I did try the Bond no 9 you mentioned! The Ambroxan completely turned me off.

Haltane! Sitting on a nearly full bottle. Sprayed it about ten times total across a few wears. Cannot get into it. Darley is much better. Gotta figure how to off-load Haltane.
Haltane may not be for everyone especially the opening in particular can be rough for some. Although I think it’s a very easy, wearable, and sexy oud fragrance. Glad you like Darley that’s definitely a unique one. Thanks for the comment!
I can get behind the others but PDM Layton is far from unique, there's a ton of smell alike out there as well as clones. The scent profile and or vibe is very popular.

I have quite a few niche fragrances but this one really stands out.
