From a logistical perspective, how do you choose who gets to participate in your guild activities like GvG and GvE if its limited to 16 people per week? Also is there a benefit to being in a highly ranked guild if you're not able to participate and contribute? Otherwise wouldn't it make more sense to break down into a bunch of 16 player guilds? lol
@@ZiddyN Everyone can join shortly before the war starts which means you need to make sure that only the chosen 16 players join the battle. In RU people who are in high ranked guild and don't contribute at all, will be removed because they are just leeching. If you are not interested in GvG but wants to join a high ranked guild, you can contribute with participating in gve while having min maxed gear. It is always good to have more than 16 active gvg members especially if substitue are needed in case some core members can't make it on that day.

Could you do a video breaking down the privileges and ranks within the guild? As in how much authority does each rank assignment hold and what they can and can't do for things like spending currency or using guild skills, ect.
Appreciate this video. You have any thoughts on the “best” guild quests to go after early on (due to rewards, difficulty, etc)? Or would you say to just go off of the guild’s play style/what can be completed each week?

How long would it roughly be for a fresh guild to unlock 50/70 member slots assuming there are 20 people consistently doing their dailies/weeklies with the rest completing it here and there?
Glad my video was helpful! I will provide an updated version before eu/na release with some minor changes.
The amount of time required to unlock that many slots is hard to estimate. But i think it will take you around a month+ to get 50-60 slots cap. They might change that before eu/na release though.
So with the upcoming patch on NA/EU that has some GvG changes I'm searching for some infos about the ''Damage & defense stats will change'' changes. I assume you were playing on RU. KR has it. So i assume RU has it too. Do you know what exactly this means? Is it a downscale like on island PvP? Is it even worth stacking a specific stat like endurance after the change?

Hey, every class has a role in GVG. So there is no trash class! But like in every other game, there are classes which perform really well in GvGs!
Eg:
Gunlancer, Destroyer and Artilerist can be build tanky and still do tons of damage in gvg.
Both support classes are always goood to have in every GvG.
Summoners are one of the top tier DD classes in GvG if you have a supporting team around you.
Arcana and Hawkeye are really good at controling certain spaces and deal solid amount of damage.
Soul FIst 2nd awakening can destroy the entire enemy team if placed well.
Thank you for this thorough video! Question: Is it common to have primary alts join the same guild as your main, or have primary alts join a separate guild? Is it better for resource funneling to have alts in the same guild? Not sure if there's an optimal way to approach this :X
We made a separate guild for alts. If you and your guild are going for the competitive path, then only mains should be in the "main guild". (As long as you are not struggling to get new members to fill all slots)
so confusing. what the hell does min/max contribution goal do? is lower or higher better for ranking up your guild quicker?

I want to create a strong guild asap. However, I'm not sure what my first steps should be once the guild is created. Thing is I've already tried this by creating a guild on Beta with some friends and we felt stuck. For example, guild research asked for guild currency, but since we were new, there were no currency at all so we couldn't invest on research nor anything else. We actually didn't know what to do and how to start besides daily donations. So what my first steps should be? Thanks for ur time dude!
so the guild weekly task reset fee increase by 500 per refresh. does it reset (back to 1000) every week or not?

Yes, you can open a lobby for a specific content and invite friends/guild mates to the lobby and fill the empty slots with randoms who apply to the group.

How can i do to create a party raid inside of GvG island (1.30 minutes) and the other option to make a party of six group, for example, before enter GvE?
Create a raid group by clicking on "Raid" button at the top. It will send an invite to all guild members who entered the GvG island.
You can change a normal group out side into a raid group if everyone member in the group is in a big city. Once a raid is formed, you can enter as such to a GvE. But that doesn't work for GvG.

I get that it is possible to use Silmael Crystals in order to exchange them for upgrade gear materials. However, when I want to upgrade my guild by doing Research, it asks me a lot of those Silmael Crystals. So... As a team leader, should I use Silmael Crystals for upgrading my gear score or should I priorize guild research? Thank you very much man, keep it up!

The crystals which you need to do research, will be deducted from the guild's crystal storage and not from your personal one. If you have the feeling that the guild storage is always short an crystals for upgrades or converting into mana stones to use guild abilities, then you might need to change the allocation ratio which i explained at 10:47.

Hey, the badge is only for 1st placed guild on an S ranked gvg island.
Nice Video! 1 Question. Who can use the Guild Skills in PvE and PvP? It says officer+ but i asked them and they couldnt use it
The highest ranking person in the instance. If you are guild lead and you are with your co lead or officier in the GvG or GvE, you can use the guild skills. Since you are the highest rank in there. But you can also pass the right to use skills once you start gvg/gve and the guild skill bar appears.
I wanna run a guild for Lost Ark so this helps a lot. You mentioned statics, how big are they/should they be in preparation for the game coming out? Also, what's a good composition for it? e.g what classes should comprise the static?
Hey, statics at early content are only 4 Players but later it goes up to 16.
Regarding ideal static comp:
1 sup + 1 crit buff class+ 1 ap buff class + 1 Burst DD -> this is usually a solid comp.

If they are in 2 different guilds, yes. One guild can only get assign themself for 1 gvg and 1 gve per week to get rewards.
Had a few questions:
1. Can you create custom member ranks in the guild? If not, what do the ranks mean? (what guild management power do they grant to members?)
2. What skills are ideal to research first for a new guild?
3. Is the 1000 weekly contribution goal a good standard? Is there a too low or too high amount? Just wondering about rules of thumb here.

1. You cant create custom ranks. Co-Leader can accept/kick members. During GvG and GvE, if the guild leader cant participate the co lead or officer can activate the guild skills.
2. Guild quest related research which suits your guild and guild shop releated ones.
3. I would reccomend to start with 350 on week one and gradually increase it based on guild members activity.

How do you validate guild quest ? We can only start 1, we completed the objective but it still shows as running ? Do we have to wait the weekly reset to get it completed ?

Yes, but you can give the person the vice role before you transfer.

How to get rank 1 in island capture? how the rating system works. You said you will face 5 guilds each will be 10 minutes. What if you win all the battles and another guild wins all the 5 as well. Who will be the rank 1?
Each win and lose gives you points. Wins give more points of course. The leaderboard for that island will be updated after each match, and who ever has the most points gets first place on that island.
That scenario is unlikely but if it should happen, it depends on the points. Points per win/lose is not fixed and depends also on the performance during each battle.
Are the GvG and GvE rewards pretty respectable? Or are they mostly just something extra while having fun with the guild?
If we are talking about the higher tier/difficulty GvG and GvE, then it is huge! Because of our GvG and GvE placement, every guild member gets at weekly reset round about 8k guild crystals if they reached max contribution. Without gvg and gve, we would mostlikely not even get 2k :D

I still don't get how the weekly orange bloodstones are calculated. I'm on EU so the only source of them should be Weekly Tasks. We did 3 weekly tasks at Lv. 3 so that should be 3400*3*3=30600. In the Weekly Distribution Letter is says that we got a total of 99600.

How long does it take for a guild leader to give guild lead to someone else?
Can more than 1 party from the same guild participate in GvG in either the same or a different island? Lets say 1 party is competetive they want to try hard get rank 1, but you have another casual party who just wanna go in there to get rewards but don't care about winning? Or are the rewards completly not worth it if you don't win? Thanks :)
As mentioned in the Video, the guild leader has to chose for the entire guild one GvG and one GvE for the week. Only those will count and will give rewards to the guild at weekly reset based on performance. In addition to that, everyone who participated will get contribution points and some small amount of guild currency.

Yes, you can transfer it in the "manage" tab. It will transfer the lead to the co leader.

Each alt can join a different guild =)

Of course it matters, the better the guild, the higher the placement and the better the rewards.

Mark of honor are pvp tokens and cant be bought. Only earned through PvP.
Guild crystals cant be bought either.

There are other PvE contents (dailies & weeklies) which can give you gold too.

The higher Tier one aren't. There are some lower Tier GvGs which are balanced and sometimes doesn't even require any kind of typical "PvP."

At the end you talked a lot about GvG not being p2w, but that opened a whole new question. Is the best gear in the game whale gear? Most MMOs have high end raid gear as the best but you're talking as if whale gear is better than f2p.
Whale gear = they just upgraded the same gear we have faster to a higher enhancement level. For a f2p casual, it will take longer.

Ingame you can check guild description. But all serious guilds usually have a discord which you need to join. Ingame guild chat was never enough in an mmorpg to organize a guild =/
