I am surprised you didn't notice a key detail in all of this, the extension of the land bridge essentially would make Ukraine Landlocked since they no longer would have access to the Black Sea. This in turn, limits Ukraines Economic and Naval capability in which could be used as a bargaining term the Russians may instill of allowing Ukrainian Trade to pass thru Russia's "Territory" in exchange for their demands to be met.

The whole thing blew up as Germans and Russians built the Nord Stream that bypassed Poland and Ukraine. Those two , who seem just as close today as they were in the 16th century, alerted Uncle Sam of the modern Ribbentrop-Molotov and their economic worries ensuing thereout. US then mingled in Kyiv with the Maidan and propped Europe(Germany) and Russia face to face to decide their faiths. Uncle is very knowledgeable. Finds ways

@@gijbfhjmno get your facts right Russia gave weapons to the Donbas malitia so they can defend them selfs from the Nazi Azov battalion which were and still to this day have been attacking them. Russia pushed for peace and didn't want the Donbas to leave Ukraine and pushed this for 10 years and the Minsk accords prove this as it's all public knowledge and record just as Angela Merkel former German Chancellor stated that the Minsk agreements were just to give them time to arm and train Ukraine to fight Russia that they never wanted peace and that why the guarantors of the Minsk agreements (USA France Germany) did nothing about Ukraine breaching the agreements .
Get your facts right b4 writing silly shit.
Russia went to the aid of the Donbas after satellite photos show 80k troops on the border of the Donbas ready to launch a major attack on the Donbas and the other part was days prior zelensky stating that they are going to join NATO at a UN conference which is would put more weapons on Russia's doorstep.
All Ukraine had to do is stop killing innocent people in the Donbas and declair neutrality aka state they will not join NATO, but the USA and NATO leaders were not happy with that, they wanted to surround Russia and used and destroyed Ukraine to try to get that done, now today all that they have done is killed 100z and thousands of Ukrainian me lost a whole bunch of land demilitarised nearly all of Europe and destroyed there economies thanks to sanctions that only hurt Europe and terrorist attacks such as nordstream bombing. I’m Ukrainian, currently in Kyiv, and I was here when russia started the full-scale war. I am a freelance designer, worked worldwide, traveled, loved my life, and created my future.
My whole family used to live in the south of Ukraine. They all lost their homes. So now, I am paying for their new ones in another city that isn't as devastated as the one they lived in.
Some of my friends have died. Some are at the front lines. I no longer think about my happy future, my travels, or the life I once loved. All I think about now is how to increase my income to support my family, donate to the army, help my friends, and stay strong with them.
And all of this is because of the russians' desire to have more territory. That’s all.
And unlike commentators who wrote about the bombing of Donbas by Ukrainians 👽, I am a real person, at least with a fb and insta page, not a noname or a bot.

I agree with this 100%. This is the mistake West too is doing when its pretending that Russians are against this war. People don't stop defending their motherland, no matter the odds. If you are gonna station nukes at the border, any country's population will rise up. Any. Russia or wherever else. Donbass region was relentlessly bombed for last 8-9 years by its own supposed govt. but those people still continued to fight.
Similarly, North Ukraine, the Non Russian ethnic Ukraine, will continue to fight if Russia tries to take it, and that's the reason, Russia is not doing it.
Ukraine as we knew it before Feb of this year is gone, just like Crimea. West can cry foul all it wants, but I think it's time they move their focus back to bombing Syria, Libya and other such smaller countries. They are repeating Hitler's mistake. You are 100% correct. Many people don't actually realize this, but the battle at Hostomel was the single most important battle of the entire war (thus far). There's a very good reason why it was Russia's first military target - capturing it would have allowed Russian supplies to be flown in by air almost right next to the capital, making a swift victory at Kyiv extremely feasible. Seriously, if Russia managed to capture Hostomel, everything could have been over in an instant.

I think you are saying wrong when referring that Ukrainian eastern regions are packed with separatists and that's what helped Putin to occupy these regions - it's alone not a very minor factor and they're in tiny minority on eastern Ukraine - Russia put their own soldiers there back in 2014 to eastern territory of Ukraine - and that what was the MAIN factor of successful occupation - I think that majority of people in eastern Ukraine DID not sympathize to and wanted to be with Russia, rather then they were politically inert and pictured russia as a friendly country for Ukraine - they did not expect that will ever happen (again - I am referring to the particularly 2014 events.) I am from Donetsk oblast myself and left it in 2014 - but I remember that most of the people in my town Vuhledar DID NOT wanted to be part of Russia and supported Ukraine.
Please fix it in your new episode or make some remarks in it. In a way you commented that, it seems that most of people in eastern Ukriane was waiting and that what make it easy for Russia to occupy it. IT'S NOT SO!

Are you joking? He never even covered the real reasons for this war.
The real reason this war is being fought is because A) the US needed to get rid of a serious competitor in the EU and Germany, which it successfully has. The amount of businesses moving from Germany to the US is 50% OR MORE!, Germany will never recover. There is a new gas pipeline going to poland from norway to replace nord stream to make POLAND the defacto power in europe (it literally has a bigger military than germany) and poland WILL take part of ukraine for "self defense" reasons against "russian aggression". B) To blame all of the west's economic failures on some "evil person", aka shifting blame to cover up for biden's failures and C) To weaken the country with the LARGEST natural resources in the world so that they would be dependent on china, making chineese global goods cheaper for a much poorer USA. This war is a set up, and anyone who actually thinks putin is running anything is just being obvlivious. Heck, RED WHITE AND BLUE people, its a SYMBOL, russia, UK, USA, all friends :) just look at history, they were really good friends. Who wins the ground war doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things. Who is winning? MURICA, cause we steel and bomb everyone :) directly or indirectly.

On May 2, nationalists burned people in Odessa. Kyiv, June 2 launched an airstrike on Lugansk. An air strike was also carried out on Stanytsia-Luganskaya.
Since 2014, the nationalists Azov and Tornado have been torturing and killing all those who disagree. People who did not agree with their power and expressed support for Russia disappeared forever. The new government of Ukraine since 2014 has been killing all those who disagree.

One "tiny" correction re Donbas region: in 2014, those were not Ukrainians who started the war, it was the same ru army disguised as locals. Ofc there was some (probably small) percentage of actually local people who joined them, but it was started by Russia from the beginning. The sheer amount of guns and military vehicles those "locals" had would quickly prove ru trail in it. There are even few people admitting to lead that invasion (eg Igor Girkin, official part of ru military and FSB/FSS). So yeah, not locals, but ru army pretending to be locals, and Russia pumping tons of guns and vehicles into the region. It's not the first time Russia is doing it, but hopefully the last.

This is complete nonsense, in fact, the Ukrainian authorities are not Nazi, but they love money very much and because of this, the authorities are ready to spit on their country and the people of this country. I will say about Nazism, there is too much of it in Ukraine, even if not among the people, but there is a lot of it among the army, and again a lot. @negroznyy3718 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Hmm guys ... If there are real democrats here, those who want to get to the bottom of all the different sides of this problem, then take a few minutes to read my comment)
Good. The Soviet Union collapsed due to a multilateral crisis. But who among you knows that about a year before the collapse of the Union, a referendum was held on the preservation of the USSR, then 76% of the population voted for the preservation of the country (the Baltic countries did not participate in the referendum). Not as a communist system, but as a large state that is strongly connected within itself. Many Russian people lived in the Union, within the union republics, and as a result of the collapse, they almost simultaneously ended up in different states. This is exactly what Putin was talking about as the greatest geopolitical catastrophe. Immediately after the collapse, the United States "attached" to Ukraine. The market of Ukraine, as well as the former countries of the USSR, has become a market for everything and everyone for the European Union and the United States. Nobody cared about the enterprises and factories of the collapsed country. And thanks to the diligence of Western partners who actively lobbied for their products, the former famous factories of the USSR were no longer needed. Millions of people were left essentially without work. Until 2013, the economy of Ukraine received the lion's income from trade and supplies to Russia due to the close connection since the days of the USSR. Well, Ukraine wanted to join the European Union - no problem! Let's just settle some issues, there were serious "holes" in the contract, because of which the flow of European products could uncontrollably rush further to the east, in general, it was just necessary to finalize the document. For this, the date of signing the association agreement was postponed. And then radical forces came into play. Moreover, such forces with which the Soviet Union fought in the Great Patriotic War - Nazism and Fascism (which is why most of the Russian people support the Special Military Operation). They removed President Yanukovych. This shift did not please the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk. Kyiv sent troops to pacify them, but the inhabitants of the south-east of Ukraine perceived this as aggression. The Kremlin realized that Ukraine would soon blaze, plus, realizing that an absolutely pro-Western government could easily allow the NATO fleet to Sevastopol (which is unacceptable from the point of view of a Russian person!, It's like if the Chinese fleet began to "nest" in Canada), decided organize a referendum in which the pro-Russian population of the peninsula voted for joining Russia. Then there were the Minsk talks, the Normandy format, the Paris one... All to no avail. There was fierce resistance from both sides. The Kremlin is persistently promoting its position - do not interfere (the West) in your own business. We will not allow the lands of the former Russian Empire to be trampled under the enemy's boot. Kyiv began to prepare a plan for the complete liberation of Ukraine from pro-Russian forces, including the return of control over Crimea. On February 17, a major artillery preparation began. Kyiv has produced more ammunition than ever since February 24. Seeing this development of events, Russia gave the green light to the evacuation of women and children to Russia. They began to send signals to Kyiv with an urgent request - to cease fire, this did not produce results. Then the implementation of the prepared contingency plan began. They pulled up the troops that had recently been at different exercises, from there the symbols on the machines (Z, V, O, which translates as the Western grouping - from the Belarusian exercises, the eastern one - from the exercises near Astrakhan or somewhere there, and the brave group). Since the Donbass had a large grouping, and even in the center of the country there were a sufficient number of troops so that the entire ormada of Kyiv was not concentrated in one place and there was an entry of Russian troops from the north - to Kyiv, in order to pull them away from the Donbass front. Russia did not have the primary goal of taking Kyiv, it was not realistic to do this with a small group, although there was a hope that there would be pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, in Kyiv, but the Kremlin’s calculations for this scenario turned out to be wrong. The Kyiv grouping of Russian troops essentially performed one task - to keep Ukrainian troops from sending them to Donbass. When the provision of Russian troops near Kyiv began to experience problems, plus the desire of the Kremlin to negotiate with Ukraine in Istanbul, Russia decided to withdraw from Kyiv. At the moment, the eyes of both the United States and Ukraine and Russia are riveted to Kherson. There will be that "Battle of Stalingrad". - "There is no land for us beyond the Dnieper" - if I can paraphrase it like that ...

Having ability of talking directly to local people from both lands, I am more of insider rather than observer here. Here just a few insights that no online research can give:
I've been to all the cities mentioned in the video, and know dozens of ukrainians.
Most of them have relatives in Russia and now are separated or stopped talking to each other in disagreement.
No one brings it, especially in western world. The opposite, they laugh about our "brotherhood" références, which is more than a pathetic métaphore for a regular Ivan.

Can we have a video about the war profiteering that is happening both in the west and in Ukraine. Because the way the West has quickly just thrown money and weapons at Ukraine, without much thought or caution has led to a lot of people making a lot of money from this. And since this hurts the poorest people in these countries, this is an important thing to cover and not just cover up with propaganda “give everything you (not the rich obviously) have to destroy Russia”

That's not exactly the case. Yes, we have some issues with corruption, but we are doing our best to watch and control politicians' hands. Believe me, anybody who will be caught stealing sufficiently, would be exterminated by the masses and ordinary military.

this would have been avoided if NATO sticked to the agreement made in the 90's.

My parents are under occupation. The "referendum" was a sham. Very few people (mostly old people who lived in the Soviet Union) came to vote. That's why they decided to go from house to house and forced people to vote. Forms without seals and signatures, people were told what to indicate (yes, there was no secrecy of voting) and they did not enter every house. There is one mathematician, he noticed that during the coverage of the intermediate (during the counting) results of the vote, the number of votes against was constantly changing, as a result, down.

3:20 the coup sparked the civil war in Donbass, as well as lead to the Crimea returning back to Russia. You're wrong on the cause and effect.
