Batam looks absolutely stunning, and that hotel looks awesome! I'm glad that you filmed the part where you forgot the GoPro cases; it shows that anyone can make mistakes. The jetski edit was totally awesome! Awesome video!
The hotel was actually super nice! And glad you liked the jet ski part... we didn't really know what we were going to do after we realized that I forgot the GoPro cases, it was literally the only reason we went to that beach. We eventually came up with this idea and I think it turned out pretty well, lol

Batam actually one of the tourist gateway in Indonesia after Bali and Jakarta. Most of tourist who went to Batam are Singaporean.

I don't see other travel vloggers stepping their game up to this level of realism and capturing the raw emotion on your faces, which is what really conveys the moment. Quite moving to watch really. 😏
I don't think I could have said it any better myself! You really captured how difficult it was for us to jet ski while filming ourselves from the shore at the same time. Maybe we could make an upcoming tutorial video on how to do this?

When I was in Singapore a few months ago, I saw lots of advertising for Batam. I can see why since the island looks so amazing; another destination to add to my list. The jet ski section was just brilliant!

The island is such a short ferry from Singapore and things are generally much cheaper in Batam. It has some popular wakeboard parks and water sports in general seems pretty popular there. Glad you liked the jet ski recovery edit, lol

Batam looks beautiful guys! We've shot a few vlogs in Singapore on long stopovers but never got any further out than the city. Batam looks like a top spot if you've got more than a day between flights, we'll have to check it out next time. Also, loved the jet ski edit 😂

Batam looks like a nice place to get away to for a couple of days. Much like it grew to be a day trip break for the people of Singapore.
It was very clever of Matt to 'forget' the critical parts for the Go-Pro. Now you have an excuse to go back! 🤿
Hahah, definitely not clever! I felt pretty dumb at the time after we travelled half way across the island just to get the jet ski place and then couldn't actually film any of of it. But I think it in the end it worked out and added a bit of humour to the vlog :)
hehehe, yea, it turned out fine, but we definitely were very bummed we forgot the go-pros and didn't know what to do since it was quite a drive to get out there! but we still enjoyed our jet skiing!

mainland singapore. lol i just laugh at it. personally i don't mind getting the high tech from Singapore. but selling my island city to singapore kinda different story. anyway.
