like it had an issue when I saw it so I thought I would come back to it later, but didn’t get a chance to.
TPF was amazing as it always is. I think during Friday night there were 3 food trucks out there. I ate at one at that time, but didn’t go back after. It’s crazy how popular the show has gotten, the entire weekend was jam packed, I couldn’t take 5 steps without having to squeeze through some people it was that packed. I played pretty much all the new games except for pulp fiction, I didn’t think the line was worth waiting in imo. Overall still an amazing show and can’t wait for next year, I am heavily considering being an exhibitor for the first time next year, but we will have to see how things go in the months leading up to the show.
Perrys is a must, though like I told you when I walked in and saw you there, you told too many people! It was a madhouse Friday, but the staff there moved through it pretty quickly.
The food truck thing, I didn't get either. Last year, we had a few choices, but this year, sadly....not much at all. Now, the one that did show up both days, was always good, but still...
Can you do a video one day on packing up a machine for safe transport? I'll move eventually and I want to know how to do it so they don't get damaged.
Pork Chops!!! Nice to see you and say Hi! 🦌🦌🦌
Cary, what should I bring next year…..? 😂
Thanks brother. 😎
It was my first time at TPF. I think it was most excellent. The show rocked. The complainers are probably people who complain about everything in their life. It was great to meet you. For those that haven't he's a great guy just like you see on his channel! I played your JM and Getaway. Talk about beautiful games. They felt like works of art. I have to step up my restore game.
Rants aside, I'm glad you had fun there.
nice to finally meet ya in person, keep up the rad! did you get a chance to play my Austin Powers or Custom F-14 and Lost world?
Unfortunately not, sir! Focused on meet and greets, the new stuff, and keeping my games going. lol. I saw dollar games going on Austin at one point though.
Hey Cary wanted your option if you had a choice new Elvira premium, Game of throne’s limited or Castus canyon which one would you pick
I told Todd NOT to bring that Cinematronics World Series baseball cab 🙄
Next year, you need to enter with SOF!! I'll scream this at you in person later.
I don't see the Simpson unboxing video on your TH-cam channel, what am I missing?
check the "Live" section of videos
Cary doubt you'll remember us, but we stopped and said Hi on Thursday (tall guy with his kid). or was it Friday before the show, dunno. You like all of us were busy setting up. We played your games (Highspeed, JM, LAH) and enjoyed them. I think Highspeed is the best of the three.
There were definitely a few ratty ass games there. Not many, but a few. If the shoe fits slip it on brothers and sisters and take note. Get them up and running and then shopped. The festival is really about showcasing these games at their best, not their worst. Is it really wroth lugging a POS all the way, setting it up, tearing down and getting laughed at for $75? I wouldn't do it, but to each their own. A suggestion I have for TPF in 2024, for those that bring good quality and working games in addition to the regular pass and swag, include a T-Shirt or something, but only if the games pass inspection. Or make inspection a requirement. I know TPF really doesn't want to get that anal and I can't argue that. TPF is supposed to be low stress and no drama. Let's all do our part.
We didn't bring games this year, it was our (son and I) first experience, but we did help friends who are our pinball mentors transport and set up 10 of their machines. Two of these machines took Best in Class another was in the tournament and was player a favorite. I helped shop that machine as well as some of the others. All of the games we brought were in excellent to good working order and we all worked to keep them that way because you know, things break. Some of these machines were very old. And wow so much fun to play. We worked our butts off and had a blast doing it. Next year my son and I plan on bringing at least two of our own machines. Machines we are refurbishing now.
Saw the TZ Topper, wow, very well done. It's worth every penny. Too much for us, and we don't have a Twilight Zone either and probably never will. We did spend some time talking with him and complimented him on what they've done and encouraged them to make more, which they are in the early processes of doing. I think TZ will be very successful.
We were there Thursday - Sunday and I now see that we missed SO much stuff! We'll have to do better, but what I can say is there was awesome things to see in every square foot of the convention center. It also takes quite a bit of time getting to the things you planned on seeing. I don't mind that the food trucks weren't there. It was easy enough to walk across the street to the mall, get better food for the same or less. In general we only had time to eat one meal a day anyway. Keeping hydrated was also a challenge.
By Sunday we were wiped out. My feet, legs, hips and palms were shot. I'm tall so I have to bend over and rest on machines to play them. I enjoyed meeting you Cary, Jack Danger who was so generous with his time (boy was he so tired and just kept going) and so many others. We stocked up on Comet Pinball LED's (Thank's Greg!) and Titan Rubbers and got to talk with Jeff at The Pinball Pimp. And the helping and sharing was on display.
Oh one recommendation to the Embassy! Put freaking trash cans all over the place inside the convention center!!!! Trash cans were very hard to find. People were leaving trash on the floor and cup holders. Please, trash cans, thank you.
Thanks, sorry for the long comment, peace!
I'm glad you had fun. Nice to also see you were in pain like the rest of us by Sunday. lol.
I met you in the elevator but I think it was Saturday after your Jagermiester evening lol
Yea, I wasn't very chatty til around noon or so...
Hi Cary, what do you think about GTF? Is it worth a buy? Thanks for the tour...
I'm gonna need a whole video for this game...
@@CaryHardy I'm looking forward to your review... Until then i will not clean up my room 😇
Threw up in my mouth when you said Jaeger….
Health issues prevented me from bringing a game this year. The show was great though!
Great video Cary. Are people’s from Europe allowed @ TPF…? 😎 If yes I should go next year.
Of course! We have plenty of people from all over the world show up!
did you catch up with Haggis Pinball?
Yes, spoke with Martin and Dameon for a while.damn, that's something I forgot to mention in the video.
Your video didn't include an update on your "John Wick" game - DID YOU SELL IT?
I was also going to ask if Johnny found a new home, assuming you weren't saving that news for a reveal video. Fun unboxing vids. Congrats on the awards and welcome home! Thanks!
Yes. I forgot to mention it sold for the asking price of $6.3K
Did you end up selling the JN?
Johnny was sold at the show!
It was our first time at TPF. Wish we would have had time to talk with you except a brief interaction. We understand people are busy there. This was a blast compared to Denver. All the vendors are great. They took time to talk with you even if ypu werent buying anything. The 1 knock was 1 of the people working at CGC. If the title wasn't Pulp Fiction I would have cancelled. Guy was just a dick, and I'm not the only 1 feeling that way. At the end thanks for what you do and the info you give.
I've got twin girls who turn 13 in 2 weeks. The attitude has already been going 200% for a while. 🤦♂
I ❤you Cary. I hope I don’t trigger you 😢
The show was awesome. I thought Foo Fighters was epic! Galactic Tank Force was pretty cool too.
The food trucks were there on Friday, but only 2-3 of them, I did not try any of them, but the pizza did not look appealing for me. I thought on your top 10 reasons to go and the food trucks were not worthy to one of them.
There is a sports bar like 100 meters away, great food IMHO, but for 2023 and someone coming from Argentina and living in Switzerland, I think the way they make their staff dress should be forbidden, very degrading. Maybe it's normal for USA.
Not winning the Simpsons was really disappointing too. Although organizing the shipping would be a difficult thing. I was thinking on approaching you in case.
Also, a lot of "newer" pins were missing. Jurassic Park, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Stranger Things (I really wanted to try that one), Beatles, Deadpool, Aerosmith, Game of thrones.. etc...
LOL That sports bar is a "unique" experience and the wait staff attire is one of the draws for that location, you should see it on a drinking holiday LOL, even less than what you saw probably lol...most restaurants in US are regular dress attire for the staff even the sports bars. ;)
Kids adolescence looks fair once you know childish adult attitudes 😂
I speak for me, going to TPF will be primarily for the sole reason of meeting in person the ppl involved with the hobby!
You forgot to tell, did you sold JM?
I forgot to mention it in the video! Yes, it sold for asking price of $6.3K.
@@CaryHardy Good price, well deserved. Congrats
Is not looking forward to her turning into a teenager 😂😂
I was pissed that alot of the machine were off! People please don't bring your broken pinballs just to get in for free!
