  • So here goes Heat Alternate Take 2. Initial observations will undoubtedly provoke opinions that believe my solos are more gibberish or mere doodling of sorts than anything musical. Though this just isn't true. Study reveals fundamental rudiments, tracable inspiration between phrases, logical transitions of those phrases, a personally selected vocabulary, and relevant interpretation of the space as the solo arches into it's final word. I'm posting a few alternate takes as proof to all these inherent qualities I've been developing for two decades now. (The beginning was a hot mess as you might imagine.) Originally inspired by improv jazz concepts I was taught way back when, coupled with the invention of the Mobile Beat (the corner-stone capability of the Universal Meter) this in turn allows for credibility constructing rhythmic melodies abound. This approach provides soloing musicians now with academic validity (as entirely transcribable with the Universal Meter and standard note values on standard music paper) when constructing rhythmic phrases that are neither directly related to the primary pulse nor any polyrhythmic relationship. Your ear is your anchor. Space is your vessel. The sky's the limit.
