Honestly, feels like it's worth getting both apps. Learn the basics with simply Piano and then Flowkey for learning actual songs and practicing. I might just start with Simply Piano and then find a local Piano teacher
The most important factor is how much effort you should put into each piece. Simply piano have a judging system that you do not need to be perfect on each piece to pass it.
Flowky for beginners is not really fun... Simply piano was for me pefect to start with. Simply piano is more like a game and so i like it more for start. The songs were also better for me. If you are getting better thank you can switch for harder songs and also more switch the fingers.
I don't think it is a matter of choosing just one. A typical beginner is probably best off with Simply Piano since it forces you to start with basics and work your way up. Then later on they can move to something like Flowkey for more advanced things.

thank you for helping me to decide.
I think I’ll go with Flowkey and see how it goes. Thanks for the video a well presented and straight to the point review👍👍
Good, clear explanation and comparison.
Very well presented thank you
Is mariage d’amour available on flowkey?
It is on simply piano.... in play.... simply piano has also a more advanced section in play...
Tempo control is missing from both apps 😢
Thank you so much for this video. I like the flow key interface but find simply piano easier.. probably because I am a novice
Very Nice!
Have you ever tried #softmozart?
Is there a way to use the apps with headphones?
Yes you can use both of these apps with headphones

I have flowkey and it’s good- it’s not geared for kids with the graphics- I don’t need the fluff good for adults
Thanks for this, it helped me to choose (went for FLowkey). Really nice review and the video is top notch 🙂
Hey how is it going with flowkey so far
yes, how is it going? I am deciding whether it is worth investing in Flowkey or not. Care to give me your opinion?
Great video but I had to play it in 1.5x speed
