This video shows you how to install new spark plugs on your 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300. Spark is one of the four required components for an internal combustion engine to run. If your spark plugs are failing, worn, or dirty, you may experience rough starts, rough idle, poor performance, or poor mileage.

I just want to say, I’m glad you said “you don’t have to take the intake manifold off”. So many tutorials show that but it’s not necessary.
I can confirm that I replaced all 6 of my spark plugs with the manifold on yesterday. I even did the back 3 with the plastic engine cover on.

This is wrong for anyone watching this is only for 2000 & 2001 es300, the gen 3 es300 are years 97,98,99 which only have 3 coils in the front and the wire connects to the back side (1 coil per 2 cylinders)
