Thank you! The object was to get the ship to Marathon to relax a bit this winter, without leaving a trail of disasters and dead bodies. I remember how easy it was to run north up that coast....just hang about 5 miles offshore and ride that Gulf Stream! This was definitely different!
Negative. In the US Navy, I served on: USS James Monroe (submarine) USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (aircraft carrier) USS Anzio (guided missile cruiser) Tautog is named after USS Tautog, SS 199 (Tambor class), with her impressive war record. She survived the war. There was another USS Tautog, and she was a nuclear boat of the Sturgeon class. And, I appreciate the comment. I am trying to get the next episode out tomorrow.
Great Episode Russ. Is Episode 103 missing? The colour of that water is amazing. Glad you are on the move .Maybe it's just the camera angle but does your dingy block your view for'd?
Thanks, Andrew. It's beautiful down here...the water is "swimming pool clean"...you can be in 25 feet of water and see the bottom clearly. The dinghy absolutely blocks my view. I even have a set of davits, but their design does not allow me to raise it high enough to clear the waves (unless it is completely flat).
Russ, you got to stop bitching 😴Remember that you are living the life. Focus on the good things that a life at sea offers. Your travels are interesting and fun to watch. Let’s see more action shots with narration and less selfie shots with depressing monologue.
Once again YOU prove nicely that one does not have to cross oceans to have self satisfying Adventures. Thanks for taking us along on another outing!

I slid two 9x12" disposable foil pans under my engine to catch any drips and allow shaft seal drips to flow under to the bilge.
Okay, mister. Two great ideas in two videos! You're the best!
So sorry to hear about your brother. I’m glad you’re living life to the fullest. Nobody knows what tomorrow holds.
It could be tomorrow for any of us, as you know. We keep on living! And one we'll be meeting up on the water somewhere!
Russ am I correct assuming you were also on the Tautog? I like the straight forward way your channel is shown, keep up the good work.
