I try to practice using labels with those telemarketing callers. When they start with "How are you doing?" I reply with a label, "It sounds like you've got something that you want to talk about". I haven't been able to practice much after my response, because they hang up right away.

Christopher, I have a question I really need help with. I work in Natural product sales and lately we have had a lot of buyers just don’t even bother answering emails anymore. These are people that I have to have a relationship with, but I can’t negotiate with somebody that doesn’t answer an email. What can I do to help get a response that doesn’t jeopardize a further positive positive working relationship? They are holding our profits hostage and I need some negotiation help!

I was able to identify a label attempt yesterday. I was watching TH-cam with my mom and she refuses to pay for premium. A commercial comes on and he begins with, “I know I only have 2 minutes to get your attention “. It took me about 3 seconds to think before I noticed that it was using the labeling technique. I began to critique this label in my mind, because it didn’t fully connect. I was thinking, yes I heard that the attention span of people has declined, but that’s not what I was thinking when this commercial interrupted me and my mom’s video 😩 He would of been better off starting with, “I know you don’t want me interrupting your video, but……
It seems that misplaced labels are beneficial in two way conversations, but not in one way communications such as tv commercials.

I’ll also check to see if I should revise it.

Can you include third-party negotiations sometime? Most of your excellent examples are 1st person, in other words, each party benefits from the outcome. An example would be an insurance company that has employees that are paid to deny, defer and delay your claim. They are negotiating with someone else's money. I find them to be impossible to deal with.
