    Great job, great result! I hope your wife is feeling better. A heatstroke should really be treated at a hospital. Drink plenty and wear a cap/hat of light color. ❤❤❤

    You, your crew(wife) and your brother, wear reflective vests. You do have out traffic cones, that's good 👍

    I hope she is OK now. Food for thought, water dehydrates you put in the heat. You lose electrolytes so Gatorade is key to hydration. I wear protective gear and always have gatorade with me when doing lawn work. Keep up the good work

    Don't take any chances. It is hot out there. Stay hydrated and wear proper clothing. Heat stroke is dangerous and vrery risky aside from all the hazards of traffic, dust, chemicals and many others. You do good job and stay safe.

    The property looks a thousand times better, but a heat stroke is dangerous and people can die from it. So watch it. And drink plenty of water and Gatorade.

      Well said Thomas! We had lawn guys come out and work today. We put out ice Gatorade and ice water. They're Hispanic(we live in north Texas)so they wear big floppy hats. We let them rest under our big roof with tables and chairs.
      We're too old now(late 70s)to do our own yard work but if I still had a mower I could probly do that but wife is afraid I might trip like I did earlier this year. Had to call the EMTs to pick me up.

    I'm not a doctor but this is my advice be hydrated, wear light clothes, take breaks and if anything reframe from working during peak time if it's very hot. trust me it happened to me one time when I was cutting my cousin lawn but I persevered and finished it.
    But if anything heat stroke can be very dangerous especially because In 2019 when I came back from summer camp I was so exhausted due to heat exhaustion and since then I've been trying to persevere myself drinking plenty of water (I still forget to this day) But at the end of the day try not to kill yourself doing hard working jobs.

    Good job but what's the deal with the tree in front of the garage? You and your wife work well together!

  • @garymucher4082

    Nice transformation. But don't push the work in the heat. It can be very dangerous and supper quickly too... I have to ask, why didn't you take that overgrown bushy-looking tree thing in the driveway next to the house. It looks so out of place there... Thumbs Up!

  • @johnmagana3353

    Rule of thumb....don't wear black when working outdoors.

  • @chaunceypullman3380
    @chaunceypullman3380 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You 2 did a great job. But as for someone who has lived a long work life. You're wearing the wrong color n type of materials for working outside. Never wear dark clothing, especially black. If winter, black is perfect. It absorbs heat n keeps you warm. Any denim type is out as well. You're mobile n sweating. Clothe should be porus so air can get in and body heat escape. And as always. Drink your cold liquids and take breaks when in the direct sun. It ain't a race, it's cutting grass. Never seen a door prize for the person who finishes 1st n there is no 1 else competing.

    Yea heat stroke not fun i worked downtown san antonio river walk area walking all day cleaning the street doing the trash. Needless to say that was a job i let go. ❤ i dont know how they sur i e that job all summer long

  • @ruthstill169
    @ruthstill169 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    That mask wasn't helping the situation, as it restricts the airflow, collects pollen, grease, dust, and traps heat and humidity, and carbon dioxide.

      Yes, but all the things you mentioned are a dander to her lungs. Use cooling towels and hydrate.
