I have watched this video before, but I was very happy to watch it again! I love all the blue and white images-it would definitely be my choice of a color palette to use if I lived in a home on the water. I use a lot of blue in my own house, but I use other neutrals like off-white.

Blue and white is one of my favourite colour combinations too, and even though my style leans towards relaxed country, I do try to sneak a few decorative pieces in such as ginger jars and trinket boxes in this colour palette.

My absolute favourite style though I love the idea of mixing it with industrial as I find black and timber and metals breathtakingly lovely. I wonder if you could do a video(s) on the eclectic/maximist style… sometimes this style if the colours speak to each other can be gorgeous, especially with lots of greenery. I have to say your videos are one of my favourites to watch as your voice and background music is restful and calming and each frame of video is styled beautifully with the font, layout etc… truly you have an edge of professionalism that many TH-camr interior designers do not. You being in the background as the voice over works so much better than having to sit through videos watching the presenter talk wondering if you’ll ever get to see an example of the style they’re talking on and on and on about!

We like to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and they have a beautiful selection of Blues, as well as colour guides to create different looks and specific to different rooms xx

Soooo boring that everything is white or blue and white. After a while the sameness is mind-numbing. We know the ocean is blue, but no need to keep to such a narrow color palette because of that!

More like soothing. This looks lovely.
That's true. After watching several beach hours tours it can look about samey samey. This is a very modern aesthetic. I live in a small town on the Pacific West Coast. And here you'll find homes that are lived in, not just builder or designer houses meant for resale. These homes have lots of colour, various wood tones, with a distinct indoor/outdoor feel. This video focuses on a narrow design aesthetic. Nothing wrong with that, if that's your thing, but not reflective of all coastal design.
