We have Starr class suites and trying to decide on excursions. Did you get to experience the foam party? What were your favorite restaurants/dishes to eat?
Nice, you guys will enjoy it. No I didn’t get to experience the foam party. All the restaurant were pretty good. The steak house by far was my favorite but around the pool near lunch time they’d have a grill going and that was the best food in my opinion

The room was dope, my sister and I love it! 100% satisfied the resort staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Not much wild life you may see a few random monkeys but that’s it. Didnt see too many lizards or anything like that

Hey, no we did not get the star package and I was told it wasn’t worth it. The additional pool and “top shelf alcohol” isn’t worth the extra money And no we no issue getting reservations at any of the restaurants
Even tho San Jose is the capital city of Costa Rica outside that metro area is still pretty rural and they only have one line roads from there to Guanacaste and other parts of the country. No real freeway/highway set up
@@sheisshan8834 no you can book tours though other avenues, we just book at the hotel because it was convenient and yes you can book multiple tours. Just be aware the tours are likely all day which takes away from your resort time.

Yes, you have to have travel health insurance upon entering the country. The issue i had was that I didn’t confirm or verify something on the website for the insurance and I had to get out the customs line and go back to verification center in the airport to make sure I the health insurance was valid. The process was easy but at first a little nerve racking because I wasn’t sure what was wrong. Here is the link salud.go.cr

Regarding insurance we bought it through Trawick international but I believe these requirement we had to go through have recently been dropped

Oh also schedule your Covid test at check in, I believe you can do it on your phone it’s pretty simple

Yes near the pool area, there is an small building where you can book all water sport activities
How long was the flight from Md to Costa Rica?
MD as in Maryland? I’m not sure we few from Cleveland to Atl to Costa Rica which was maybe 7 hours in total

we flew into San Jose not knowing how long it would take to drive to the resort

The beach wasnt too bad, it wasnt clear blue water but the water was warm

At the time Costa Rica required all visiter need international health insurance but I believe that requirement has since changed

Why was the ride to the hotel 4 hours tho?
They only have one lane roads so from San Jose to Liberia takes four hours
