    The Golden Jackel is my dream ball. Unfortunately it is a heavy oil ball. I have settled on getting a Motiv Venom Shock Pearl. Its a ball that suits my needs right now. In the furure I can always get a stronger ball and use the Venom Shock Pearl as a spare ball. I would like to see Motiv make a modified Jackel model for medium to medium heavy lanes.

    Could the golden jackal be sanded and can it be used on dry lanes

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Assume those are 2 separate questions. Could it be sanded? Yes. Can it be used on dry lanes? Depends on the bowler. If you have a lower rev rate, more speed, or willing to get deep, yes it can. I would say medium conditions are probably where this ball will shine.

    What is the trick to use a heavy oil ball on a medium to medium heavy house shot? Does the bowler have to have an already fast ball speed? 16-20 mph? Or could a slower ball speed work? 12-14 mph.

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no absolutes. For example, if a ball is very strong surface and angular, a down and in bowler regardless of rev rate might be able to use a heavy oil ball on less oil. I see people using huge pieces all the time on medium to lower volume patterns simply because they either have a lower rev rate or have less axis rotation.

    Currently throwing the jackal ghost as pretty much my baseline and venom cobra as my “pearl”. I’ve been saving up for the scorn but this jackal really threw a wrench into my thinking because I LOVE the shape of my ghost and think it’s pretty long for a solid. Would you say that the gold is a stronger cobra? Because I’m kiiiinda seeing similarities. Really need to add a true pearl to my bag

    I’ve watched this a couple times and still so undecided. I throw the scorn and it’s pulled me away from my GT.. I do want something of an Arsenal to do as less possible physically and get my same reactions through equipment, I’ve heard this compliments the scorn but enough noticeably to purchase? Also with the new venom recoil coming out I’ve also thought that as a transition from the scorn. I guess what I’m confusing myself with is would these three be a solid arsenal (aside from my tank) - golden jackal, scorn, venom recoil ? If anyone could clarify, thanks

    Awesome review Tamer! Been waiting for this release for awhile, and I'm going to be adding it to my bag for sure. I just shot my first 300/800 with the ghost so it's only fitting :)
    How does this match up with the Timeless? Seems similar with the Timeless coming off the dry a bit harder.

      @@TamerBowling I got one more question before I buy my next ball if you don't mind. I'm looking for a step down from my Jackal Ghost so i thought Jackal gold immediately but is it a huge step down? Because I want something in between my timeless and ghost. I'm in between the Phase II and the Jackal Gold but I can't decide which one would fit the spot in my arsenal. Are both the Phase and Gold similar or am I far off?

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      DoughDuh phaze ii and good are also very different. If you are looking for a benchmark in between, I would say phaze ii. If ghost is close to a benchmark and you want a step down, then golden.

    So would you say that the Golden Jackal would be weaker than the villain scorn because of the smoothness?

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I don't consider the Golden weaker than the Scorn. Keep in mind that "weaker" equipment hooks more on lighter conditions because they store more energy and that's exactly what we saw here. So would say the Scorn is designed to be lesser ball.
