For your loft bed you might consider buying something like HyperVent it's to go under mattresses for air flow. Originally it was for boats but I know about the from a van lifer. Keeps moisture from building up underneath the mattress and keeps it cooler. With the humidity heat and Seoul during the summer I highly recommend it. Since I mostly use lamps for lighting I have remote control light bulbs. They usually come with a controller that changes the color and brightness. Both of these things are cheap and can be bought on Amazon.
I love these Korean apartment videos. Since I’ve never been to Korea, I can imagine a little what it would be like. I hope someone does apartments around the world or something, so I can get a look at the different styles of different apartments in different places. I liked Danny’s apartment videos too.
Also, a little tip - if red wine ever gets spilled again, quickly cover the stain in salt. It will soak it right up. We accidently smashed a full bottle of red wine on a carpet at uni and covered it in salt and it left no marks!
It's a fantastic apartment, especially the high ceilings and the large windows, I agree. I like the idea of a loft bedroom. It seems cozy and a safe place. It is beautiful and so efficient and functional. Thanks for the tour.
It was very fortunate that the place had furniture and you liked it. It really saves money. A perfect circumstance. A very considerate previous owner! A nice, renovated, modern, apartment close to the city. The loft is a special touch. On the minus side, I'm not a fan of the window design. Enjoy!
A girl I follow who lives in Korea actually had a stalker find her apartment bc he saw the outside of the building 😢 I hope you don’t have any problems!!! Very beautiful apartment❤️ maybe blur the outside of your apartment from now on 😊
exactly what im thinking every time i see one of these "apartment videos", I would probably be fine making a video like this, since i got placed out in the countryside, but never in a city
I live in a very unique place in Québec by the river and you can see my house in almost all my videos. If i had to hide it i couldn't make any videos at all, it would not make sense as i constantly move from inside to outside, my content cannot be made just sitting in a room. I have only 1680 subs and had 2 stalkers to date, i dealt with them. I get wanting to be safe but you can't live your life in fear and stop doing what you love because of maybe a disgruntled person out here. If they dare come in which has never happened they will be met with a 2' x 4' and a The Rock frying pan plus bear spray 😆
It was nice of Danny, David, and Juwon visiting you in your new place ! U got great deal for this apartment. In the US, u have to bring your own furniture and decorate your place from the scratch. How is the water pressure in the shower ? Usually here it is low when u move , and you have to call maintenance to fix it .
Nice apartment! I love how efficiently you can utilize the space and how most of the storage is out of sight. I suppose having a bed with a low ceiling isn’t the worst thing, since it kinda forces you to get out to do anything. It seems like you’re too tall for this apartment 😆
I appreciate you being so transparent about prices and how you made agreements and things, very interesting! (truthfully, i'm here for sims building inspo!) ps, the phone case slaaaps
A little tip about unused wine. Freeze the leftover wine in an ice tray. Whenever you need to make some sort of sauce, you can deglaze a pan you just cooked meat in with a couple of wine ice cubes.
@Anna Lee, you have the nicest apt I've seen from Korean vloggers. You lucked out on it being already furnished. It looks so warm & cozy. I never knew that about gifting tp when you visit a person's home for the first time. I usually gift wine or a plant. I love your fabric BTS poster, but shipping from Korea to Canada is insane!! Much love 💜, Bevie
Really like how you make use of space to maximise storage and avoid clutter especially in this type of officetel. Great find and quick set up -already looks lived-in. Loved the toilet paper welcome gift from the Nakd Seoul crew Anna 😄
I love the apartment, lucky to get a loft with high ceilings, especially in Seoul. I'm so happy for you Anna 😍. Interesting to see the apartment lifestyle in Korea, I would love to vist Korea and live that easy going lifestyle, it would be such an special experience 💖.
This is a really good walkthrough! You mentioned how you got it, how it looked like originally, how much you paid, where is where, what was there originally and what was bought after, everything I want in a video lol. No time wasted. Thumbs up! The table is really good! May I know what brand and model is the living room table? Good for working and eating and as a coffee table!
I lived in Ewha Univ. in 2009 and it's funny how your officetel is EXACTLY the same as mine in terms of layout and size. Brought back some memories. Some things to consider, make sure you get some sealant inserts for the windows as most of the windows leak a bit, which really impacts your heating and cooling bill. Sleep with earplugs and an eyemask if you can do it - it can get bright and loud. Lastly, it cost 10mm jeonse back then as well, and 1.3million Won, so definitely has dropped in price from 14 years ago. Enjoy!!
That is a very cheap price, I was paying 800 for a place in Seoul and it was smaller. But yeah the owner did a great job making it look like it did. Nice work finding that Anna.
That price for a place in Seoul, wich I enjoyed a lot, get me super jealous ! I'm currently looking to rent a place near the french Alpes (not even the best part) and prices are f'ing ridiculous. You don't even get something too that level of quality. What a gem !
Absolutely love your apartment, its so light and spacious 🤩 The price is really reasonable too and a good location! The toilet paper gifts made me laugh, I am 100% gifting some when I next go to a house warming in UK. They will be so shocked 😂 You must be delighted to have your own space!
It's cute, just enough for one person and you can see spaces are really optimized with clever hacks. The problem I would have is not able to go out. I'm used to stepping out into a garden and having all windows open, so this would feel claustrophobic. But then, I wouldn't live in the city either. I like being in nature too much.
Thanks for sharing your lovely, modern apartment. I admire the light, airy, bright aesthetic - it suits you. Classy neutrals and pops of bright color - the orange pillow. Congratulations on finding this place and making it yours. I like how your sleep area is separate from your "living area." That might help ease your sleeping - the low ceiling in the loft - keeping out computer and other distractions. Aside: the wine stain doesn't look that bad to me. Your visitors will probably be looking at each other or features of your apartment. Hope you have a fun trip to NY!
I’m gonna say that u got really lucky having this specially cuz everything was already there , so thank ur owner😂 , it’s such a nice place it isn’t too large n it feels like home , really cozy
Hi Anna, Your place looks great. The fact that all that furniture came with it is so worth the money. Love that coffee table. I was just going to tell you that lofts are hard bc you have to crawl around upstairs. (I lived in a loft studio in the college dorms, there was no kitchen and I had to share it with 1 roommate.) The natural lighting and big windows are amazing. So happy for you. Have fun in NY.
I am Korean, well Canadian Korean. My mom said, bringing a box of matches (not one match box or stick). It signifies good luck, just like how a fire spread. You wish good luck spreads like a fire.
Anna.. Love your new apartment.. It's soooo pretty and very organized.. I like all the colours and everything.. hope you are having a fun time there🏠 Love from SL 💜
Girl ur apartment is really nice and price is worth it , u radiate so much good energy, and I'm gonna just let u know that idk how but ur video really motivated me to focus on my goals and carrer so that I can live my life peacefully , currently I'm a student , I truly wanna buy my own apartment 🦋 ,
in europe you also don't wear shoes inside! (well in most think) especially here in the nordic countries. I have cops on speed dial if someone doesn't take off their shoes lol. I absolutely loved this video, that loft is like a dream of mine to have ❤ i love the tradition to bring toilet paper as a housewarming gift! That's so useful!!
So happy for you! Love the apartment. In comparison to NYC the deposit for the apartment is equivalent to a couple of months rent. You definitely are lucky that the owner has such great taste. You really saved alot of money not having to furnish the place. Hope you really enjoy your new place!
Nice place. I've been watching some of your older videos and absolutely love the one where you try to prank your grandma . What a wonderful grandma. Do you still play the violin, do concerts? Someone asked you earlier if you can sing and I watched you rehearse the Barber concerto and the answer is: Yes! You can sing and you have a beautiful voice. All the best from a cloudy and autumnal Sweden.
Thanks for the tour. Interesting that it is furnished and had some decorations, not a blank slate ... saves you spending a lot of money to furnish the apartment. And you having to buy a bed move it up the flight of stairs.
Nice, I've only been to Korea once and that was over 10 years ago. The place we stayed was nothing like this. It was shared though designed for temporary guests only.
Thank You for sharing your home with us. You have a very nice place. I’ve been to Korea years ago I do know how apartments are different then here in the USA. Must say I loved Korea and Korean food. Thanks Again
I pay $2700 for 1 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles and the cost of living here is outrageous. Gas is nearly 6 dollars food cost can vary each month $600. On top of that I have to deal with a couple upstairs it's like 2 behemoth hippos stomping the floor.
No but i was so blown away by the rent amount that i just couldn't concentrate on the rest of the video . I can't ever imagine earning so much money that i can blowaway more than 50000 inr on rent alone MONTHLY for a loft apartment(?) at that....wow
I'm checking AirBnBs in Seoul and they are HALF THE PRICE of Vancouver BC!!!!!!!!! That is so crazy to me! It's so affordable, like 2K a month. I think i'm gonna visit soon! i thought it was gonna be so pricey because it's another country. They are Downtown too! And some accept pets!!!! I'm moind blown!!! ✈👍
The coffee table / work station with storage space, you keep spare duvet etc.... careful not to spill your coffee or wine on the duvet while working!!😁🍷☕
your apartment is lovely & has a very stoic vibe which fits with your personality--the height between the ceiling and the bedroom area is the one thing that I would be worried about since I would KO myself when I wake up fast from my alarm if that was my situation tbh; hope you never have that happen to you at all
It is a very nice cozy apartment. I feel too that 30 mins or less from work is makes the most sense to optimize time for a normal life. I can’t get over the $7300 for a deposit. Which here in the US is usually 1 months rent deposit or sometimes 2 months. But I guess with the rents going up here for larger places $2000-4000. I think I need to save if I ever want to move.

Wow, Anna ! Great apartment. Very neat and beautiful. Love it 👍. You look great ,and you sound very excited and happy. Have many wonderful years living here.
I swear I saw multiple TH-camrs move to exactly this apartment style and I was so confused for a moment because it seemed like you all live in the same building 🤣
Congratulations Anna for your lovely apartment 🎉 it looks really nice and practical. I’m always wondering what sort of Mattress this is on the floor. It looks so comfortable. Is it a special one where you don’t need a bed frame? I live alone too and I love it. Enjoy it and I wish you many, many happy years at your new place 💕💕💕

Would you want to live in a loft apartment?? Any questions/suggestions are welcome :)
U are so beautiful
My dream !!!
Link the real estate agent that helped u get or the site please because they have done a great work for u ❤️
@Ordinary Traveler 1 year is totally possible. Unless that accounts for "long term" for you

Wine and plants are good too! But toilet paper has been a long standing tradition 😁
Anna is the cutest being to ever grace this planet

If I find out, I’ll let you know! But I’m sure you can Google ‘fold out coffee table’ and you’ll find similar options 👍
I'm so happy for you Anna and proud of you.
Anna really lucked out getting the place all already done up with furniture too. Looks amazing! That owner is a winner!
8:25 the bus stop portrait... IYKYK😅🥰💜💜 That made my heart melt seeing that 🥹🫠
Congrats to your new home Anna!! 😍❤🏠 Cool apartment tour, it looks so fresh and clean. Comfortable size for one person. 🤩🤩🤩

you could put an ikea kallax shelf at the wall beside the bed,it will give you tons of storage and would look nice... love your apartment its a vibe

I like, that the stairs to the loft really are staires and not just a ladder.

It's look spacious, the ceiling is awesome, the design of the bathroom is cool. I love the apartment :D
What a find! Beautiful apartment for a very low rent. In the U.S. this place would cost several times as much, even in a small city.
obsessed with that table
For that bright lamp, if possible, you could change it to a warm led lightbulb so you can use it
I didn't knew this actually existed i always plan every night for this apartment to make one i had soemore in my mindbut this is awesome!!
Thanks for the tour.

Nice, I've only been to Korea once and that was over 10 years ago. The place we stayed was nothing like this. It was shared though designed for temporary guests only.
That coffee table is amazing! I'm a sucker for inbuilt storage, I always need more than landlords provide so this is a great solution!
Thank You for sharing your home with us. You have a very nice place. I’ve been to Korea years ago I do know how apartments are different then here in the USA. Must say I loved Korea and Korean food. Thanks Again
Oh i loves your apartment. I have always been a sucker for these tiny cute houses. Hope you enjoy your days in there ❤️
I wish we had those kinds of apartments in America.
I pay $2700 for 1 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles and the cost of living here is outrageous. Gas is nearly 6 dollars food cost can vary each month $600. On top of that I have to deal with a couple upstairs it's like 2 behemoth hippos stomping the floor.

my dream is to go to Korea when im older my bff is korean and she was always supported me and making me dreams im so happy for my future and having a korean bff that is supportive with my dreams!:)
I really like your appartment, it looks very spacious the decor is very nice.
I like the vibe of such apartment videos.
I own a Tiny House and when i sit on my bed in the loft, my head brushes the center beam. I could easily live in this apartment. More space than I have now! 😄
Change bulbs to warmer light. Such a good deal!
Hi! I love your video but I’m kind of worried about how many Feng Shui you kind of ignored. Mirrors in front of mirror and doors bring bad luck and is a bad omen😭
Great apartment! Really cozy. Everything is so nice and neat. I absolutely love loft style flats. The only thing (which is not related to apartment itself) is that the camera kept shaking and I felt a bit dizzy coz of that. It was a bit uncomfy to watch. But I guess that's only my specific problem. That's why I don't play video games). Great flat, great content!
Love the new apartment! Congrats girl!! 💜
Love your new apartment so cute as it really seems like there is quite a bit of space
I might be going to Seoul with my cat in May LOL..... Thanks Anna!!!! ❤
How many sq meters? What area are you? Looks very functional. Love it.
when i say i want a apartment i dont mean a very expensive one this is what i mean, i love small houses
Congratulations on your new place! I heard that if you spill wine on your rug, to pour salt on it, cause it will soak up the wine & be easier to clean.
Congratulations Anna.
Your house is beautiful
In TH-cam I have the feeling that all people in Korea or Japan live alone, without family or children.
In all fairness, TH-cam mostly has just young people or people living there temporarily
Love how you can access your apartment without keys!
You can never have enough plants 🌱😌
Aaaaah this is my dream apartment I want the same !! 😭 Congratulations on moving in Anna, everything looks great !! 🤍
I love the apartment!! That rug looks like a US school bathroom tiles LOL
Lol the super bright lamp looks like it's hiding in shame.
This is like my dream apartment! And I am now suddenly so curious about your job too as I heard you mention them a few times and I love the BTS fabric poster!
I love this appartement. ❤ The prize is very good. 👍 But the 7000,- is crazy.
It's cute and functional for a single person, maybe for a couple if you like a mini house, but not for a family. It's nice but I would feel limited. I don't know if I could get used to it
Every happiness in your new home!! 💜
>60K INR bro that's expensive 😢❤
I am excited for you! Looks very comfy! Best of luck! Safe travels to NYC! Have fun!
Congratulations !!!! I love neutral colors too. I think your apartment is beautiful. Thank you for sharing
What a great deal, everything new and convenient. I love your house. I'll get one of those when I go back to Busan :)
I love your place and the rent seems very reasonable. You know if you put mirrors on the ceiling above your bed it will really open up the space 🤣
You settled in sooo fast!!! 👏🏽
Very nice apartment. I like the decor and how minimalist it is.
Very cool + warm at the same time 👌🏼
Congratulations Anna for your lovely apartment 🎉 it looks really nice and practical. I’m always wondering what sort of Mattress this is on the floor. It looks so comfortable. Is it a special one where you don’t need a bed frame? I live alone too and I love it. Enjoy it and I wish you many, many happy years at your new place 💕💕💕
Thank you! It’s just a queen size mattress, I don’t know what kind :p
