    I am an “intermediate” level piano player and have been a member for 2 years. I have found Pianote lessons very helpful overall. It seems to be very good for beginners to intermediate level players. Lisa Witt is an extremely gifted piano teacher full of talent, enthusiasm, and overall presents lessons at a comfortable pace.

      Imagine me coming in here to check this out, only to find out I have a name-doppelganger who's already commented!!! 😮😄

    I’m enjoying it a lot! Annual membership is cheap! Like under $200. I’m using it with IPAD pro and Forscore using a Yamaha Electric and a Baldwin studio upright. Between pianos, IPADS, and such, Pianote is key to getting my time and money’s worth, you won’t be disappointed.

    Very good review. I have used Pianote for about 2 years and found it to be excellent. Lisa is such an enthusiastic and brilliant coach. You can choose lessons from many topics or just follow through the Method. The song lessons are great and come with full sheet music. Most are taught in both accompaniment mode (you or another to sing to) and also performance mode. Just a brilliant platform for all from beginner to intermediate and I highly recommend it.

      How much progress have you made. How long do you think it will take you to work through the entire program?

      @@K92834 Hi Haley, I was already playing Piano when I signed up but had never gone through a proper system of learning so a lot of the instruction at the start was very basic for me but still good to go through as some very good exercisers to do and provides clarification in certain areas. There is no doubt that if you follow a specific, instructional course, such as "The Method", then you will definitely reap reward in the future. It will take different amount of time for different people and for myself I haven't completed the whole program as I dip in and out as and when I need to. I just think that the whole process and structure is far better than anything I have seen online. I hope that helps.

      At the bottom of the Pianote home page is a "CONTACT US" link. Use that to ask the horse, itself.

    I personally find $ 240 yearly quite expensive. The review talks about around 100 songs only, but site talks about "hundreds" to explore. Now ... 200 can also be considered as "hundreds" but still I find that extremely limited then for the price. Because even if you consider this a good platform to learn... you might still be forking out money elsewhere to get to the songs you like to learn to play.
    I'm not convinced yet ... but good review in any case.

      @wilhelmpaulm ปีที่แล้ว +3

      the point is to learn how to play and read, once you're all set you can just grab sheet music online for free and work up slowly.

      when you've mastered the 200th song a little pot of gold appears, for you to buy more music... ;)

    Are the classical songs the easier simplified version or original. I’m looking for a platform that has the originals

    But how does the website/app knows if you played it correctly? Is there a built in sound recognition feature as in apps like flowkey, simply piano ?

    • @MusicianWaveOfficial
      @MusicianWaveOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There's no sound recognition feature on Pianote that I know of. Its main feature on how to get feedback on your playing is that there is a student review section where you can submit your video for review by a tutor to get feedback and tips for how to improve, but it's not real-time or instant feedback.

    I’ve been seriously considering pianote over the last few days ,,and I’ve just stumbled across this review.
    I am an absolute beginner when it comes down to the piano and I have always wanted to learn and play the piano for quite some time now.
    I have also been looking locally for private one-to-one lessons but they are very expensive at this moment in time.
    I’m glad you did this review and I’m also ever so glad in the fact that I have stumbled across it as it has now helped me in my decision in choosing pianote to help me on my way to playing piano!
    I’m going to use the 30 day free trial to begin with and take it from there and I then I will probably subscribe to pay monthly moving forward.
    Just like to thank you so much for your honest review and opinion in which Is very much appreciated!!! 🙏👍

    How this one compares to flowkey or simply piano?

    • @chopinlvr
      @chopinlvr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It doesn't........it's so much better!

    • @MusicianWaveOfficial

      It's a very different type of system and platforms like Pianote are better IMO compared to the casual app format of the flowkey/simply piano. For anyone the wants to compare, we've got a video on flowkey vs Simply Piano also: th-cam.com/video/_1jlwPRE4Lk/w-d-xo.html

      @@MusicianWaveOfficial Was trying to compare Pianote with Piano Marvel and the Playground session. What do you recommend between these apps? I'm not completely a beginner but I'd say almost to the intermediate level. I'm looking for a Piano lesson app that not only teaches you how to play the note but also teaches you to learn the theory & techniques.

    I think the cost of subscription to Pianote is extremely worthwhile. I took in-person guitar lessons and paid $170/month for over a year and didn't learn half as much as what I learned in online lessons. Wanted to actually read music and learn piano and reviewed various courses, and I recently subscribed to Pianote. Have to admit that ArtistWorks was a strong second choice. IMHO - definitely worth it. Big plus, I can switch over to the lessons on guitareo = big bang for my buck!

    They make it real difficult to find a month-by-month rate (if they even have one) or free 30 day membership. All their site funnels towards the annual membership.

    • @bdailey8065
      @bdailey8065 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The month by month rate is right above the annual membership rate on their website. I just signed up for the free 30 day trial using the link under this video. Their monthly rate is $29.99.

      I'll go via the link in this video, thanks.

    very fishy review 🤔 They gave you a free subscription for review but this was your first video, so why would they want your review?

    I was a member for a year or so. There were good things about it (I started in 2020). My main problem was the leading teacher and let me just stop at this (I just could not stand that person after a few months).
