I honestly loved this reunion show. The entire cast was extremely charming, the guest stars were phenomenal, James Corden wasn't going as over the top as he usually does, and the recreation of the sets was really incredible.
The chemistry between the friends it’s underrated even. Shows like Seinfeld (which I agree it’s funnier) for explane everyone is best friend with jerry but not really with each other, that’s the difference with friends, the characters might have their favorites between the group but they always show to care about everyone in the group and have episodes for each pair
It was all going so well, then everything changed when James Corden inserted himself into it. Everytime he is on screen or opens his mouth I stop enjoying myself.
Still disappointed, there is no Emma, no Ben,No Mike In fact, many guest stars are not clear what to do with "FRIEND" 😂 (sorry for my english.still learning)
That 10-minute section in the middle focusing on diverse people from across the world and how watching FRIENDS impacted their lives was so heartwarming and made me love the show more 😭

Both were good but I like the Fresh Prince one better. Felt more intimate and emotional. Only issues I had with friends reunion were I think they could have easily shaved off 30 min by cutting all the fan testimonials. Also, I really hope that Matthew Perry he is ok. He sounded like he was slurring his words. Supposedly he had just had an emergency mouth surgery. I hope that’s true.
There’s a reason that the years that friends was on tv had the emmys won by shows like Frasier because they had more funnier/clever writing however friends is about the whole story and the group

It’s great. You’re right, of course they had tasteful work done. That’s the key to it, subtle and well done. I love it.

I work out and eat right, hydrate and take vitamins and use decent skincare like a retinol serum and an spf15 moisturiser. I always wear sunglasses in sun and often use pore strips or masks. I take plenty of vitamin E and when I'm fresh people say I look younger but in the end it has a lot to do with genes. You are so right though like when I think of being 40 in the 80s it's so different to that now. Definitely nutrition has played a big part in it I think. I have a big shelf of stuff from The Ordinary 😂.

You do all the right things, though I’d use a higher spf , depending on where you live and in a few years switch to real tretinoin. In the centuries before people that had the luxury to stay out of the sun looked a lot younger for longer, actually. Many Asians still use these techniques. The idea that people get old by 45+ is quite recent, from the 50s etc and hopefully reverses now. I’m on opiates , I hope not for life but I have third and fourth degree burns from a car accident.

In the regular rainy, dull weather I use 15 but I burn so easy its hats and 50 and I wait for it to soak in too. I often wear long sleeves but screen my hands too. I have a few moles so even as a kid I always knew to screen up. Do you suggest upping the spf even in dull/winter weather then? I'll come home and wash it off with a cleanser or Dove(soap is bad but i found out Dove isn't a soap!) and put on a serum and moisturiser and then at night a retinol and caffeine one for my crows feet and night moisturiser. I'll use a mask now and then and I have one of those roller things in the fridge when I'm a bit worse for wear! 😂 Wow, Natalie I am so sorry to hear you had that accident and injuries. Forget any nay sayers or any dickhead chastising you...when it is time to stop you can and will. Its hard and all but you will manage. If you never do then you never do... What's different from that to a diabetic? You had an accident and need them. End of story. You are stronger and braver than you think! I don't understand why people argue about comedy being funny or not, HUMOR IS SUBJECTIVE. More like "lots of jokes" on Friends not landing I think it's more about the abuse of the laugh track, (I know, there was a live audience but I just don't believe they die of laughter every 2 lines). I would say out of 10 times the laugh track sounds 3 to 5 are actually funny.
Besides James Gordon (YIKES, can't stand that guy) and the other pointless modern celebrities that got forced into this, it was amazing and extremely well done. Would've been even better if it was longer, but it's already amazing how it is now.

It seems like he really is the one who never got over the show ending as much as he has tried to and seen as the show helped him overcome his addiction and pretty much literally saved his life it seems as if afterwards everyone just went into their own stuff and Matthew struggled again. I really hope he can find stability

As much as I enjoyed the friends reunion I’m a bigger fan of the reunion movie like the one my all time favorite tv show Batman got even though Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt wasn’t the standard reunion movie cause we didn’t see where Bruce Wayne and dick Greyson were in there life’s in 2003 but it wasn’t just them siting. Around talking about the show it was still done in a reunion movie format it would have been nice to see where the characters are in there life’s in 2021 the show can feel dated at times but still enjoyable to watch friends is also why family guy got its second cancellation cause fox decided to give family guy another chance after seeing how well the first 2 seasons were doing on adult swim but did the stupid thing to put it up against friends 8th season at 8:00 pm on Thursday they should have let the tick be the lead in show so it wouldn’t have had friends to contend with

James Corden the guy who was doing the interviewing created a massive show in the UK called Gavin and Stacey it ended in 2010 they brought it back for a christmas episode in 2019 ended it on a cliffhanger and have not said anything about a series 4. Vee, I apologise for inflicting James Cordon on you. Tell you one thing about the friends and fresh Prince reunion shows - one of the twos casts has aged a lot better than the other.
He went through a lot and was actually looking way better than I expected. I cried a little when he shared that he got crazy anxiety if the audience didn’t laugh at his jokes. I also remember in one interview he said that he doesn’t really remember a couple of the seasons bc he was doing drugs and drank a lot. He was on and off in rehab and had gastrointestinal problems. He’s better now and he’s very strong ❤️
