big mori fan here but would just like to know from a real vocal coach if she "slipped" @2:31? no big deal if she did. she was young here and even the best make mistakes 😬 just curious
Yes, she did. I've always noticed that too. But as you say, no big deal, she was very young and no one is flawless, especially when you have hundreds of live performances. It was a particularly soft/light/breathy note, which can be harder to control than the more powerful ones. Regardless, this is a beautiful performance. Love her facial expressions, her hairstyle, and how she tends to "conduct herself" with her arms and hands.

It sounds to me like her placement was slightly off on the first syllable "where," and then she had to make an adjustment mid-syllable on "ever," the latter of which was more noticeable.
Even I noticed that one. I was about to throw the laptop off the balcony in disgust... but then she went on and captured me. 🤡 Phew, I like my laptop... and Morissette too now. And who's that other helpful person??? Oh, yeah, Ninaaaaaa!

❤❤❤, Katrina 1:30 1:30 Velarde's rendition of the song, "To Love You More" is superb.. there is a part of the song that makes me wonder how did she do it and long she sustained that note.. I think it's an iconic performance and was sang better than the original.. I am waiting for you to do a review with this particular song here in your channel..
