    Beautiful! Thank you for sharing. So inspiring. I’m going to try following one of your videos. I’ve got my canvas ready with the gold underpainting. Time to get a sketch down and pick up the brushes!

    Hey Greg really loved this tutorial. PA was a place I almost got a chance to visit/camp but my family talked me out of it. I think this spring towards April I will do an 8”x10” of this composition to learn your style, however I might tighten it up just a tad but not much. Thanks for posting love it!

    excellent video. YOu could make an online instruction site where you sell memberships to watch you paint. I would be interested. Your videos are very well explained...well done!

    Thanks so much I am a watercolorist but now i am very interested in trying the golden open paints What is that beautiful big brush you are using ? And do you use the acrylics when you paint plein air or do you switch to oil?

    • @GregHargarten
      @GregHargarten  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Teri, Thanks for watching. The big brush is a Connoisseur 24. I use the Open acrylics for plein air as well. I originally switched to the Opens because the heavy body acrylics were drying too quickly in the field, then found I liked them in the studio too!

      @@GregHargarten ok that’s a great brush to buy, but now where do I purchase that robotic arm to help the brush? 😂 I love your tree style and your entire paintings!

    Greg, are your paints all from Van Dyke?

    • @GregHargarten
      @GregHargarten  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ana, I use Golden Open Acrylics. Van Dyke Brown is one of their colors. I hope that helps.
