Hotels in Indonesia Honest Review and Prices (Batam 2023 Update)

Here’s exactly how much we paid for our hotel stays while visiting Batam, Indonesia. We stayed in two budget hotels close to the Batam Centre ferry harbor - one had a full kitchenette and the other had a breakfast buffet included. A third hotel we stayed in was a beautiful resort in Nongsa. We couldn’t believe the prices, especially coming from the US.
NOTE: Please know that hotel prices are subject to change, but these were the prices that we personally paid.
Batam Indonesia is an island just 45 minutes away from Singapore by ferry and 1 1/2 hours away from Malaysia by ferry.

Lovely video! Can't help but notice the parrots in the batam view beach resort. The cockatoo look really sad :( do you know if they take it out of the cage?

We weren't at the area with the birds for very long, but I imagine they take them out to take care of them
