I have some discus videos already posted :) Browse through my older videos, there are seven parts of "Discus fish classification" from Aquatics Live 2012 show in London :)
without an ample amount of flat ground and substrate for a stingray to burrow under and glide over the fish are likely to swim through the plants and flatten them.
Hey, thanks! :) I have a lot of material to edit and to publish, and there is also one new, from 2013 - The British Discus Show in Doncaster, UK. Coming soon :)
That sting ray is awesome I so want one that first tank looks epic and the sting ray does real catch your eye I have a male gt in my tank and a sting ray would be epic to own and have
It's not a single tank, it's about 50 different small tanks. All these have the total capacity of about 1500 liters. So, on the average, every tank has about 30 liters. I don't breed discus, I breed celestial pearl danios Danio margaritatus.
Exposição de aquários sempre traz novidades e equipamentos com alta tecnologia, agora esta exposição ficou a desejar com estes aquarios com filtros ultrapassados e com águas turvas!!
Uuuu, it's a looooong subject :) I'd start with very easy plants, like Vallisneria and Hornwort, and easy fish, like guppies or mollies. You can make very nice aquascape even with Vallisneria only, and after few months you'll get enough experience to get something more advanced. Vallisneria and Hornwort are plants with which one can't fail (I think :) ).
"Conventions"? What do you mean? As for Step by Step instructions, just enter "Settig up an aquarium" in Google or TH-cam, and I'm pretty sure there will be dozens of relevant serach results :) Another option for you is to wait until I make something like this in one of my videos ;) (but this might take time, I'm affraid :) )
No, thank you for your time making these videos. I'd hang with ya at these events. Very cool. The more black water biotope at 6:00 in this vid is my fav. Amazing.
one of my favourite commentary on youtube. very calm and informational.
Thanks! :) You can visit ZooBotanica this year - it's organized on 13-15 September 2013 in Wrocław, Poland.
You are such a wonderful, knowledgeable and thoughtful narrator.

i get all my ideas from your videos ,been breeding fish a long time and only just got into Aquascaping
I'm amazed you can keep a stingray in a planted tank. How cool is that!
This stingray is very young. Plants wouldn't last for long with a larger stingray.
DefiniteAquascapeTV Why? Stingrays don't eat plants, so why would a larger stingray be a problem?
DraconisMarchVII they would pull everything up, they need surfaces to lay on
+njw1383 Baby sting ray be like "Mom, they put me in the wrong Fish Tank !!"

Keep in mind that they need a pretty good sized tank. The one pictured here is a 65 gallon tank.
4:40 the "stemmed plants" on the right is hygrophila polysperma 'tropical sunset'. I would bet my life on it.
It is, but it's a very gentle animal, and doesn't attack humans without a reason.
Great video as usual, im always getting ideas to add to my scapes, thanks

BEST AQUASCAPING CHANNEL 👍👍👍
Beautiful aquariums! I hope one day mine will be as good
I think it's a standard 240 liters tank - 120 x 40 x 50 cm.
I love your vids man. Please keep them coming, I'm getting some crazy ideas lol.
Potamotrygon motoro.
9:57 what are These Stones?
And wehre can i get it?
Nooo, it's Potamotrygon motoro, not the reticulated stingray.
very charming! i thought the cucumber snack was very cute :) good video!
How did you prevent inbreeding, BTW? I breed Celestial Pearl Danios, and sometimes inbreeding seems to be a problem...
That first tank with the ray is awesome!
Cool video =)
See ya
Me? I live in Poland :) I have about 1500 liters at home, in about 50 various tanks. But none of them are planted tanks, it's just a breeding setup.
hydrocotyles sp. japan (he tells the nam in the video) one of my fav foreground plant ;)
Thanks, trying to do my best! :)

Hey, thanks for the info :) Do you have any source of this information? I mean, I'd like to read something more about this method of defence...
I also keep 6 blue neon tetras in my aquarium
Stary, na początku filmu jest na górze link do wersji polskiej :P
It's Vallisneria, probably V. gigantea :)
Nice tank, but are you showing signs of deficiency in the fern there a bit?
Excelente video .
Thanks! :)
Hey, I'm happy to hear that! :) That's my main goal, to provide people with inspiration :) What have you been breeding, BTW? :)
Amazing you know by any chance how much in gallons is the stingray tank. just an idea? thanks
To aquarium shops, and also individual clients. But I prefer selling to shops, as they buy large amount of fish at once.

Where can I get a stingray?
needs more tetras
The motoro stingray will out grow the tank in 6 months and tear everything apart and eat all the fish. Its a lousy set up for a stingray.
Of course it's not for a stingray. This tank was set up only for the time of the exhibition, and is not designed for housing a stingray for long time.
Exactly, it's Hydrocotyle sp. Japan! :) (not "HydrocotyleS" :) )
awesome tanks
Love your voice ! :)
I wish I could buy some celestial pearl danios form you but I live in the u.s :(
