- Hi Lovelies! With my GameDay Makeup routine, a lot of you asked about my hair routine too! Here is PART 1 of how I get the bouncy, voluminous curls for a Dallas Cowboys game! Stay tuned for my tips and tricks on what's next after the pin curls have cooled... Enjoy! XOXO
You are now the most followed DCC out of all the DCCs in history on social media (specifically Instagram). Get em girl! So glad to see the impact you've had on others through your bravery to share your story. We all have self-doubt but please know you are loved and respected. 💕
I never would've guessed that I'd sit for 10 minutes and watch someone curl their hair.. But with Victoria I'd sit for hours! Wish I was living in NY just so we could go for a coffee 💕💕

As a hairstylist since the late eighties, I love that you are showing you can use old school Conair iron and get the same results as those expensive brands! Great for us hairdressers, but not a necessity for individuals ❤❤❤I wish you the best in New York!

New York native here! Here are a few places to go...
For fun: Central Park (check out The Mall, The Pond, The Reservoir if you're a runner, or the northwestern part of the park where the locals roam), Chelsea Market, Essex Market, The Color Factory, Little Island, the Ice Cream Museum, MoMA, The Met, The Highline (although it's not as great now due to the influx of apartments), the Brooklyn Bridge and the carousel in Dumbo, as well as the skyline view from Long Island City (which is my favorite spot). Pier 26 on the Hudson River also known as the Tide Deck is a great spot for the sunset which is behind a winery. Yes, we have a winery in Manhattan haha. One Summit is a MUST!!!! (don't go to the Empire State Building. If you're on it you can't see it!) go to One Summit for a view
Best Neighborhoods: Soho, Tribeca, UWS has great restaurants, I live on Riverside so Riverside Park is my favorite, Bryant Park has a lot of activities in the summer including movies in the park, LIC is a nice spot to get a full view of the Manhattan skyline with less of a crowd, Dumbo is popular but way too crowded for me as a local haha.
Shopping: I'm old school (80s baby) so I prefer to go from store to store on the streets but newbies prefer the mall. I grew up with no malls in the city and I enjoy getting my steps in as well as visiting various neighborhoods to go shopping... but if a mall is your vibe I hear there's one at Hudson Yards. I do like the shopping center in Columbus Circle as well, especially during the holidays. I mainly go there for the Whole Foods haha.
Groceries: Stick to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, or Target as well as the farmer's markets by Columbia University, Lincoln Center or Union Square Park. Local stores like Gristedes or West Side Market are a rip-off lol.
Best restaurants: Bubby's and Gotan are my go-to in Tribeca. Bubby's is packed on the weekend so I stick to weekdays or go early on weekends. Dos Caminos and The Grey Dog are great spots in Soho. Shi in LIC (Long Island City) is one of my favorites as well. If you have a sweet tooth definitely check out the Little Cupcake Bakeshop or Mikey Likes It ice cream shop. If you want a traditional NY bagel or sandwich go to the local bodega or deli. There are "bagel shops" from outsiders who moved to NY charging$7-$10 a bagel. Local shops charge $2 or $3
Give Class Pass a try. You can check out the app or website. It's a good way of trying multiple activities in the city and a great way to meet like-minded individuals. Hope this helps!

Great list❤ Of course you have to go to the Plaza to see Eloise. I am sure the Palm Court is still there.Eloise was my hero when I was a little girl…..you can leave her a letter in the mail box next to her portrait…..pick up a copy of the book…..you are such a girlie girl….you will love her too! Wish I felt up to traveling…..my daughter and my 3 grandson live there…..but I have an inoperable hip (no i was not a cheerleader) but my white blood cell is too high for the surgery. It just won’t make the walking….however as a F/A for 33 years with DAL…..I have spent many days seeing all of the sights! Enjoy and embrace all that surrounds you sweet angel….I lit a candle at Mass for you!🙏🏻❣️🥰

My tip for you as a hairstylist please use a heat protectant and use one with hold it'll help so much!
Also, lower the heat on your iron max should be 375. Trust me your blonde will stay brighter and healthier!

Omg I love how sweet you are! You seem so kind! 💕 as a dancer myself (although not professionally, sadly) I’ve felt the struggle of living in a small little town in Slovenia …. I would give everything to be able to take dance classes in bigger cities. EVERYTHING.
It sucks that so many people have few to almost no opportunities just because they were born where they were born. Plus being too poor to move is another issue.

So cute!! I love the idea of dance class drop off. My mom and I are the same way and when I moved I gave her a biiiig mason jar full of things I love about her and fav memories written on scraps of paper and so when she misses me she grabs one out and I send her little updates over the year so she doesn’t run out. It’s helped a lot!

I watched the Netflix show in one fell swoop last week when a miserable migraine had struck me down. The show was intriguing and that's how I even knew you existed. I had been unacquainted with all things DCC, but here I am, possessed of more information about the DCC Than I ever thought I'd have or care to have. Wild, I say. Wild. Annnnnnyway, all this to say, I just subscribed to your channel and I think you're a lovely human and you're a fabulous performer! Hi Victoria!! I'm so excited to watch you and your journey. I love the idea of the sightseeing, and one spot I've always wanted to visit is Grand Central Station (because of Gossip Girl.)
