Thank you for showing all the options. I like most of these places for a variety of reasons. My top choice is the last one due to attractive neighbourhood and green views. Looking forward to finding out about your final decision...
Just wanted to share my gratitude for you to blur the face of the people in your videos! Usually even when their faces are close, the youtubers don’t blur their faces. And as someone who have a fear of being perceived that’s one of my nightmare to appear on internet without knowing it. So thank you!
Never have I ever ever had more respect for people who can live in tiny spaces like this. Never ever ever have I ever been so grateful to live in my 600 sqft 2 bedroom apartment in Minnesota, nor have I ever been more grateful to be moving to an apartment twice the size with another bedroom and bathroom. I feel very humbled.
i love the fact you're not talking but only filming and sharing with subtitles, that's cool. for the apt, I feel that the spaces are quite tiny for the price. i knew Seoul is pricey, but not that much, OMG. if I had to choose, I'll go for the last one :D
The roadway with all of the flowers looked like it was right out of a kdrama. it was so beautiful. Seoul is such a lovely place when you venture into the hidden little gems of the city. I cant believe how small some of the homes were. The view at some of them was so stunning though!!! what a hard decision.
I miss my last loft apartment in Korea. I was concerned at first about not being able to stand up either, but all I ever did in the loft was sit and read, or sleep, so it really wasn't an issue. All of my clothes were in the closets on the main floor so I changed there or in the bathroom after a shower. So I agree that a proper shower stall was a must!
omg thank you for making this video, I'm always wondering what type of options korea has and omg I never heard of co-living apartments but they are BEAUTIFUL
Apartment 11 was nice! I went through the same process when I was finding an apartment in Boston in the Back Bay neighborhood, and wow, it was so incredibly stressful, lol
Just today, TH-cam recommended this video to me. I also watched a few more from your channel. I love how relaxing and aesthetic your editing is! You and your boyfriend remind me a lot of my boyfriend and me, and it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. We’re also hunting for a new apartment, just in Innsbruck, Austria. I just wanted to mention it, as from what I watched in your videos, I think you’d love Innsbruck and Austrian Tirol. It looks like Miyazaki’s movies here. However, the rent game is on the next level here, so it’s nice to see the abundance of options that you have in Seoul. Oh, somehow, I feel that you chose either the 13th or something in the neighborhood of the 16th. Idk, I personally like the one with the bath as this is one of my criteria, but fridge is hell and it’s so smol, tho I loved the huge windows and the garden is so lovely 🥰 all the apartments are quite different from what we get here Greetings from Austria ⛰️
Hi!! Thank you so much for the sweetest message🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 A huge window and a nice view are also some of my top criteria! But It’s really hard to find a place we both like that also fits our budget🥲 I wonder what apartments in Austria look like! I bet they’re amazing, surrounded by such gorgeous nature😝 I’d love to visit someday for sure!
I really hope I was the first to comment this but I immediately clicked this video bc that thumbnail! it’s definitely the apartments that all of the contestants of superstar academy stayed in when they were in korea! that layout is so unique in memorable. It was apartment number 13! over all love the effort put into this video! ❤ all of the options are so beautiful as far as designs of apartments we have in the U.S.
It's funny that people seem to associate "old" with "bad" there. I thought that Rose village area was lovely and had 100x more character than any of the soulless high rise lofts.

Very visually attractive blog! I really appreciate your providing the addresses of some of the neighborhoods; I look forward to exploring some of them during my next visit. I also appreciate seeing the cafes and the fact that we got to see some of what they offer, including the food you purchased. You provided a lot of “buck” for the time spent - not just views of apartments but also neighborhoods, cafes, foods. 고맙습니다!
So lovely to see this especially when I am struggling to find one myself haha Can you please share about the co-living spaces? I only could look at the popular ones. Thank you!!
I swear - Korea and Japan and many other Asian countries have such a calm and aesthetically pleasing design and colors and materials in apartments and stores/cafes.
Loved this this was so fun to watch! Me and my now Korean husband (we weren't engaged when we went last year) stayed in one of those Korean apartment airbnb loft style too where the ceiling upstairs was also quite low. It is interesting why it's so low because it becomes hard to use that space for anything other than sleeping!
Any chance you can tell me what the background music is ? It’s IMMACULATE! 👌🏻👌🏻 This was on in my room n i was across the hall talking to my roommate n I had to come back in to hear the music ! *its excellent*
Hi I absolutely love the videos and style in which you record them! I am planning on doing some travel this year and want to emulate the similar style so I am wondering if you use log for the iphone footage and also where do you edit it? I have a a7iv which I was planning on using for vlogging but after watching your past couple videos, this seems much easier and looks amazing still! I will most likely use that for cinematic content and photography.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! Yeah, iPhone quality these days is 👌🏼👌🏼 I don't use Log when recording with my iPhone since the file size is too big, but I do use it for shots I plan to color grade later! And I edit my videos on Final Cut Pro😆

Ha this video was recommended on my page and it couldnt come at a perfect time. I might move from Hongdae to Seongsu for work and was also browsing online for apartment so seeing this video helped me get an idea of the places available.... ahaha renting in seoul got so expensive these days ㅠㅠ
@@nobrainernoam I’m happy for you. I’m from Switzerland so anywhere is cheaper than my hometown but considering the size of some places, it’s sometimes feels like a rip off. Like some places were reasonably priced 1/2 years ago but suddenly they all bumped their rent by 100/200$
Yes. They pay a deposit and then paying a monthly fee for the apartment to cover the HOA-related fees. They get the deposit back when they leave. It’s very expensive.
Why are the deposits so incredibly high? It’s more along the lines of a time payment to a house. 14,000. And do you get it back hence the word deposit?

btw I have to say that a reason as to why I am moving is the price, too, since you can definitely get something better for the price. But it's normal that a room in a shared flat costs around 600-1400 CHF, depending on the size of the room. I am so luck as to have found a nicely sized room near my university for the same price. Will get 19m2, a share kitchen, bathroom and the best part: a shared rooftop. I'm so exitedddddddd
If it were you, which apartment would you want to live in? 🥰🤔

Would’ve want to see apts from the rose village part but Apartment 7 caught my eye too much though not able to feel the heat yet there 😅
