- Hey everyone! Today I mowing, edging, and trimming a property that was neglected on purpose! The occupants are renters and the Landlord has been ignoring the repairs that are needed to keep the property safe and functional. The tenant has decided to find a new place for him and his seventeen month old son. In the mean time the lawn has been getting overgrown.
I told him I would do the lawn for free, and even though he will be moving out soon he said yes since the neighbors would be appreciative if I cleaned it up for the neighborhood. Baby u should always wear gloves nd a face mask. Gloves for protecting ur hands nd the mask for protecting ur lungs bcuz u never no what debris is on the grass or in the trees. Just protect urself bcuz GOD gave u 1 body and u gotta protect it no matter what. U enjoy ur days nd nights nd always give GOD praise for putting in other peoples lives. GOD BLESS U YOUNG MAN.

I know it takes more effort and probably costs them some money but I also love it too when they pick up the grass clippings. Some of the TH-camrs never do and the grass also looks sloppy. Plus with all those big clumps of cut grass you know the homeowner still isn’t going to be able to really cut it with a walk behind mower….

You might think about keeping all your equipment locked when not using it, also your truck. Some other lawn guys have had items stolen off their trucks/trailers.
Yeah I agree. Do you watch Al Bladez? He even got the thief caught on his camera casually walk-in up to his truck and walking right away with his weed whacker. That’s ballzy man

And I found out that Drake Lawn Care along with Lawn. Bae in Atlanta, had their entire trailer and equipment stolen six months ago!

You should chek with code enforcement for violation properties and families or elderly that have fallen on tough times. They normally have a list. 😉
In Florida, it is actually better to leave your lawn clippings rather than take them away because of the sandy soil

What's amazing is that you are only showing a portion of the day here: the prep time for the truck, tires/air, tools, gas, string, water, extra clothes/shoes, chainsaw, etc. And then what's involved when hauling all of that away. You're doing this alone, too. It's an ENORMOUS task. But the truth is that what you see on video is just the "exciting" part of the day! 😳

Hi I'm new to your videos and i'm enjoying them.. Couple of pointers. 1. Beginning of videos introduce your self, where you're from and how long you have been doing this. 2. When editing explain (a little) about what's happening. 3. At end say goodbye in some way and see you again. I also love you take away the grass and clippings..Biggest thing I love is you don't massacre the palm trees. I hope this is helpful NOT CRITICAL. I do enjoy your transformations. Nice job, Brian! I saw one video, and immediately subscribed. I follow 10 landscapers, and they all are somewhat different in their methodology, and yours is great! One thing: Try to avoid blowing clippings on the street. If you’ve ever rode a motorcycle you’d know what I mean, and in some locals, there is an actual ordinance against it, but, forgetting that, it is just safer and neater. Thanks for the enjoyable video!

what is the hedge/privet called that has the red flowers growing in it please? the other video where the son had bought the house for his mother,it was about 7 ft and you cut it to about 3 ft,i think its the same bush type as in this one near the front door

Was watching another mowing channle and while the guy was mowing behhind a building he seen on another camera a guy walking down the street unhook one of his trimmers and walk away with it. He showed his added locks on his trailer
What a difference. They can now hold their heads up high when coming and going from their home. They fit right in with the neighborhood. Let's hope it inspires them to continue to improve their home. Sometimes all a person needs is to see the potential to encourage them to continue. Well done Sir.

You do great work,I especially like you rake and bag not all do that,what an amazing differences.Although he said the landlord did not fix anything doesn't mean he has to live like a pig,you can tell from the stuff throwed around outside that's not the land lords fault,my mom always told me it is no disgrace to be poor but it is to be dirty.

Wow what a difference you made 🎉. I appreciate you trimming the trees and bushes it really does make everything look neat and clean.
Not everyone trims in the yards and it doesn't look professional in my opinion or pleasant to look at because plants, trees and bushes are a big part of how a person's yard looks in my opinion.
I understand they are renting but I still think it's best to take pride in where you live at. I understand not everyone enjoys yardwork but it's shocking to me the level of out of control people tolerate😳.
Also it invites bugs, snakes, all kinds of creatures to the yard. I was also thinking dang look at all the shoes just outside, chairs from the kitchen it looks like and just crap everywhere 😬😕. I just don't get it but everyone has their own opinions on how they live and their Yard appearance. I just couldn't stand the chaos and unkept appearance.

It is sad some owners rent, want the most money in their pockets, and not upkeep like they should. It is not a bad looking house and yard (sheets over the windows and sliding door, should be furnished by owner). I do not blame the renters moving, and not keeping the yard up. It looks very nice all the work you did! (The sidewalks, walkway, and driveway are in good condition.)
I'll never understand why landlords don't repair items for their renters! it would be so much simpler to keep the renter happy...
There're tax advantages when they sell. I don't get it either.

He is already evicted, I am sure, they have so many days to get out, if all those items are broken that he mentioned but when he added black mold, he would had already been out the door, not in the 3 or 4 weeks he mentioned. He is slick and taking advantage of the situation.
That is really messed up the landlord won't fix up the property down don't make any sense to me but I'm glad the guy is moving out and I'm glad that the my alarm service he's my alarm for this neighborhood Play ain't no Good and protector and good luck to that God I hope you find another property to live in😊😊😊

The tenant should put a Big sign on the front lawn that the owner refuses to fix the house so that’s why the lawn looks this way.. But I bet there is more to the story.. they don’t look very clean if you ask me but everyone lives in different situations. Who knows if he’s telling the truth

I think tenants are usually responsible for making repairs to things they break...or where they did not take care to avoid mold and mildew...I've been a landlord and heard this one loud and clear...just iMHO of course. You certainly did a great job on that cleanup...looks like a whole different place.
That sucks that family ended up having a slumlord. Probably someone who got it as inheritance and had no concept of it's value.
Slum lords are everywhere now. In Massachusetts, rental owners just leave heir properties to rot now, while the occupants wish their yards were as nice as those who own around them. Even in the nice areas of cities! Sad. And, it brings down property values all around it. It's f*cking disgusting.
