Hailey and Nil are born to Turkish parents in Turkey but moved to the USA when they were relatively young. As per Hailey they have green card so far (she mentioned this when she talked about how she can’t vote in the USA) and do not have dual citizenship yet but based on what they said it seems they are going to get dual citizenship in the near future. (Just some extra info 😬)... Polina on the other hand is also Turkish but she actually has a Russian mom (hence the Russian name. She is also using her mom’s maiden name as her last name) and a Turkish dad but she has lived all her life in Turkey (went to Russia sometimes to visit extended family on her mom’s side) except for a recent 2-year living experience in USA (where she lived with her Turkish boyfriend so she still spoke a lot of Turkish in her daily life during that time) and 2 years is not enough to lose your native tongue/accent, so her Turkish is still superb.

Hailey Sani is Turkish and actually grew up in Turkey Izmir, and moved with her family to Los Angeles to further her youtube career. She already had a little popularity before she moved to America and her videos were in English from the beginning. This channel she made later a while back to speak just Turkish. But her main channel is th-cam.com/channels/PcTxBaAhAOTLz1HoIN1quw.html

I have been binging your videos, your Turkish is better than you think, especially the way you pronounce certain words, indistinguishable from a native speaker. I know your grammar is not great, but Turkish has a very hard grammar with a lot of suffixes added to a single word one after another. Only after I learnt English, I started to understand how much more a complex language Turkish is. I love your videos, I hope you are making some buck out of them, I didn't come across any ads in these videos, though. I hope people are supporting your channel.

Polina's mother is Russian and father is Turk and I think she grow up in Turkey but they were always in touch with Russia I guess they always went there? I'm not sure. Also Hailey Eylül is Turk but they moved a lot when growing up and even when they were in Turkey I think she studied in a English school but because her parents are both Turk I guess she was able to preserve her Turkish. Btw great video I really enjoyed watching it.

You don't realize your talent. Remember how everyone thought you were turkish even though you were only a beginner. That had never happened to anyone in history. I am not saying you can be as good as natives, if you tried that is. I am saying you can be better than natives. If I put you in a control group of 50, all turks, and ask some turkish person to pick the foreigner, they would pick at least 45 turks before even considering you. You are that good at your peak.
