I was still having nightmares the following christmas ha I work in TV now, and the engineer I work with helped with the titles/GFX for it months before it was broadcast. The OB scenes from the house were all filmed in the June of that year.
your dog is very calm and quiet, never barks even if you invite him to camp in the forest... Dogs usually have strong instincts when it comes to seeing something strange and the dog will definitely bark.
If he wants some scary camping he can come and check out the Aussie Outback. It’s a weird vibe when you know there is literally nobody around to hear you scream. 🤣
Oh yeah, you can also buy motion sensor lights so powerful the person will be momentarily blinded so you can see them and they can’t see you. We have 4 and place them strategically around our RV. If something approaches the light is triggered and we can see what’s out there. Might get you some of them-and a German Shepherd.
This is the one channel that even if it is BS, idc. Its really well done. CJ Faison, Jasko, Chris Baird, Moe Sargi--they're all comically farcical. But Gaz undersells it (assuming they are fake). The suspense is classically executed.

I have been in the same situation a few times. After someone tore down my tent on a trip, I started carrying a powerful flashlight and a night vision camera. This makes it more difficult for intruders to hide. Thanks for the exciting video 🙂

Red light is the best. It wont mess with your eyes like white or led lights do. If you have to use a light at all. Plus. It doesnt travel as far. So its good for stealth camping
leave a camp light on to keep dear away form camp but yes people can see you but i use a axe a knife and sling shot its dangerous for them to sneak on my camp never sneak up on a camper you never know what they got

Yeah, he did the right thing just abandoning it. With nothing to defend himself with, there wasn't much more he could've done. It's why I've always taken some sort of tool that can easily be used as a nasty weapon when wild camping; an axe or something like that.

This is so obviously a setup. Gaz took a friend with him to do all the naughty stuff off camera. The cinematic sound effects and soundtrack from the start reveal what Gaz' intentions are with this Halloween season entertainment. At 2:35 if you slow the video down, you can clearly see a guy moving in the tree line just to the right over his tent. Moving from tree to tree and getting quite close at times to you and your tent. It seems he has some kind of mask on. Check it out, pretty creepy!!
You can slow down the playback speed of the video by hitting the "gear" icon. It'll give you the option to adjust how fast or slow you can watch. And man... I've gotta say... if you play it back during the time-lapse... as slowly as TH-cam allows... there really IS someone wearing a mask in the background, going from tree to tree! Very creepy!
That's terrible that someone would destroy your tent. I couldn't believe all the snapping sounds, like someone was breaking branches. You need to put sensors & cameras, trail cameras etc.. around the area you camp at, that way if it is a person or persons you can turn them in for destroying your property. Take Care out there!! I camp with my weimaraner. He will not make a move or a sound unless there is a reason to go on alert. Then he sounds like a hound from hell. He even scares me when he goes off.
I used to think that the high street was the most dangerous part of the UK. I always felt safest in the woods. Watching your videos has changed my mind.
It's good that you left when you did because who knows what they might have done to you! I'm glad you got away safely but I'm so sorry that your tent was destroyed and your other items are missing. That being said, i have camped solo in some of the most secluded places, green mountains, white mountains, Appalachian Mountains, cdt and many more, and not one single time have i had an experience with Humans trying to mess around with me. Now that i have said that, i absolutely have had encounters with "things" that till this day i cannot explain. I do not EVER enter the bush without a handgun, i feel like its a must because the only person thats gonna catch me with my pants down is my wife

Im torn on believing this or not. A couple reasons why im thinking this way. First being the belief you were deep in the woods yet could see vehicles lights that passed by while you were in the tent , and then the fact you jumped out of the tent without a light to shine and see what or where the threat was either animal or human. Made me jump and genious way of keeping the suspense going during the video. Well done.

If you slow down the time lapse of the setting up you can see a bloke ten yards away in the background who Gaz would have clearly heard walking around. And, clearly someone put there hand on the top of the tent and pushed it down and he got out and ran off without saying anything lol! Gaz is not stupid and there’s no way he thinks that’s the wind bringing down branches. It’s obviously someone breaking branches and chucking them around the tent. Happy Halloween, buddy!

Cant believe you haven't got a high powered torch. Its probably one of the most important bits of kit to have. Great for self defence too. Glad you're ok though. Its not a safe world any more.
Gaz you defiantly need to invest in a good torch! going to places on your own and in the woods you always need a dam good torch with a good flood and throw of light. so you can see if anyone's out there. them torches you have are ok inside the tent but going out to see if anyone's there you need that brightness mate. its enough to make anyone out there know they can be seen! iv got the (OLIGHT SRMINI intimidator 2) and the (KLARUS g20) that are my main two ill take with me going outdoors. and a few more in case lol as iv many torches. and them sounds were creepy for sure going on outside your tent. i bet your arse was making sandcastles sat there hearing that lol and someone touching you that was crazy!! you defiantly need some torches lol thanks for sharing Gaz. 👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP👍👍👍👍👍 Anthony, Derby

I actually hike, backpack and camp in the Greater Yellowstone and Grand Teton areas. You need nerves of steel to do this where Grizzly and Black bear live and roam. Here the branch break could actually be bear or sasquatch! Loved the video...TERRIFYING!!! I enjoy your content as well as both yours and Fendel's personalities.
Minutes before something/ someone attacked your tent there was couple of quiet barks but it didn't look like it was your wee buddy ... did you hear that ? Was it Fendy? I doubt it was a Halloween prank .Grizzly wouldn't tear and slash his own stuff.
You need some infrared motion sensing trail cams on the trees around the tent and some motion sensing lights facing outward from the tent. Plus you also need to invest in one of those ultra bright LED torch’s that light up like the sun - they are so bright you’d blind anyone you shine it at. Also some bear spray wouldn’t go amiss here, I think.
Just out of morbid curiosity, but have you thought of placing your trail cam directly above your tent facing down? Might be able to at least see who or what is bothering you at night... also, there is a way to use a cell phone to see the light your trail cam uses, that might be how you lost that one after the stranger showed at camp for tea...

I have the same night goggles and a police light it is very powerful but it doesn't take the fear out of the trip.

At 2:35 if you slow the video down, you can clearly see a guy moving in the tree line just to the right over his tent. Moving from tree to tree and getting quite close at times to you and your tent. It seems he has some kind of mask on. Check it out, pretty creepy!!

You can slow down the playback speed of the video by hitting the "gear" icon. It'll give you the option to adjust how fast or slow you can watch. And man... I've gotta say... if you play it back during the time-lapse... as slowly as TH-cam allows... there really IS someone wearing a mask in the background, going from tree to tree! Very creepy!

That's terrible that someone would destroy your tent. I couldn't believe all the snapping sounds, like someone was breaking branches. You need to put sensors & cameras, trail cameras etc.. around the area you camp at, that way if it is a person or persons you can turn them in for destroying your property.

I camp with my weimaraner. He will not make a move or a sound unless there is a reason to go on alert. Then he sounds like a hound from hell. He even scares me when he goes off.
I have sent my dog out on an occasion or to to stave off any attacks.

Stumbled across this channel completely at random and love it! That being said, i have camped solo in some of the most secluded places, green mountains, white mountains, Appalachian Mountains, cdt and many more, and not one single time have i had an experience with Humans trying to mess around with me. Now that i have said that, i absolutely have had encounters with "things" that till this day i cannot explain. I do not EVER enter the bush without a handgun, i feel like its a must because the only person thats gonna catch me with my pants down is my wife

i once went camping in an alley in blackpool for charity to raise mone yfor homeless where there qwhere dozens of crackheads and they attacked my tent.

Im torn on believing this or not. A couple reasons why im thinking this way.
First being the belief you were deep in the woods yet could see vehicles lights that passed by while you were in the tent , and then the fact you jumped out of the tent without a light to shine and see what or where the threat was either animal or human.
Made me jump and genious way of keeping the suspense going during the video. Well done.

If you slow down the time lapse of the setting up you can see a bloke ten yards away in the background who Gaz would have clearly heard walking around. And, clearly someone put there hand on the top of the tent and pushed it down and he got out and ran off without saying anything lol! Gaz is not stupid and there’s no way he thinks that’s the wind bringing down branches. It’s obviously someone breaking branches and chucking them around the tent. Happy Halloween, buddy!

Between 2:33 and 2:40 there's someone lurking between the tent and the tree on the right. If you change the playback speed to 0.25 you can see it more clearly.

Cant believe you haven't got a high powered torch. Its probably one of the most important bits of kit to have. Great for self defence too. Glad you're ok though. Its not a safe world any more.

Gaz you defiantly need to invest in a good torch! going to places on your own and in the woods you always need a dam good torch with a good flood and throw of light. so you can see if anyone's out there. them torches you have are ok inside the tent but going out to see if anyone's there you need that brightness mate. its enough to make anyone out there know they can be seen! iv got the (OLIGHT SRMINI intimidator 2) and the (KLARUS g20) that are my main two ill take with me going outdoors. and a few more in case lol as iv many torches.

I actually hike, backpack and camp in the Greater Yellowstone and Grand Teton areas. You need nerves of steel to do this where Grizzly and Black bear live and roam. Here the branch break could actually be bear or sasquatch! Loved the video...TERRIFYING!!! I enjoy your content as well as both yours and Fendel's personalities.

Minutes before something/ someone attacked your tent there was couple of quiet barks but it didn't look like it was your wee buddy ... did you hear that ? Was it Fendy?
I doubt it was a Halloween prank .Grizzly wouldn't tear and slash his own stuff.
You need some infrared motion sensing trail cams on the trees around the tent and some motion sensing lights facing outward from the tent. Plus you also need to invest in one of those ultra bright LED torch’s that light up like the sun - they are so bright you’d blind anyone you shine it at.
Also some bear spray wouldn’t go amiss here, I think.
Just out of morbid curiosity, but have you thought of placing your trail cam directly above your tent facing down? Might be able to at least see who or what is bothering you at night... also, there is a way to use a cell phone to see the light your trail cam uses, that might be how you lost that one after the stranger showed at camp for tea...
Would just expose that his friends are outside making noise and all that stuff. I mean are you seriously naive enough to think this is real? LOL
