Going in, I was initially disappointed by the lack of content additions, but I noticed there were a lot of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements in the patch notes. I think the latter might have been why content was a bit lacking. Hoping the game might become more stable enough to warrant content improvements in the future, though. The Maybach's addition was nice and it reminds me of Midnight Club and Tokyo Xtreme Racer giving players playable luxury sedans as well (like MC3's cover 300C or the TXR Toyota Aristo), and I'd love to see an Infiniti M45, Nissan Cima, or Nissan Laurel show up in a future update (Lexus vehicles are a big no solely because of Toyota's licensing thing; I don't think the "illegal street racing" thing was the actual reason as much as it was just licensing potentially being a bit much).

Forza horizon has spoiled us with car drops, I think. If we take into account all the other content and fixed (some of which admittedly should've been there at launch), the Maybach is a really interesting and welcome addition that you don't really see in other racing games. Though, yeah, hopefully future updates that are less bug fix-y will have 2 or 3 new cars.
Hi Hoki, nice video! Funny thing comes to mind when I see the MB Maybach S680 at 5:06. I'm an Automotive Mechatronics Engineer and I worked as a subcontractor for Mercedes-Benz on the W223 S-Class. Specifically, my team and I did the software updates required before shipping. It's actually pretty cool to see the top spec model in NfS now, I certainly didn't expect that ^^
I'm a single player ONLY game player, so I'm really hoping there is a ton of new single-player material... I'm starting up my game right now, super excited to see what new single-player stuff there is...🤞🤞🤞🤞

this update has the same vibe as mw2022 updates, just release a finished product and we'll be happy for the new content coming quicker than all the things that should've already been there.

I still think the open world challenges need leaderboards to help replayability and the MP pursuits should be harder and reward more money (both criticisms I made in the video) but aside from that, I'm quite happy with what we got. Everyone criticised the game at launch. EA (for once) decided to address the criticisms and they did a good job. The game is still flawed but it’s in a much more complete state now
My 2 biggest criticisms with this games MP were: 1. Lack of things to do 2. Grindy, low payout races. Now it'll at least be easier to build a fun car. And I like how as you were cruising it told you others reached heat Lvl 5. Oh and ofc the fact that cops are gonna be there. All these little things make a world of difference. Now you can actually connect more with the players in your world. I'd still like to see different kinds of events or even like a central hub/meet up where players can hangout and maybe start a cruise. But imo I don't see what all the hate is about. They clearly wanna see the game succeed which was more than we got with heat. The foundation lies a really good and fun game. We should be constructive but also appreciate what we got.
Yeah it's kinda sad how much hate this update is getting lol. Even articles online saying "too little too late". But games like battlefield finally fix their shit after like 2 years and everybody sucks em off.. Like no wonder EA just makes them jump onto the next title.. Everybody saying the shit sucks lol. I'm kinda bummed all the multiplayer content is PVP, I expected the first update to add some PVE stuff to do with friends like NFS Heat, but having to grind races against rammers, bad actors and salty people does nothing for me. While its an improvement, it isn't what I wanted.
Do you spawn back at the meet up after playlist races cause it was annoying to end up in the middle of nowhere after playlists finish. Like have us spawn back at the meetup spot right after the races to keep the momentum going, instead of driving...to the same spot.....again to start up another playlist. -Cops are great, but they seem like pushovers. They should be more threatening in races ex. have them killswitch you to slow you down or if you get busted you're DNF the rest of the playlist. Or IF your busted in said car you cant use it for a set amount of time. Idk just some ideas to mix things up
I have just 2 issues with this update. They didn't move the invite UI while building a car. And if they could allow me to see my opponents build, before and/or after the race. That would be amazing. Just a quick breakdown. Engine, and coloured icons to indicate what level of upgrade for each component would be fine. Or even just 0-60/quarter mile times or something.
Yea that would be awesome or if you could pan over to their cars and look at them while in the meetups would add so much to this like when in single player I feel like they should add the characters cars performance and parts too not that they’re hard to beat without those but just some nice details
Been on the fence to buying this or GT7, I always preferred NFS but I haven'tgotten into it since I was a teen. So, I'm glad to see someone give this game some good reviews rather than the excessive bashing from other youtubers
Man, they absolutely MUST figure out how to intergrade multi-man pursuits in singleplayer. Would help SOOO much with the atmosphere of the game if I could actually SEE AND HELP other rival racers in the game get out of cop chases as well as even them help me if a sort-of 'karma' system with other racers were to be introduced. Also, just watching other racers drive around the map would help in making it feel less static and boring as well and would probably cut down on the obsessive and annoying amounts of cops spawning everywhere as well.

No. A tip though, play and beat all of single player first. The cars you win in single player will also add copies of those cars in your garage for you to sell or build up in multiplayer. That way when you go online you’ll have a collection of cars to start out with that may or may not be locked behind completing challenges normally
Love this. I was hoping for some more new cars. The Fairlady X is just rehashed from the story and the lotus was already in the game. Did they do anything about the pop up invite menu covering your customization options if you are in your garage? That has always bugged the hell out of me as i couldn’t see what i was doing to my ride. Was also hoping to see some improvements to the overall car handling as it can be pretty bad and unpredictable.
I may just need to redownload unbound and try out online once this releases. I tried out online after beating the campaign and when I realized there wasn't a whole lot to do *and* I didn't even get to use my own cars I had already made *and on top of all that* payout felt pretty low I just decided I was done playing and moved onto something else. Hell I may get to have some fun fighting cops again like back in payback with the chase missions as Jess, maybe even try to recreate her car/character.

I do see in the patch notes... "Fixed a number of audio issues" and "Upped the volume of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI when using near and far cameras" so maybe? TBH I'm not sure if that was an issue I had pre-patch, but I can say car audio seemed at a good volume during the preview
@@MerrillDragonAge in the audio settings individually turn down everything except for car volume and effects volume. Have those 2 at 100. I noticed that the the effects volume slider also controls the car volume and the game will use whichever one is set lower as the basis
They did make some changes there! Here's a bit from the patch notes: "Improved the way collisions are handled, reducing the number of unreasonably violent collisions"

NFS Unbound Makes me sad. I love everything about the game except the driving. Cars feel like lawn mowers or entirely too fast. If the cars handled like heat it would be the best NFS since underground/ U2 imo.
Help me out!! Do u think I will like Unbound???? I've been a NFS fan since NFS Underground 2 (Best NFS Ever, btw). My favorite racing games allow for performance and visual customization as well as free roam (NFS Payback, Forza 4 & 5.) I found a deal on Unbound and wanna pull the trigger but I'm skeptical. I honestly hated NFS Heat. The gas to drift... don't even get me started... but I loved Payback when I know a lot of people didn't. Help me out people. DO u think I will like Unbound????

Lobby size is still too small, and you still can't drive around while matchmaking and trying to find a race.

I just finished this game yesterday and i hope they'll fix the crash physics
They did make some changes there! Here's a bit from the patch notes: "Improved the way collisions are handled, reducing the number of unreasonably violent collisions"

I hate when you touch the wall and you get crash even though your car literally still drives
Or just when touching the cars slightly caused you to crash
I wonder how it will change police though because you could take them down by just trading paint

Don't get me wrong i like the game and all but what about new stuff for people that liked to play offline now and then....... where is drag races? They lowered my regera's top speed and did not even fix that, to me this is stupid as hell i am done with nfs series.

I was extremely excited for this game to come out but now that I see it's super cartoony I'm super bummed and probably won't get it now

NFS Unbound Makes me sad. I love everything about the game except the driving. Cars feel like lawn mowers or entirely too fast. If the cars handled like heat it would be the best NFS since underground/ U2 imo.

I've been a NFS fan since NFS Underground 2 (Best NFS Ever, btw).
My favorite racing games allow for performance and visual customization as well as free roam (NFS Payback, Forza 4 & 5.) I found a deal on Unbound and wanna pull the trigger but I'm skeptical.
I honestly hated NFS Heat. The gas to drift... don't even get me started... but I loved Payback when I know a lot of people didn't.
Help me out people. DO u think I will like Unbound????

This turd is still a turd. I'm still in shock they blew up Ghost studios, ended Heat updates to make this disappointment. Slap in the face to long time NFS fans.

Well, this is underwhelming. For me at least, it's all online stuff. Unfortunately:
A. My internet is garbage (Fuck you T-Mobile)
B. I just don't like playing racing games online. (You can blame particular players for this.)
