@DailyDrivenExotics look up DP ENGINE PARTS they make the highest quality custom forged piston and forged rods they can even make custom sleeves they hold multiple world record fastest cars running dp pistons and rods I'm an ex employee and even though I quit I can guaranty they are the best if it's hp your looking for I'm pretty sure they can make something good for a few thousand hp
Love this content. The metal in the bottom of the engine is probably just lead from the gas. There are lead test swabs available for testing paint you could use to verify. No more leaded fuel unless you want to keep rebuilding the engine.
I really can't get over how not only does Mike have incredible driving skills but he then has enough knowledge to be like "never touched a ferrari engine before, imma rip apart a v12 and fix it". Mike and tim legit are the best addition to family. So cool that you guys can do the car stuff and Mike can keep us so entertained by the tech side of it.
Cars are like puzzles if you know the puzzle you can always put it back together if you have the ability but his ability to fix it all and make it all work is on another level
If you can take it apart without breaking it you can put it back together. Plus it's all on film if they get stuck just have to go back and watch the footage.
As someone who troubleshoots for a living, its fun watching Mike work his way through an issue. Take care of Mike, Tim and Mark. They are a content goldmine.
I love how Mike explains the physics of an engine. He can make the most mechanically inclined person understand how the mechanics of an engine works. He is a rockstar!!!
Ferrari, chevy, ford, Bugatti. Its all an engine. If youve done one. 98% are the same. Hes good. But went to his shop and grabbed an impact. He knows what he needs for the most part looking at it.

Mike is absolutely amazing!! What a huge asset to DDE! Also Tim is the perfect assistant with great work ethics. Last but not least, Mark behind the camera is top notch! AWESOME content gentleman! I can't wait to see the end result to this build!!
The worst thing about these vids with Mike, Tim & Mark are how short they are, and having to wait for the next episode 😩 Love these rebuild vids great job guys keep em coming!!🤘
I could listen to you talk about engines all day, loving this engine series, the amount of knowledge you just talk through is impressive, you can tell how natural and talented you are from how well you talk about the complex subject.
I love this series. Mike is so meticulous with his work and really good at explaining what he’s doing. Really enjoyed watching him troubleshoot certain challenges he had with getting the engine apart. The dude is top notch. I’m actually a little envious of Tim. To be Mikes apprentice is truly a gift.
It went better because Damon is at home more and getting A LOT more mommy daddy "time" as well as family time. It all makes a man feel better in so many ways!
Mike Essa I love your videos. You are our modern day MacGyver. Keep up the great work DDE! Love you all. Oh and Tim is a fan favorite as well. You oaks rock!
Great job, Mike and your crew for tearing apart the engine and figuring out what you might need to do. You guys are mad geniuses. Keep it going buddy definitely can’t wait to more videos on this build.🙂🤘🏻👌🏻
Dude no homo but I love mike essa he has brought a new light to this channel and it makes the builds that Dave and Damon are doing that much cooler because we get to see what actually went into making the car look and sound as good as they do and brings a whole new appreciation to the car TH-cam world that we needed
Really didn’t need to say “no homo” when giving a compliment to another man lol. Screams suppressed and closeted 😂. It wasn’t weird until you said something. Now I’m asking questions lol
I just love the way Mike talks about the car and the engine how he explains it all so even i can understand so much knowledge he has, More videoes of mike :) Can't wait to see the car.
Another great video from Mike! I’d really like to see the fabrication side of the F12 build with the new body kit and the interior. With all the machine shops in SoCal I wouldn’t think custom rods would be that big of a problem to get made.
Mike and Tim and Mark are incredible. I love how Mike can explain what’s happening as he’s proceeding through a tear down and and the mechanics of an engine and what can and can’t work. As well as helping us understand and gain more knowledge and appreciation for those who do this on a regular basis.
Yeah the click bait stuff is beginning to have effects of skip this onto something else. Lamborghini owner fanboy goes rouge this time for real. Favorite car says good bye..??!?!! But only for 10 minutes pet bird shits on the million dollar windshield 😊😅😅😅
Mike is so good. I geek out on his knowledge and ways to get things done. Some may not like these build videos, but I love them!!!! Keep it up. Oh, and Tim is so cool. I'd love to know what is going on in his head because it's a lot!
Morning coffee with Mike n Tim is a great way to start the day. What a great addition to the channel. Also so glad that Darren's home survived the fire, I live in WA and it's smoky now from wildfires.
I’ve always known of DDE but it was never really my style channel. I have to say, the last few months of content with mike and tim is something I really love to watch on both channels. The more technical side of these cars. Awesome shift in content.
Loving this technical content, it really helps you understand how hard is to finish the projects you guys do. Hat off to Mike hes a true pro. Love from Argentina
This build series is the best thing you guys have done to your channel... UT it needs to be longer... like a full hour... I watch every day and it's great...
Yes the rebuild of the awesome engine is going to take a lot of money, for sure, nothing CELSIUS can't handle.... and great job Mike, Tim and Mark for a very educational video.
Once again another Master Class with Mike and Tim... The Ferrari engine introspection and analysis is so intriguing. Really love the trippy suspenseful techno music in the background during the troubleshooting and scoping analysis... Music syncs with my brainwaves... Gonna use that music in the background when working on highly complex issues... Very cool !
Love these wrenching videos better than burnouts and car shows. Keep up the good work Mike post more videos I like watching the videos when I’m working out. Keep up the good work. 👍🏽

This stuff is excellent. I love watching these two guys. Mike is an amazing. Just digs in and is amazingly patient as he and Tim do the work. Crazy good content.
Other TH-cam channels have detailed build content like this but I’ve never watched them as they’re pretty daunting. The genius of Mike, and Tim is that that make this stuff so interesting, non nerdy and approachable to people that are new to this. Just amazing. Long live DDE ❤
DDE doesn’t just drive cars 😂 they way over power them, rev them on cold starts to the moon, then make them shoot flames which is an unsafe tune. That tune also kind destroys turbos. Good luck Mike!
Considering the turbo's had no guards, running it hot with a pop tune and not keeping up with regular oil changes I think you got pretty lucky. Block is still solid with good cams, and just need to change out the bearings and new pistons so far. Loving this build series, this is exactly what DDE is, drive them hard and we now get to watch them fix it.
Absolutely love the build series!!! Keep them coming!!! Mike and Tim are awesome!!!! I can't wait to watch the F12 get built up and then ripped around!!

Mike is a superb addition to the team. Tim too... so please take care of them. They are amazing at what they do. I hope they never leave DDE. I loved watching this episode.
As I said before…when you just have exposed turbos sticking out of the hood without filters then all the sand being kicked up on the street by cars in front of you is sucked into the turbo and forced into the engine almost sand blasting the inside of your cylinder walls and valve’s and so on…. The turbo’s do look cool without the filters but you will need to re fresh the motor more often and that’s way harder on a Ferrari V12 vrs say an LS…. Love the videos

ALL motors are relatively the same. Work on Mercedes, work on Ford.. same shit different name.
DDE is so lucky to have Mike and Tim. Love watching this kinda stuff. Hope Damon and Dave are doing okay in Canada too. 🙏

And there was no ocean avenue so it was really hard to film DDE videos at Monterey car week because they don't do car reviews
