    Congrats on your excellent 90mph run Mart.... The 32 looks an absolute peach, all she needs now is the 1960's style Simon Templer SAINT on the front doors 😄that will worry next years competitors 😃..... Thanks for taking us with you on the journey the scenery was fantastic we don't have Castles here in Australia .... Thanks again most enjoyable.....👍

      Hello Mart. Many thanks yet again for your super videos. It was great to get the atmosphere of the event that our two boys Jody and Marcus were for the weekend. In fact I’ve told them that come what may I’ll be there next year! Congratulations on your 90 mph - well done!

    Loved both videos Mart. Thanks for sharing. I've been intending to go to this for years but never got round to it. This year I was all set, then Friday before setting off, my modern heap killed an injector. I hate it and it's gonna cost me a fortune to fix. I'd daily your sedan (with a roof and more glass lol). Hope to see you soon at a local show somewhere.

      Cheers Peter, glad you enjoyed it. We are very lucky to be given the opportunity to take part in this event. It took a lot of very hard work by far sighted individuals to instigate it.

    Gudrun.. errr. Now that was super Mart!
    (Gudrun ure was supergran whom I know in London)
    I had exactly the same issue of no charging and temp rising fast in my p/u. The generator had fallen down and the belt was loose.
    You'll be able to take the 100e to the next pendine event at the rate you're going Mart.

    • @MartsGarage
      @MartsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kevin. I think I was lucky not to throw the belt. I'd like to think the 100E will be capable of driving to Pendine by this time next year. Whether I'd LIKE to drive it to Pendine is another matter!

    Ah yes ! Punish the tyres and fan belt !

    • @MartsGarage
      @MartsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tony. The car takes some punishment. It a bit more gentle on the car than drag racing but combined with some decent road miles I was glad to get home incident free.

    Hey great to see you running ---- had a laugh seeing it marked as a model 40 were you going to take the coupe? or is it just wrong

    • @MartsGarage
      @MartsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I don't know why. It's probably a carryover from when I ran my 33.

  • @neaveiisaac2816
    @neaveiisaac2816 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Surely filling in the roof and windows will decrease drag significantly resulting in much more speed

    • @MartsGarage
      @MartsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Neavel. Yes, you are right, but I had some mechanical issues last year and wanted to run the car in much the same trim. Whether "much" more speed would be achieved is the question. Without chopping and channelling I don't thing the roof and windows would bump it by much. There's always next year to find out. Thanks for watching.
