It looks interesting. I hope they have destroyed hulls and battleship hulls. I want to ride around in USS Montana.
why so many dislikes? was a good video. however the game looks rather "raw" right now. at this point i wouldn't spend any money for it. the physics i dislike the most from what i have seen
While the game looks interesting it is too early on in development to really be played. It is an MMO but doesn't have the required player base. They are burning out the players that would be hyped at launch and as such it will likely never get off the ground. That, and it is Gaijin, so we know it will be heavily monetized and p2w.

gaijin isn't really p2w. is it borderline killing it's own games from greed? yes, but not p2w! (1,5k hours War Thunder / 600 hours Enlisted / 300 hours Crossout)

If you buy the gold version of the game your crew have better stats automatically. How is that not p2w?

You can board and capture NPC ships, which is the only way to get superior ship hulls and a chance of obtaining its ship parts(superstructure/turret base, etc). I'd say that's pretty much the only endgame content of the game right now - to 'catch 'em all' and to build your dream ships.
I thought end game is to finish the tec but tbh I learned where to farm medallions

Hmmm, well I always love a good Naval Combat game. Although GUN FLEET (Which this reminds me of) and STEEL OCEAN came and went, so pardon my skepticism. Still Its Gaijin so it probably has SOME staying power behind it. Maybe I'll check it out.

Gaijin = big no. They publish good games but the monetisation is horrible. They tried to SELL there free to play en steam recently Enlisted
Le progression will be exponentially slower as you progres. I have 1 700+h on WT i know the pain

If you get the gold version, your crew automatically have better stats than someone who bought the regular or silver versions. How is that not p2w?
Some early skills are different. Later game it's all the same.
Because there is no large scale pvp but soon they will have pvp areas

Looks cool, but hard no. I already burned myself on Crossout (also published by Gaijin). It USED to be cool and creative, now you're target practice in PvP even if you dump 100s of hours into grind (rather than $$$).

I had the same idea: looks great. Publishes by Gaijn. Ehm... Played yesterday and today. Good so far. Maybe it helps that you have to buy the game first instead of being squeezed by grind and not-so-micro transactions.
Game looks great but Gaijin after all. they probably postponed P2W elements until they reach their expected game sales. As soon as steam sales slow down they gonna bring micotransactions.

I was confused too. You have to complete 1 quest for them and then you can talk to the door guard
I was interested until I saw Gaijin..... you just know it'll be p2w or Russian bias which kind of puts me off getting this game.
Enemies way OP on this game, I wanted to like it and you just get too many of the enemy at very start and you are just constantly fixing the boat instead of missions

What are you recommendations for boarding? I want to make a guide on it but I haven't found the most effective way to do it yet.
@Stealth17Gaming The best way is using cannons to target gunners, then machine guns mostly for the helms. Man, cannon is quicker only if the hull is good. I am currently using a teir 3 boat with teir 3 engines
@@timothyfulkerson6785 Thanks. I'm only at tier 2. Character is level 9. You get this massive XP batch early game and then it suddenly slows down. Is it worth farming tier 2 boats?
@Stealth17Gaming yes because I'm downgraded to a teir 2 boat just to test some stuff. I made my patrol boat all metal and added teir 3 fans, and it goes about 60 I'm using it due to its speed and turning capabilities

Team snail would never make a game pay to win would they... I'm afraid I have zero interest in MMO's these days. Can I just show up play the game do a little bit of resource gathering and enjoy the many features and systems of this game? They all end up the same grindy and boring. If you enjoy a game you'll commit your every waking second to it right?
