GORGEOUS! This one had me dreaming of travel ... but also confused a bit. Every time I think I have my personal style figured out I fall in love with yet another design style. Your episodes are so beautifully presented and appealing - I need more houses to try them all! LOL!

Thank you for this video! We wanted our bedroom to have an island vibe without looking too campy. My husband wanted some “color” so we drew inspiration from the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Waikiki and got a pink headboard. Now I’m trying to incorporate other textures and colors from this palette. It’s so challenging!

Favorite!!! Hilton Head Island S.C. Was so identical to this magnificent style back in the late 80s & reeked of the beautiful scent of Tea Olive bushes in the breeze

Such lovely displays of warmth and love for Tropical living, on such a cold day here, of 34°. I'm a bit misplaced, as the seaside/ocean views and weather have always called my name. Thank you, Suzie! I don't have but in mentioning animal prints, I adore the wonderful wallpapers including monkeys and trees. Always at a high price, but easy to see why! This makes me Wish I were on "holiday". When and where shall we meet (?) with cabana boy bringing our coctails .. 🌞🍹🏖💚 Thanks for filling my day with happiness 😘!

Hi Bernadette, you are definitely right, there are a lot of similarities especially in terms of architecture, materials and furniture types. I would say one of the main differences is the colour palette as British Colonial tends to be on the darker side :) xx

There are no set 'rules' when it comes to design, it is about creating a harmonious + inspiring sanctuary that feels right to you, while drawing inspiration from the many design styles. For me, I have chosen to decorate my space in Relaxed Country, which is a blend of a few different design styles. I can definitely see both British Colonial and Island style influences looking fantastic in the home xx

It’s not gonna work in Florida I live in Florida there’s a lot of reason why it never work first to many mosquitoes.gator.fly.snakes.yellow fly will eat you up I was outside for a minute to bbq I have to go inside the yellow fly eat me up it’s rain almost every day cant really have outside cloth furniture they ruining with rain
This edition is somehow disapointing... Is this the same site , that used to inspire me before? Lots of ordinary furniture, displays like from a furniture store, lots of accidental or mismstched details.
