FYI- After listening to Dave Hayes a few times, I was concerned over a number of things he was teaching. On one of his programs he said he had never read the Old Testament scripture and felt no need to because God speaks very clearly to him through his dreams and visions. That was my “red flag” moment, for without studying all scripture, we open ourselves up to deception. Good and very much needed topic on tonight’s program, so thank you.

I agree, no where in the Bible does it talk about frequency's or manifesting ourselves in front of others lol. I encourage all disciples to please just read your Bibles. Also please don't pull verses for your own gain and point, yes the LORD can speak through dreams, but the Bible is a complete story and covenant first and foremost not a tool for you to prove your righteous power.

@Judy Horne I have listened to Dave a number of times, and I haven't heard him say that before other than the fact that he often relies on his dreams and visions for direction from God because that's how He often speaks to him. Would you deny that God speaks through dreams and visions?
      Job 33:15
He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they lie in their beds.
      Acts 22:17
“’In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

I just want to say thank you for being so gracious when you speak about these things, especially for people who are doing this... I used to be involved with some of these practices and teachings. I genuinely thought they were Christian practices. Eventually it caused me to shipwreck my faith and ended up walking away from the church. Thankfully the Lord opened my eyes and I was able to repent and stop. I ended up going through deliverance afterwards and one of the spirits that was cast out said it was a spirit of witchcraft which was a shock.
I'm so grateful that I heard orthodox teaching about the gospel. I'm so grateful to be part of a healthy church family! Before, I used to think I had to reach some greater level of spirituality and I didn't understand the grace of God and our need for mercy. It was exhausting trying to work my way to heaven. I'm so grateful for the word of God, that he has revealed himself through the Bible and has given us everything we need for life and godliness! I can now appreciate the everyday things in life and don't feel like I need to escape to another realm.
It's so wonderful to be free!
Thank you so much for having this discussion and I'm so grateful that you balance things so well. I was so afraid of the gifts of the spirit for a long time but your episodes on the gifts helped me to be open to the Holy Spirit and the gifts again. God bless you guys.

Control and manipulation are hallmarks of witchcraft in the church, at least in my experience - one does not have to be a member of a coven and casting spells. The mishandling of Scripture out of a need to control others and done so with a spirit that seeks to get its own way - even with God - is akin to witchcraft. I thank God that you are free and may He keep you free from strange fire as you work out whatever gifts He has given you.

Thank you for posting your testimony. It was a great encouragement to me because I have gone through a lot of the same things though not to the extent that you have. I would get panic attacks when I would see people speaking in tongues or getting "slain in the spirit" when I was young. I left it all and just lived my life free from church, but the Holy Spirit had a different plan for my life. I've been on a truth quest for a few years now and testimonies like yours really encourage me. I have finally found the peace that I am saved by God's grace through the faith that He gives me. Over many years of Pentecostal, Charismatic and liturgical church life and being a licensed Pentecostal minister myself, I really appreciate finding you guys and watching some of these vids on bizarre and unbalanced Charismatic/Pentecostal man-centered teaching. It is refreshing to hear this from tongues talking, Spirit-baptized church leaders not cessationist cynics. Recently, I have been asking the Lord to help me to discern seducing spirits and doctrines of demons to guard my heart and know Him in truth. Your sharing is helping, and I appreciate your meekness and respectful disagreeing as you bring the Word and corrective balance to these ministers' teachings.

Crazy how God's grace can still work through heresy, though. I was listening to Kat Kerr when I had yet not chosen to give my life to Jesus. Her stories really woke up that yearning for heaven and that I didn't want to be in hell. I gave my life to Jesus for these reasons also. I realize more now that God can use anyone, and many unconventional things. For example, some horror films include bible passages at some points, which can speak to someone. But that doesn't change the fact that they are not healthy or should be watched. Likewise, I believe the same re some of these very well-known people, with huge public platforms and a very wide audience. It's very, very concerning. It's as if the bible just doesn't have the same value any more, as if too much is focussed on spiritual experiences etc. But the Holy Spirit and the Word of God always agree. That's why we are supposed to test everything. But are they willing to listen?

A close family member asks me each time we talk, 'what prophetic voices are you listening to?' I tell him Daniel, Jerimiah, Isaiah, John, Jesus. The conversation then quickly turns to the Kansas City Five, Julie Green, Kenneth Copeland, and of course the pope of the prophetic: Kat Kerr. I am desperately trying to point out that many of these are heretical. The worst issue comes from Kat Kerr teaching that unrepentant people get a second chance to accept Jesus at the moment of death if they were generous or nice people. Especially if they were orthodox Jews, Jesus makes a final appeal to each of them in person if someone prayed for them at any time. Last time we spoke I simply challenged him that Kat Kerr is teaching another Gospel. This is what I am facing, Kat Kerr and her colorful descriptions of Heaven are silently dividing my family. Candyland afterlife is bad enough, seven mountain mandate is worse but last chance Jesus after you die is devastating to the Kingdom of God. Thank you for covering this, I will encourage you to speak more strongly against these false prophets. I will as well. Peace Brothers.

What is stated is that, "it is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgment." Heb. 9:27-28. I think that's pretty definitive on hell NOT being a place of purification. Thank you for this conversation. So helpful. Over the past several years, I've been processing my spiritual walk and various spiritual encounters I've had over the years and seeking discernment.... What was from God...what wasn't? I truly don't want anything that isn't truly GOD as displayed through His only divine Son Jesus/Yeshuah. This conversation has really helped. I've been close to simply ditching all the "supernatural"...and with them all any direct Holy Spirit activities. I determined that I would rather have only the BIBLE and all it contains without ever feeling anything again emotionally or feeling anything from the "Spirit". I do think coming to this point is important...to decide that if I never FEEL anything again...the Bible and knowing the true GOD of the Bible is enough. But this conversation has shown that there can be the charismatic with rational thought that is grounded in contextual Bible interpretation. Thanks so much!

It’s very tied to the twin flame community which is a huge niche of the new age community, which is how I was sucked in. So many crazy experiences I had I thought was from God & I was so very very wrong. I cried out to God in the deepest pain I’ve ever felt & he answered me & opened my eyes & not so gently yanked me out of that. I used to work as a mental health nurse on an Acute psychiatric ward
where people are admitted in a state of crisis, in the worst state. I don't know Kat Kerr personally, but I'm not entirely convinced that she is mentally ill, unless she frequently experiences something like LSD 'flashbacks' which can affect a person even 10 years after using LSD. I believe 'Magic Mushrooms' and other substances have a similar effect, even Heroin sometimes. I nursed several people on that ward who had Drug Induced Psychosis, but it was usually short-lived. But some remained vulnerable to even using Cannabis occasionally. All were advised to stop altogether, whatever the substance used. I wonder if there may be an element of someone having a very vivid imagination here, coupled with good story-telling ability, and very savvy business sense. Someone like that could spot the ignorance of the undiscerning 'christian' masses, then take advantage of it - and profit. And, of course, we can't rule out the possibility that some of these people may in fact be genuine wolves in sheep's clothing... After all, our spiritual enemy doesn't always appear as a red sinister figure, with horns and cloven hooves... Sometimes he appears as the sweet lady who describes incredible, fantastical visions etc. Reminds me of a certain 'minister' who described an 'Angel' called 'Emma', who appeared in one of his meetings, and another (a tall male bare-chested 'angel') wearing white ballet tights and Ali Baba shoes, who turned up in a bathroom one night!

She plants so many visuals in order to insert the power of suggestion throughout a person’s life. Pretty scary looking at it that way. (Many errant pastors/speakers seem to incorporate power of suggestion techniques into their presentations.) It would seem to follow it would help many Christians to know what these techniques are. Since learning a few of them, it has completely changed how I listen and evaluate pastors/leaders. A couple I was following, I had to walk away from once I saw it. So many have not matured in their knowledge and faith, so easy to fall for so much. I know I will refer to scripture and explain why I like it. They stay out of defensive mode and I am planting a seed with scripture and how it has impacted me. Then pray for the Holy Spirit to open their eyes.

Listening to the Kat Kerr portion reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. In all seriousness, I think that there is also something to be said of the different types of bible literature. Besides the cultural and historical context, not all parts are meant to be taken literally. The people of that day that saw visions and had dreams were just trying to describing certain things as best as they could. There is also a lot of poetry in the bible. People misinterpreting the type of literature can lead to incorrect theology as well.

As a Christian, when you are told to do something by God, then it is His will that you do it at that time that He gave permission for it. I don't think it is then constantly open to us, unless He claims it so. For so long, the Church thinks they have the right to do whatever is in the scriptures, then wonder why things don't work the way they think it should. My life has demonstrated that God is involved in everything He asks me to do. If He is not giving permission it is not happening, even if I use all the right words. We seem to forget the component of His expressed permission. He is to be involved in everything or it does not happen! His choice and His will not mine!

At 50:42 in the video "Angles don't have wings"! Are Seraphim and Cherubim considered angels? Because they have wings according to: Isaiah 6:2 "Seraphim were standing above Him, each one had 6 wings......." and Ezekiel 1:6,8,9,11. "had... four wings", "their wings were touching"....
I am very happy to have found your channel, Ruslan KD - God Bless Studios referred his listeners to you in one of his videos. I've only been subscribed to your channel for a few days but I am starting to get a big respect for your teachings and your willingness to take on controversial issues. I was raised attending a Pentecostal church and attended charismatic churches for 20 years of my adult life. But I really began to question some of its some of the teachings, so I just stopped attending church altogether and began to look for the truth on my own. I looked at all the teachings against Pentecostalism and charismatic churches mostly from the SBC Baptist churches. And now I've come full circle back to the teachings that I started to reject from the charismatics. It's been a long and frustrating journey and I'm still on it, but I thank God for channels like yours that are also seeking truth. I'm starting to become less cynical and bitter towards the organized church of any denomination, but I still have my guard up whenever I hear anyone teaching from the Bible. I believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, but let's face it people can twist the Scriptures and string together heretical teachings to fit their own agendas and have been doing so for centuries. So, thank you for what you guys do I really appreciate your guys approach to the Word of God as well as the calm intellectual word-based conversations you have with even those who disagree with your beliefs. I look forward to listening to more of your videos to help me in my quest for THE TRUTH of God's word.

I've read a fiction book series regarding guardian angels and by the end of the series I was turned off by the suggestion to seek out our angels and their names. It's downright off-putting. Our focus turns from pursuing God to pursuing lesser. My former best friend has in the past, without success, encouraged me to ask what my angels' names are. These ideas lack purpose, are unimportant, and unnecessary in our relationship with the Lord. They lead us astray to follow after "another". I am gravely disturbed that these teachings and "methods" have infiltrated the church. I am extremely grateful to you men and your exposure of dangerous doctrines. I appreciate the work you do. 🙏🏻

    • @thorodinson2017

We definitely shouldn't shouldn't be seeking angels to find out stuff. But I do believe God will send angels to protect you or whatever it is God sends them to do.
My step dad and sister got in a bad wreck. I my step dad was unresponsive and it was not good. My sister said she knew he was dead. She got out of the vehicle and a lady came from no where and said, "I came as soon as I heard about your wreck." No houses in the area and no one had stopped. My sister was freaking out on the person in the other vehicle, bc they pulled in front of them. She said she looked back and the lady was leaned in car over my step dad. When my sister went back, my step dad was awake and responsive. After that other people stopped and that lady just kinda disappeared. My sister couldn't find her.
All that to say, God definitely uses angels but not in the way these people try to use it.

I write fantasy fiction. I often use the technique of picturing myself in a character's skin, seeing a scene through their eyes in as vivid detail as possible... but I know the whole time that it's just my imagination and something I've made up. It's scary and sad that some of these people don't know the difference. Listening to Kat Kerr was a bad moment to have a mouthful of coffee and gave me the best laugh I've had all day. It's a pity someone hasn't steered her into writing children's fiction, as what she's imagined in that clip would be fantastic in that context - Enid Blyton meets C.S. Lewis meets Beatrix Potter. But as actual revelation about what heaven's like? NOPE.

Hi! My sister and mom listen to Elijah Streams and they have sent me vids of different guests he has, but the first time they sent me Kat Kerr I was dumbfounded that they even gave a listen to her teaching. She says you can dispatch your angels that are assigned to you and the more you dispatch them the more angels you are given. She says she has tens of thousands. My sister prays in this manner. They have recently been very consumed with youtube prophets like Amanda Grace and Sheila Holms and are very into Robert Henderson and soul ties and generational curses. Along with conspiracy theories. Sadly after I mentioned to them I didn't listen to any of their videos they sent and I didn't share their beliefs it was an all out confrontation. It got very bad. We thankfully made amends but it's starting to happen all over again. What's some guidance on dealing with family members subscribing to these doctrines? Thanks for your vids very informative 👍

I stopped listening to Elijah list completely. I have always tested high in gift of prophecy but never had an avenue to grow that gift. Almost all the guests they have had on there do leave me concerned since there seems to be such a promotion of New Age philosophies being promoted. Kay Kerr is definitely the most colorful of the bunch. Real prophecy does not promote new age teachings or manipulating the world around us but points to Christ. It concerns me even more that Steve has never once addressed those in the ministry who have concerns. Disturbing all around since he is avoiding accountability.

If the believe the Bible and it's not something the Bible says then it's not true. Just keep praying God to reveal them in the truth. Arguing won't help but I think if you have them search the bible themselves, it may help when it's not there.

I'm honestly a bit puzzled by how you take "doctrine of demons" to apply. I've always read that as: "doctrines delivered by demons". Doctrines that in some capacity distract from the word of god and as such obviously are to be avoided. I've never taken that to mean: "doctrines that demonize". Not that a sufficiently bad doctrine held strongly enough couln't be gateway for demonization but I never saw a direct correlation. But I do think one can follow a wrong/demonic teaching and still be well within orthodoxy and salvation. Forbidding to marry I think is something that led among other things to the establishment of a clergy class, taking away the direct access to god that the lay people had. In such its clearly demonic but I would never assume that every catholic priest who is holding to the celibacy is demonized.

What does he mean by greater things? Could it mean that we can travel to the third heaven and open portals? Probably not. So what does He mean by greater things?
12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Think about Jesus’s ministry here on earth. It was 3 years long and had a limited location. After He ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit, by the works of his disciples (and even us today) the saving Word is spread across the entire world to all different people of different languages and cultures. In Acts 2 Peter preaches and 3,000 people were saved! We are now Gods tools to spread the Gospel and souls are saved because of this great commission. This is the greater works he’s talking about. We will never do a greater work than Jesus in the terms of power, because Jesus’s greatest work is forgiving sins. Costi Hinn has a video where he explains it nicely.

Would you tell someone who has cancer not to go through chemo because it might be harmful? Chemo is devastating to a person's body, but it can kill cancer cells. That decision is up to that individual. And I have heard many believers going through chemo to ask for prayer that the side effects would be mild as the chemo destroys the cancer cells in their body.

Wow this man talks about the same thing about spirit traveling, vibration and frequency that my previous church teaches.

perhaps a relevant question would be, why? Why is it that charismatic churches produce this kind of fruit, constantly?

Because we are typically the ones who live based on emotion/feelings and not the word of God.

I have certainly seen this tendency toward emotionalism in charismatics. For some (not all), it's like a craving that overrules all else. That gives rise to another question: Why isn't salvation in Christ enough? We would think that reconciliation with God and sanctification by the Spirit would thrill our souls sufficiently!
Paul said that his goal was to know Christ, the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering. Peter said we have all we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Jesus.

@@thetygerpulpitwithpastorglenn Well many times what I see is that many of them are just very very passionate for God and they do believe salvation is enough but they allow their zeal to be without knowledge. They get very passionate and emotional and it leads them to saying things that are unbiblical or they will a lot of times say things that are correct but they use verses that doesn’t mean what they are saying.

Long after the fact (just found this particular group of videos...great stuff, by the way). BUT. Having been married to two practicing witches in my pre-Christ days, this idea that Wicca and such have changed their tone about not using dark magic, or evil power, and such is not exactly correct. Even back in the 1980's, there was a distinction between what they call White Magic, Grey Magic, and Black Magic. White was used for good, Grey could go either way, and Black is self-explanatory. The distinction was primarily about intent during the use of it. So, I would say nothing has changed other than the way they articulate it now. They are simply couching their arguments using the science of the day to take away the stigma of what it actually is.

I watched a TV program about Wicca in the UK, and it's founder, Gerald Gardner. In it it was clearly stated and demonstrated that Wiccans sometimes use Voodoo in order to cast bad spells. It's an old documentary, but interesting. I don't believe for one moment that Wicca is harmless.

Our personal experiences are not Doctrine and/or theology, the verse that was mentioned - 1 Corinthians 4:6 (Amplified Bible) 6 Now I have applied these things [that is, the analogies about factions] to myself and Apollos for your benefit, believers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written [in Scripture], so that none of you will become arrogant and boast in favor of one [minister or teacher] against the other.

I love what you do! May I make a couple of suggestions though? For example, not using theological terms (egalitarianism, etc) without explaining what they mean? And also, not to put such lengthy clips on which are fill of false teaching (e.g., The clips are just too long & probably lose some people). Plus, personally, I would like to hear the major points & hear your input, because I really value your input.

New Age doctrines often refer to science when they mention vibrations and energies, but very rarely do they mention them in contexts where those could (even in theory) be measured in nanometers and joules. This video was only the second time in my life where there was even an attempt to fit the "higher vibrations" into the electromagnetic spectrum.
The reason for this is also easy to understand, as their explanations of such vibrations do not work in science. The vibrations and energies are supposed to enter, and therefore interact, with physical world, but there is no way they could manifest themselves physically as they allegedly do.
The "higher vibrations", be they ultraviolet, X-rays, or whatever, are not as invisible as they are told to be. Atoms radiate visible light together with invisible rays, and even if there were a physically perceptible (but non-atomic?) apparition that emanates invisible rays only, the radiation would cause physically observable side-effects, like fluorescence, Compton scattering, excitations in camera sensors, ozone production, you name it. You cannot hide yourself just by turning your colour into ultraviolet.
Another aspect which the New Agers never mention is description of how the nonphysical entities manipulate physical substances, even though that would be the scientifically hottest topic of them all.

I mean, demons do interact with the real world. Poltergeist activity is very real. How you'd measure that scientifically? No clue, but the spirit world can very much interact with this world.

Good job we have checks and balances. People who have discernment need to listen. Otherwise satan will lure away.
