Watched “making the team” for years but honestly watching the Netflix special made me really notice you more. I love that you DID NOT SETTLE in pursuing your dreams. Praying for your health, safety and well being.
I think some of the best advice I got was to always remember that life is all times and seasons. You won’t be a teenager forever (thank God), you won’t be in your 20s figuring out who are and who you aren’t forever, you won’t be in your 30s trying to settle down and attempt adulting forever. The trick is to enjoy each phase and remember each chapter will pass for better or for worse.
I have been following your career since your first audition at 18. You are the brightest light, you have an open and loving heart. You come across as being a highly sensitive person and I feel like you have given everything you could to DCC. I am so proud of you, as Lauren Norris says "be the girl that went for it" and girl, you went for it! It can be so overwhelming to start over, I have done it myself in order to pursue my dreams. There will be moments you struggle, but know that the Lord puts you where you should be. Cannot wait to watch this phase of your life, you are going to set New York on fire, no doubt Miss future Rockette!!
I am a recovering from anorexia and bulimia for over 40+ years, you’re right it’s always part of you, but I am here to say it does get easier as time goes on. When I look in the mirror I don’t see what my body truly looks like! But I have learned just to love what I see in the mirror!!! I Stay strong! I see your beauty because it comes from the heart! God Bless you ! Break a leg!

You remind me of my 3 daughters, the oldest of which is very near your age. We are all pink loving, puzzle doing, girly girls, so it’s refreshing to see you enjoying those things too. As a mom I have a small piece of advice. Do you use a devotional each day? If not, I recommend one called “Every Day in His Presence” by Charles Stanley. My girls and I enjoy it very much.
