- I'm taking a large male Mississippi Coyote out of a MB550 trap and putting in a transport cage. No, I didn't kill this coyote!

I get no pleasure out of watching an animal suffer! We live in a global economy and as a result we are polluted with harmful invasive species. We should be able to make more humane solutions for dealing with native species! The extermination of the grey wolf allowed them to colonize and move east.
I don't like watching animals suffer either that's why I try to kill them humanely and quickly when hunting. When trapping I use the most humane traps available and modify them to where they cause the least about of discomfort to the animal.
You seem like a kindhearted man and my complaint is with those that have only one solution and that is killing by any means no matter how gruesome! Killing is only one simple solution to a more complex problem. Thank you for your humanity.

Keep your dog on its leash and your Glock on your hip and you won’t have to worry about losing your pet. Outdoor cats assume risk and are easy to replace. Coyotes can’t tell the difference between a roaming cat or an unsupervised Yorkshire and a rabbit or gopher. I won’t second guess a rancher or shepherd trying to feed me, but I would pay more at the market for my meat to cover their losses

Who the fuck cares where the coyotes came from the thing is that they're important to the ecosystem becuase they keep the rodent population down and releasing one at some person's farm would probally get the coyote killed.

My chickens, goats, sheep, calves, and pets don't need the coyotes tormenting them so in caring for my animals I trap coyotes to alleviate the problem.

I've got coyotes on my property that have been killing deer like crazy!!
Find a local trapper and invite him to trap them out. Coyotes and bobcats are about all that's worth trapping where I'm at.

And I can see needing to do it for certain reasons like if it’s attacking pets, Has rabies etc. But the people who go out of their way because they enjoy killing and seeing animals suffer are like baby serial killers.

As much as I love animals.. at the end of the day this is something that has to be done. I'm glad i don't have to do it. If there were no hunters (humane ones) and trappers and people doing pest OR predator control.. this world we live in would not be so comfortable. That's not good, coyotes already cause enough harm to farms that grow YOUR food and raise the livestock for your Big mac. If your vegan or something coyotes still kill off the plants! Farms would go out of business if they let the coyotes be. So killing them off would first help prevent them from cross breeding with a wolf and make more dangerous animals, and help farms make your food.

I catch for live market here in Arkansas I’ve loaded up hundreds of yotes but my catch pole is home made out of schedule 40,4 feet long works real well I loaded up a44 pound big male a week ago and wow was he pissed most of them gets pretty permissive after that cable gets around their neck
That's what this catch pole is 4 ft conduit. I've had it several years.

Mythical Wolf No it wouldn't be. Too much guess work as far as estimating the animal's weight to determine the correct dosage. Also need to have license in order to obtain certain drugs. Not really much trouble to do it the way I do.
I know it's hard to watch. It's hard for me to watch, because in my head it looks/barks like a Dog. And it's a scared animal. BUT, c'mon!! He live trapped and moved the animal. He could have just killed it! Personally, I get both sides. I have no problem with hunting/trapping, for food or money. It's 100% necessary to keep the population balanced and within the carrying capacity of the land. That's why they set limits and make laws. It's just hard for people to watch that aren't used to seeing what really happens in nature. This doesn't make him a sociopath for doing this! Everyone just chill and try to see the world thru each others eyes. Peace!

Coyotes kill just to kill yes they eat sometimes but most of the time they just want to kill. I got a heard of cows . Coyotes don't go after "cows" they go after the weak like calf's or older cows that can't keep up the heard. They will eat the ass end out first and leave the rest. I've seen them kill a calf and not even eat it. Just leave it there. So no I don't have no empathy for these damn creatures. Hopefully we do make them go extinct in the future.

There's no need to trap them like this. There are many other ways of decreasing their population like introducing a predator to hunt them or a top predator to knock them off the food chain. Brutally trapping them is not the only way.

You people can be upset all you want but these coyotes have huge populations. They destroy livestock and are even coming into cities and eating people's pets. I've seen coyotes eat cats on someone's front lawn. Now if I had a chance to catch a coyote puppy I would adopt it and raise it. They actually make nice pets. Very cool and intelligent animals. Same goes for fox's.

man sometimes I get so tired of the earth is flat mentality of anti hunters /anti trappers/anti gunners. PLEASE learn a little about why wildlife populations are controlled , habitat and food sources, the reasons for hunting limits, how much wild game affects your food prices in the stores and then tell me how inhumane we are .
wildlife biologists and fish and game officers will both tell you a balance must be kept for all species to thrive overall. for all your drama , there is presently more wildlife in this country than in the last 100 years . this is many do to limits and regulations recommended by hunters themselves in the 1930s and 40s and backed up by the govt . our licenses taxes on ammunition, fees for management area stamps etc all go to promoting increasing the numbers of wildlife. and they presently cover 75 to 80 present of wildlife habitat restoration and numbers while all other groups including peta , the aspca etc for all their claims only make up the other 20 percent combined. if you really want to help wildlife numbers stop current timber cutting practices of clear cutting and not replacing with new seedlings , that is detrimental to both wildlife and bad for the land as it creates runoff and other problems that will take a lot longer to recover from .
