For a rug I suggest looking into Ruggables! They're rugs that come with a nonslip backing and you can remove the actual 'design' part of the rug from it and throw it in the washing machine!

It was a 5 day roadtrip from Texas to Idaho with my husband and cat for a military move! 😁 The hardest part is over, now we’re just waiting for our house to be finished sometime this month! i knew your doggy would love the bedroom :) perfect lighting for afternoon naps. Also, when i last moved, my dog loved having the mattress on the floor, they think its much better that way 😄

I always do our bedroom 1st when we move. Closets in the master bath etc., then I do my kitchen. You always want a place to lay your head regardless if you get anything else done. Good to get the main bathroom set up also. Getting ready to move for the LAST time very soon. We bought a farm and are moving out to our property. I can't wait!!!

Coffee tables are so so helpful 😊 also a rug would be good but maybe get a cover for it that can be put down when you are out and about?

For large towels I highly recommend a bath sheet from H&M. They're huge. I did a quick check and it looks like H&M Korea has them, they're 100cmx150cm. The weave is not quite like a plush towel so you should look at it and see if you like it but they come in other sizes too if you want matching towels!

Oh man!!!! I'd have loved living on Gwangalli!!!! I know there can be sooooo many people there, like during the firework festival, but man, having that view is amazing. It was one of my favorite beach towns when I lived near Busan

I like your guys new home. I have a suggestion for your bedroom. If you rotate your bed so the head portion is against that solid wall then you will have more walking space to your closet, and both your heads won't be right there under the window if there is a draft. Im a designer and thought the headboard would look better against the wall instead of covering your beautiful windows. I like your place congratulations ❤

I feel you on the rug situation. Our puppy is coming up on 7 months and while she’s mostly potty trained she does do things out of defiance once in a while. I also want to get a rug for our new place! So we plan on using one of those bissell “little green” type spot cleaners if a spot comes up. You might not want to waste the money on one, but we got ours used from a friend! So you never know! Just something to look into if you really want to get cozy with a rug but also have Cleo to worry about.

I love my Amazon washable rugs. I have them in all kinds of sizes. All but my biggest ones fit in my washer. The others work at a laundromat.
Love the new place! Idk if they have the olive and June brand press on nails in Korea but they are my go to here in the US. I save so much money and time using them instead of getting my nails done at the salon.

For the rug, I'd try putting down something easy to wash first, like a big beach towel or an inexpensive throw blanket. Just to see if it gets inappropriately used...

We had that problem with our dog , one remedy to work for us was crate training. We also stopped them from getting on the furniture because they need to know what belongs to you and what belongs to them so we actually put a bed in the bedroom and a bed in the living room for them or dogs also don’t go into the kitchen, and I guess it was us putting her into the crate and she never peed on the floor again and it doesn’t hurt that we put her toy in there and her pillow and she loves it that you’re the boss because dogs are pack animals by the way, you absolutely have the cutest apartment
Ahhh cleo loved her crate growing up! Once i brought her to korea I stopped using a crate though, but maybe i should think about introducing it back in! She used to always get so cozy in there voluntarily lol

I’ve seen many people use “kids” carpets since they are usually water proof, I believe cozyday uses one for their living room since they also have a dog❤

so glad that you are happy with your new home❤; about Cleo, why don’t you try placing a pad on part of the rug when you are leaving just so that if she gets the urge to do it she won’t be doing it directly on the rug(my dog had a similar problem but now she is used to being left alone for a longer period of time); almost forgot 👑🐾
