- Working 12 hour long shifts are normal when working as a Registered Nurse. It definitely took me a bit of time to get used to, but with the right mindset and a bit of trial and error, I learnt to embrace working those long hours. In this video, I'm sharing with you guys my tips on how I make it through x

Is there concern about recommendation letters that we had worked for?
What are part time shifts like? I’m a nursing student and a single mum so thinking about the future n part time hours will be more suitable to my life
Hello, part time shifts are usually 24hour contracted shift work so 2LD shifts per week rather than the typical 3-4 (37.5hours) per week nursing rota. You can also consider flexible working shift patterns where you negotiate directly with your employer specific days you can/can't work for childcare reasons, so you might not even need to go part time :)
