We are naming ourselves in game. We control frisk, we are making frisk kill everything because we're 'curious', and we reset everything when it's done without frisk having any say in the matter. You are determined to 'play the game '.Sound familiar? are the first fallen human, because asriel thinks frisk is his best friend, who has the same name you have given 'your character'.
2 other theories: no1: Does Sans really bleed? When we kill Sans, we only land a blow on him the second time. Maybe the first time we instead stabbed ourselves. That's also worth noting that the blood on Sans looks like it's been splattered or transferred from the knife to his jacket. no2: Is eye-power connected to handedness? It would only make sense. Sans' left eye glows, and turns out he's a lefty. Undyne's patched eye has spears glowing from it in her Undying form, she's also left-handed. Mettaton is obviously right-handed, and his glow-shaped eye is his right one. Finally, Asgore is ambidextrous, and during his fight, when he uses his trident, he warns us of the order if the attack's colors with both his eyes flashing a different color. It kinda makes sense. (Also worth noting that this theory is absolutely useless)
For the Sans one, I think it's just ketchup. It's shown that he chugs ketchup by the bottle when you go to Grillby's with him. This also explains why a living skeleton "bleeds".
roarbutton I personally think that its just the fact he's a skeleton and by breaking his bones the marrows produce blood and it splatters and papyrus doesn't show blood as you strike his battle body which means any blood would be inside his battle body or you struck his neck which has no marrow as its only bone but imagine if there was an answer .It wouldn't make sense but it would be fairly *humerus* if it was ketchup that came out of its pouch

Theres a theory about "Blooky" and Mettaton. Since they are cousins Mettaton was once a ghost. There is a character that sometimes appears near nabstablooks house. There is a key somewhere to open the house to the right on Nabstablook and that her name was susie. Alphys was working with her and made a body for her. Making Mettaton. Also that the mad dummy is also related to them. (Sorry if this confusing)
There is another theory that mad dummy's ghost is the same ghost as the one possessing mad mew mew and another that is that mad dummy/mad mew mew is mettaton and napstablook's cousin
The problem with the "monsters were once human" theory is that napstablook also had a sister which would leave asgore with 7 human souls, thus leading to the escape of monsters
The ghosts could've been past fallen humans, but when they died and were turned into ghosts, they got new souls. As far fetched as it sounds it is pretty possible.

Frisk shows empathy to all monsters *cough* *cough* genocide route *cough* *cough* Also that line the darkness rises probably also means deltarune (the game)
What if Chara's determination spread onto the flowers? It could explain why Undyne is very determined. She spends a lot of time with Asgore, and his favorite tea is Golden Flower. Who knows.....
10 - of course not, keen and observant monsters such as sans or Toriel would immediately notice we aren't human but a monster 9 - no, it's debunked by Toriel / Asriel at the end of Pacifist path; the corpses were burrowed - same goes for First Human's / Chara's body 8 - she's depressed, but hardly insane; in fact Alphys seems to be one of the most clever and sensible / conscientious monsters in the Underground. Remember that Alphys first had built a killer robot (probably on Asgore's demand) and only then changed him to her own entertainer. It's the Metatton's "inner self", the entertainer, that really reflects her true self as well. Also, remember that Metatton does mention Alphys intentionally played with Frisk, but she did it out of the need to feel like a hero. Given her liking of anime this sure is childlike behaviour, but on the other hand understandable. Also, you didn't mention how her relationship with Undyne went, and it also gives the impression that Alphys is a sane and good person, just a little misguided. 7 - this is the most riddiculous of all I think, there's not a single line or clue to back it up. And contrary to it, there's actually at least a glimmer of probability for the theory that Chara's SOUL is with / in Frisk. Another contrary fact would be that CORE was created before Alphys even experimented with SOULs, and probably at the time Gaster / sans were at work. 6 - the most likely scenario is that she had an accident when fighting / training already in the ranks of the Royal Guard, or that she lost it to one of the Fallen Children 5 - Not bad. Photoshop Flowey actually alludes to everything being a dream - his theme is called "Your Best Nightmare" and when the player dies, instead of regular "Chara you must wake up (...)" from Asgore all we see is "This is just a bad dream... and you're not waking from it!" However, the SAVE system among other things can as well be artistic license. 4 - Again, not bad, this is a pretty nice idea. 3 - makes no sense at least to me. There are two reasons for this, the most important being that only sans could possibly be aware of Chara and the second that ramblings on foreseeing the future makes no sense to me, since black holes aren't in any way connected to that 2 - This point will be larger, because it encompasses a hypothesis contrary to your own. For starters, we name the First Fallen Human obviously because they are our persona in the game. As Toby pointed out numerous times, we OUGHT to identify with them, and that already tells us a lot. First thing we should therefore notice - that 'Chara' isn't exactly the same as the First Fallen Human. As Chara identifies themselves, they are a "demon", therefore most obviously they're not the human that has first fallen to the Undergroud and befriended Asriel. Nor 'Chara' is the entity that helps us recall memories with Asriel and persuade him at the end of Pacifist route. Nor, according to another theory, is this 'Chara' the true narrator of all routes. So why Chara claims their name is the 'true' one, when we type it to name the First Fallen Human? That's obviously a call to players who have already completed Genocide and are therefore aware of any 'Chara' existing. Second, First Fallen Human was a misguided and perhaps mistreated child who had the exact same aspirations as Asgore - to free monsters. They were only a human so to speak, and as Asriel notices - perhaps not the best one, not as noble as Pacifist Frisk. But they were no evil demon that 'Chara' is. What exactly is 'Chara'? It should be obvious for any player who had been playing RPGs and named their CHARActers. It's the 'true' name because it is a string variable in all games, for which we can substitute any name. Chara explains to us they 'are' whenever we earn gold, whenever we exp, whenever we are, in fact, merciless power gamers. They are the demon of this lust, a powerful breaking of the 4th wall that calls to the "gamer" in us. And they want us, 'partners' to come destroy new worlds - isn't this a clear indication of new games? Now, on to your theory - the resemblance is purely a matter of clothes. It makes no sense that we are "remnants of Chara", though it makes sense we are in fact possesed by them in a way - but not only in Genocide, in all routes actually, though only in Genocide they visibly take control. 1 - The only problem with this theory is that it is pure speculation and more of a hypothesis. Nothing we encounter in the game makes this theory work, maybe except for easter eggs and little semblance of sans and Papyrus to Mother / Earthbound characters.

I have an opinion about the 6th theory. So, we all know about the war between HUMANS and MONSTERS, right? Undyne could've lost an eye due to the war. I highly doubt that any of the 6 humans just poked her eye out. In the Undyne The Undying fight, we see that spear looking thing pouring out of her previously covered up eye. And, if we look closely, there is no sign of an eye patch. I believe that is MAGIC, that is pouring out, since Determination is usually seen to be red in the game. Now, to answer the actual question of the theory: ''Why does Undyne cover up her eye?'' is fairly simple now. She lost it due to an injury in the war, and covering it up now. bUt hEy, tHaT's jUsT a ThEoRy. a gAmE tHeOrY.
But we know monsters can only live for a certain amount of time (not including boss monsters or dead/undead monsters),Gerson can live longer because he’s a turtle monster but a fish lady would have about the same lifetime of any other non-boss monster.
a theory I have is that undyne covers her eye because it's been melted from a determination injection PROOF: if you kill her on the neutral route her determination almost peaks and she melts. this also happens to her undying form on the genocide route. Her undying form is so epic and powerful, it could very well be a monster god form that had been replicated from a raw injection rather than an actual human soul. and finally, she is very close to Alphys, so she has all the necessary resourses. something might have happened that made Alphys want to test the injection on her, or she might have swiped a sample and did it on herself. In any case, it probably turned out she had enough resistance to survive the process, but she didn't go unscathed.
I think it's either Toriel or Asgore. Somewhere in the game (think it's the Core but not sure) it says that boss monsters only age when they have a child. Asriel has been dead for quite sometime so both must be quite old.
ShadowStream7 but gaster has 2 and he died or out of existing when he created the black hole and it way before chara fall so it can be gaster,asgore,toriel but maybe he will find something interesting
It doesn't say anywhere that Gaster had 2 children. If you are talking about Sans and Papyrus, then it is false. And where does it say he created a black hole?
In the Undyne the Undying fight, She takes of the eyepatch to reveal a Black space where her eye would be. Pretty much proving that something happened to her eye.
That eyepatch stuff remind me of an anime charakter: Kenpachi from bleach. He weara an eyepatch as a seal to his energy. When he takes it off a huge ammount power is released.
Theory 1: I highly doubt that, Although Asgore DID ask "What type of monster are you?" on genocide Despite the humans he's killed, but it's not exactly solid proof. 2/10 Theory 2: There is a lot of proof behind this theory. 7/10 Theory 3: MY MIND HAS BEEN BLOWN. 10/10 Theory 4: Awesome theory! 8/10 Theory 5: YES! I do believe it's all a dream! Check the proof: 1. Frisks eyes are always shut. 2. Flowey says: "It's all just a bad dream!" 3. Why do we see Chara's memory? Some might argue that narrator Chara had this memory, but I'm not convinced. 4. The 4th wall is smashed to pieces. Not with a hammer. With a bunch of pellets. While some may think this is an insane theory, I give it a 10/10 Theory 6: ...? Theory 7: I believe in the narrator Chara theory, but if i didn't I would give it a 10/10. Instead it's a 9/10. Theory 8: But don't we see the 6 souls in jars? 6/10
Actually, you can see the Gaster followers (the NPCs that reference Gaster) without messing with the game files. So, FUN is randomly set each time you start a playthrough of the game, so if you don't want to mess with the game files, you just have to get extremely lucky.
I also think that the reason Frisk is yellow because along the line that Frisk could be a girl or a boy, they could be 6 or 11, that their skin tone also allows the player to reflect their race onto them. Also I think the reason (and I'm pretty sure you went over this already) Frisk's eyes are shut is also so the character can reflect their emotions onto them.
"...as the bodies have apparently disappeared." No, from what we can examine, specifically CHARA's body has disappeared. From Flowey's dialogue on the Genocide Route, we know that Toriel took Chara's body when she left, and buried them in a bed of golden flowers.
Ok I have theory that you could do in full detail if you want but you don't have to (and if you do give credit :p). what if we do name the human we play as because what if we are chara I know it may sound crazy but hear me out. frisk never EVER opens there eyes so how do they see so well and read sighs that dont really look like there in brail, so maybe chara is guiding them. that's why you relive memory's of them and the narrator says "it's me chara" because there guiding you and narrating you and may be that's where the red soul went, to help you (even thought I believe chara died on the surface and the humans got her soul but eh). thanks for reading this brick of a comment. Yeah, your Theory About: "It all just being a dream?" That is a great guess. But Why does frisk show up with "The child's out of all goat mom. Bringing Frisk a butterscotch cinnamon pie?" Rayquaza Moemon Because determination is also a trait found in the other human souls. Remember the Amalgamates? They were made with determination, and the only place that Alphys could have gotten it from is the other human souls. Determination seems to be more of an energy or magic instead of a trait. Therefore it wouldn't make sense for a soul to be made purely of determination, as their soul would essentially be made up entirely of the stuff. Also, perseverance is WAY too similar to determination for them to be different traits. My personal theory is that the red soul is the soul of love. (No, not LOVE!) It would make sense, as during a neutral pacifist run, Sans says that you didn't gain any LOVE, but you instead gained love. This could be foreshadowing that trait. You're probably wondering why someone with a soul of love would be compelled to kill everything in sight. Remember, love is interpreted in many ways. Hitler loved his people, yet look at the crimes he had committed! For all we know, Frisk's love may have been for death! I'm tired. Sorry if my theory made no sense.
Frisk literally *cannot* have that much determination and still be a monster. Yes, Undyne *is* a monster and yes she *is* really determined, but on the genocide path when she becomes really determined she starts melting. Another example is the amalgamates as a whole. They were infused with *so* much determination that they literally melted together. Whereas Frisk is not melted at all.
I have a theory. If Frisk was a monster, why would Asgore need to kill Frisk, when he needs a monster soul? And why is Asgore asking for Frisk to take his soul on the Pacifist battle, when he needs a human soul?
Sans must be the yellow heart! Justice because it OBVIOUSLY himmmm 💛papyrus might be of perseverance 💜because even if you kill him he says he believes in you.
An actually explainable theory : Frisks skin was not always yellow, but instead when she fell on the flowers, which are ALSO oddly YELLOW, meaning that her skin tone could changed.
5:54 i actually have two ideas for the artifact but this is doopid yes: 1. it could be the power of red attacks (most bosses have special soul types, ((unrelated but what if there was a fangame where every monster and boss had been infused with soul energy depending on the area? undyne is the green one, sans and papyrus are blue (mostly sans)etc, but anyway itd make sense for ANOTHER attack to be made) or 2. the power of absorption,annoying dog absorbs the orb, absORBs, red is frisk's soul color, monsters can absorb souls,maybe it gives humans the power to absorb souls, ? tbh i wish it was both but the red attack one makes like no sense
The first dummy you fight is also an undead monster, as the Mad Dummy states "'When you first came into this place... You talked to my cousin [The first dummy you meet]. But what you told him... It was horrible..." Or some form of this.
Blackninja 1123 the one at Undyne House is Mad Dummy When you talk to him on Pacifist, he will say something about being sorry for acting like a dummy.
Hey UnderLab I got a theory! Remember how you said that the bodies of the children are missing from the coffins? And how you said Sans, Papyrus, The mad dummy, Napstablook and Gaster are undead? Im thinking that some of the children ARE these characters! But im not sure Gaster is an Adult (Im pretty sure) and all of them are Children but it could be possible that they aged? Even after death? But it always could be possible but, all of them are boys and we haven't really confirmed the 6 human souls true genders, So what my theory is and what im trying to say is: What if the dead children ARE Sans, Papyrus, The mad dummy, Napstablook and Gaster are the children?

9 - no, it's debunked by Toriel / Asriel at the end of Pacifist path; the corpses were burrowed - same goes for First Human's / Chara's body
8 - she's depressed, but hardly insane; in fact Alphys seems to be one of the most clever and sensible / conscientious monsters in the Underground.
Remember that Alphys first had built a killer robot (probably on Asgore's demand) and only then changed him to her own entertainer.
It's the Metatton's "inner self", the entertainer, that really reflects her true self as well. Also, remember that Metatton does mention Alphys intentionally played with Frisk, but she did it out of the need to feel like a hero. Given her liking of anime this sure is childlike behaviour, but on the other hand understandable. Also, you didn't mention how her relationship with Undyne went, and it also gives the impression that Alphys is a sane and good person, just a little misguided.
7 - this is the most riddiculous of all I think, there's not a single line or clue to back it up. And contrary to it, there's actually at least a glimmer of probability for the theory that Chara's SOUL is with / in Frisk. Another contrary fact would be that CORE was created before Alphys even experimented with SOULs, and probably at the time Gaster / sans were at work.
6 - the most likely scenario is that she had an accident when fighting / training already in the ranks of the Royal Guard, or that she lost it to one of the Fallen Children

Photoshop Flowey actually alludes to everything being a dream - his theme is called "Your Best Nightmare" and when the player dies, instead of regular "Chara you must wake up (...)" from Asgore all we see is "This is just a bad dream... and you're not waking from it!" However, the SAVE system among other things can as well be artistic license.
4 - Again, not bad, this is a pretty nice idea.
3 - makes no sense at least to me. There are two reasons for this, the most important being that only sans could possibly be aware of Chara and the second that ramblings on foreseeing the future makes no sense to me, since black holes aren't in any way connected to that
2 - This point will be larger, because it encompasses a hypothesis contrary to your own.
For starters, we name the First Fallen Human obviously because they are our persona in the game.
As Toby pointed out numerous times, we OUGHT to identify with them, and that already tells us a lot.
First thing we should therefore notice - that 'Chara' isn't exactly the same as the First Fallen Human.
As Chara identifies themselves, they are a "demon", therefore most obviously they're not the human that has first fallen to the Undergroud and befriended Asriel. Nor 'Chara' is the entity that helps us recall memories with Asriel and persuade him at the end of Pacifist route. Nor, according to another theory, is this 'Chara' the true narrator of all routes.
So why Chara claims their name is the 'true' one, when we type it to name the First Fallen Human?
That's obviously a call to players who have already completed Genocide and are therefore aware of any 'Chara' existing.
Second, First Fallen Human was a misguided and perhaps mistreated child who had the exact same aspirations as Asgore - to free monsters. They were only a human so to speak, and as Asriel notices - perhaps not the best one, not as noble as Pacifist Frisk. But they were no evil demon that 'Chara' is.
What exactly is 'Chara'? It should be obvious for any player who had been playing RPGs and named their CHARActers. It's the 'true' name because it is a string variable in all games, for which we can substitute any name. Chara explains to us they 'are' whenever we earn gold, whenever we exp, whenever we are, in fact, merciless power gamers. They are the demon of this lust, a powerful breaking of the 4th wall that calls to the "gamer" in us. And they want us, 'partners' to come destroy new worlds - isn't this a clear indication of new games?
Now, on to your theory - the resemblance is purely a matter of clothes. It makes no sense that we are "remnants of Chara", though it makes sense we are in fact possesed by them in a way - but not only in Genocide, in all routes actually, though only in Genocide they visibly take control.
1 - The only problem with this theory is that it is pure speculation and more of a hypothesis. Nothing we encounter in the game makes this theory work, maybe except for easter eggs and little semblance of sans and Papyrus to Mother / Earthbound characters.

Undyne could've lost an eye due to the war.
I highly doubt that any of the 6 humans just poked her eye out.
In the Undyne The Undying fight, we see that spear looking thing pouring out of her previously covered up eye.
And, if we look closely, there is no sign of an eye patch.
I believe that is MAGIC, that is pouring out, since Determination is usually seen to be red in the game.
Now, to answer the actual question of the theory: ''Why does Undyne cover up her eye?'' is fairly simple now.
She lost it due to an injury in the war, and covering it up now.

a theory I have is that undyne covers her eye because it's been melted from a determination injection
PROOF: if you kill her on the neutral route her determination almost peaks and she melts. this also happens to her undying form on the genocide route.
Her undying form is so epic and powerful, it could very well be a monster god form that had been replicated from a raw injection rather than an actual human soul.
and finally, she is very close to Alphys, so she has all the necessary resourses. something might have happened that made Alphys want to test the injection on her, or she might have swiped a sample and did it on herself. In any case, it probably turned out she had enough resistance to survive the process, but she didn't go unscathed.

I think it's either Toriel or Asgore. Somewhere in the game (think it's the Core but not sure) it says that boss monsters only age when they have a child. Asriel has been dead for quite sometime so both must be quite old.

Actually, you can see the Gaster followers (the NPCs that reference Gaster) without messing with the game files. So, FUN is randomly set each time you start a playthrough of the game, so if you don't want to mess with the game files, you just have to get extremely lucky.

I also think that the reason Frisk is yellow because along the line that Frisk could be a girl or a boy, they could be 6 or 11, that their skin tone also allows the player to reflect their race onto them. Also I think the reason (and I'm pretty sure you went over this already) Frisk's eyes are shut is also so the character can reflect their emotions onto them.

No, from what we can examine, specifically CHARA's body has disappeared. From Flowey's dialogue on the Genocide Route, we know that Toriel took Chara's body when she left, and buried them in a bed of golden flowers.

You could say that the monsters already knew how to do monster food before being sealed away and ok you may have a point but explain to me how alphys didn't understand sh*t about the core even tho she is the 2nd most intelligent monster(I assume sans is smarter than her since he knows about the timelines) gaster probally came from the future with the design of the core

Rayquaza Moemon Because determination is also a trait found in the other human souls. Remember the Amalgamates? They were made with determination, and the only place that Alphys could have gotten it from is the other human souls. Determination seems to be more of an energy or magic instead of a trait. Therefore it wouldn't make sense for a soul to be made purely of determination, as their soul would essentially be made up entirely of the stuff. Also, perseverance is WAY too similar to determination for them to be different traits. My personal theory is that the red soul is the soul of love. (No, not LOVE!) It would make sense, as during a neutral pacifist run, Sans says that you didn't gain any LOVE, but you instead gained love. This could be foreshadowing that trait. You're probably wondering why someone with a soul of love would be compelled to kill everything in sight. Remember, love is interpreted in many ways. Hitler loved his people, yet look at the crimes he had committed! For all we know, Frisk's love may have been for death!

Frisk literally *cannot* have that much determination and still be a monster.
Yes, Undyne *is* a monster and yes she *is* really determined, but on the genocide path when she becomes really determined she starts melting. Another example is the amalgamates as a whole. They were infused with *so* much determination that they literally melted together. Whereas Frisk is not melted at all.

5:54 i actually have two ideas for the artifact but this is doopid yes: 1. it could be the power of red attacks (most bosses have special soul types, ((unrelated but what if there was a fangame where every monster and boss had been infused with soul energy depending on the area? undyne is the green one, sans and papyrus are blue (mostly sans)etc, but anyway itd make sense for ANOTHER attack to be made) or 2. the power of absorption,annoying dog absorbs the orb, absORBs, red is frisk's soul color, monsters can absorb souls,maybe it gives humans the power to absorb souls, ? tbh i wish it was both but the red attack one makes like no sense

Hey UnderLab I got a theory! Remember how you said that the bodies of the children are missing from the coffins? And how you said Sans, Papyrus, The mad dummy, Napstablook and Gaster are undead? Im thinking that some of the children ARE these characters! But im not sure Gaster is an Adult (Im pretty sure) and all of them are Children but it could be possible that they aged? Even after death? But it always could be possible but, all of them are boys and we haven't really confirmed the 6 human souls true genders, So what my theory is and what im trying to say is: What if the dead children ARE Sans, Papyrus, The mad dummy, Napstablook and Gaster are the children?
