- What a shift 😭!! I faced so many challenges working this night shift in Intensive Care Unit!! I was caring for a very unwell patient, whilst also battling the heat in full PPE 🥵 on one of the hottest nights in summer.
You will see how tired, dehydrated and stressed I became. I was even contemplating whether or not to upload this because of how much I struggled :(
However, I believe it is important to highlight the challenges we sometimes face in our profession, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. All professionals were tested both mentally and physically during this time….and whilst there may be a comical factor to this! I sometimes look back and think, how on earth did I work through some of those shifts!
