Great work. I have had a go on the BBMF Spitfire simulator with the Authentikit gear and it is brilliant.
Thank you for what you and the whole AuthentiKit team does. I haven't got a 3D printer yet but when I do I know what some of the first things I will be printing :).
Many thanks. The community will be ready for you too.
Incredible video! Thank you for narrating, in depth your experience! That simulator project is incredible - I'm glad it could use your AuthentiKit controls, they are a great fit.
Thanks Cap'n Bob !
What an amazing job you've done and that what you have come up with is being used by those who know and fly the real deal. That's some serious praise for AuthentiKit.
I'm an American but I have to say seeing the Spitfire and Lancaster flying in formation is quite a sight.
Incredible. Thank you for all that you do Phil. Keeping the spirit of “so much is owed by many to the few” alive and well. Happy New Year.
And to you! Much appreciated.
I was lucky enough to have a similar personal tour of the BBMF a few years ago and the tail gunner in the Lancaster was an astonishing experience. Loving your work!!
Uncomfortable, no room for a parachute, vulnerable and and no doubt freezing. Indeed it was eye opening. Thanks!
@@AuthentiKit parachute on a hook behind you.....scary stuff
Brilliant! Making dreams come virtually true! Well done!
Fantastic!! Well done Phil and everyone involved. 👍
Thanks. You're quite right, more people than I had time to mention played a part in this.
Get's a like from me, half way through building my Mozzie quadrant and just waiting on some felt. Can't wait to get in VR with it.
Good luck with the mossie unit. That's Harry's fine work again.
Many thanks for your great work and dedication! This has truly been a game changer.
Fantastic, all credit to everyone who has contributed their input and expertise in the conception and making of the items, culminating in such a valuable educational tool!
I’ve admired your work for a while and would rather like to indulge in your stuff (I’m a modeller too so it’s a logical next step). This is an incredible project and it’s fascinating to see it come together.
This, and my friend’s amazing work on his own simpit based on an actual retired agricultural aircraft, is very inspirational and aspirational stuff. It would certainly make flying a P-40E a little more achievable…
It would be great to see how you might apply your modelling skills to an AuthentiKit build. Go for it!
@@AuthentiKit I'm keenly anticipating the P-40 control stick and any other P-40-related bits - I'm a P-40E Kittyhawk fan but I'm excited to give the -B components a go.
Phil, this is an outstanding video. Well done.
Thanks Dennis. Got there in the end!
Incredible. Great story, well done!
Well done!
Great story, thanks Phil!
Thank you!
That was a amazing video!.
Bravo! Great to see this being used!
Thanks. Yes it's proving popular.
awwww, miss you boycey!
Bugger....i'm up at Coningsby alot....shame i missed you guys! Amazing work chaps!! Hats off!
Thanks. I'll be up (actually 5 hours down) again in the next month or two.
The greatest generation. We don't know them all but we owe them all. God bless them all.
Very much so.
Well done all
Brilliant video (nice car :))
Yeh, good fun for a road trip like that. 🙂
I love this project so much. Have you got plans to change any of the print files based on the measurements and feedback you got during this process?
Thanks! The stick and throttle will get an upgrade in due course. More resistance for the stick and some strengthening for the throttle.
Congrads Phil Well Done
Thanks! I got a lot of help along the way.
Should be in every Santa pac at Christmas
Excellent idea 007
Incredible work gentlemen. This looks absolutely fantastic.

Thanks - I had a broadband wobble at the end of the upload. Should all be good now.
You may want to go back and trim the video, Phil. Looks like the last several minutes are just blank.
There's some after the blank too, but 18:56 - 21:50 are blank
Thanks. I had a broadband wobble at the end of upload. I've trimmed off the end, though YT says it will take a few hours to tidy. I'd better check everything up to there is good.
What a fantastic partnership with BBMF and Authentikit . Well done Phil. 🫡
Many thanks. Just the start hopefully with much more to come.
