[TAS][TFP] Dr Mario SNES Level 0 to 25 in 34min 50sec by Xiaopang

This is a tool-assisted speedrun (TAS) / tool-assisted flawless playthrough (TFP). It's the remake to my prior, less perfect run. I shaved off 7 minutes off the final time and corrected a lot of mistakes. Enjoy :)

My only gripe with this game is the repetitive gameplay. If only with each level there was a different technique needed to beat it other than just speed and accuracy. Like if the viruses all have different levels of immunity to be defeated. Stages could also change to represent different styles of gameplay

Well the colour of the pill we needed is rarer at later stage.
And l think it's what made it replay able for those who like it.

I'm the guy who recorded this TAS. You're spot on. Originally, I wanted to find out whether the game would become so fast to become unplayable, but thanks to the repetitiveness I stopped recording at lvl 25. I actually wanted to go to 100 when I started this project. Your ideas for improving the gameplay sound pretty awesome too.

I agree. I just started playing this since it's the only SNES game for Tetris and Dr. Mario. I thought the exact same thing. I came around to liking it, but intially thought it sounded horrible.
I do select Chill though. Fever sounds terrible hear. Especially with that squeaking rubber duck.
