I probably missed it but what happens to your boat when you board the other do you still get to keep it or is it lost?

It will wait for 10 minutes but you can build another in your base once you have the blueprint anyway. Essentially nothing is lost.
I havent tried to build a boat, i cant imagine its too expensive

Press Y to empty water distiller at any time. ALso when trying to capture a ship take out the driver before the last gunner and it wont run away, How did you disable your cannons while still using machine guns ?

You can setup weapon groups, its on the upper left, press 0. 1 is for machineguns, 2 is cannons and 6 is all. Thanks, i forgot you can collect the water at any point
