I’ve owned the Helix Plus for about 18 months now and really like it. I am a big guy so that is why I chose this one. It is just the right amount of firmness for me and I usually get a good nights sleep on it. I admit, I was skeptical of getting a “bed in a box” but 18 months later it is still just as comfortable. I would definitely recommend this mattress and would buy it again.

Is it still holding up. I'm doing the 100 night trial but I am seeing more and more actual user reviewers who say it is sagging and they are getting lots of back pain from it but helix is refusing to help saying it is cosmetic and is making me nervous.

@@muntaybun7690 yes, it’s still holding up. I’m 2 years in now and so far it’s just as firm and comfortable as it was when I purchased it. I’m quite surprised actually but I admit I’ve got zero regrets. Note: Now the cover that goes over the actual mattress is losing its shape. But the actual mattress is doing just fine. It might need a wash to shrink back to original shape

@@orlandos2000 I’m only 175 pounds but I might get this one because their medium is ranged 5-6 and their firm is ranged 8-9. I like 7-7.5, which is what the plus is rated as

@@Phuong_Nguyen_ considering your weight, this one may be a bit more on the firmer side since it’s made for people who are heavier. Otherwise it is a fantastic mattress.

@@orlandos2000 perhaps I should get one of their medium models

The amount of research that The Sleep Foundation does on mattresses is extremely impressive. While the Helix wouldn't be a mattress for our family due to the firmness, this video was still helpful to narrow down other options for mattresses.

Most people do not know what they are sleeping on and with a 20+ year old mattress, who knows what we are sleeping on. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on your mattresses.

I like how helix provides a quiz to help make the correct choice.

Can you use an adjustable base with this mattress?
