But also, because much what the video creator said about Navalny was just assumed and wasn't correct. He wasn't for economic freedom, but for the State being able to go against companies, also succesful ones. Currently, oligarchs restrict such free development already. However, corruption exists within the oligarchy, which developed under Soviet rule, because the State ruled similar to Nawalny's wish. The Western sanctions done against Russia backed those oligarchs within Russia, so supporting sanctions like Nawalny and being against corruption doesn't fit. In his earlier days Putin wanted to abolish those structures, too and now restored them. It's not because of a fear, that oligarchs might have assassins or the paid Army fights in Ukraine, but that the country falls apart, if they are removed without proper owners. That's again the problem with the sanctions, because foreign owner's influence through (partial) say and pushing for efficiency is reduced. And competition, which doesn't cheat, has been erased through the sanctions. That's why the corrupted high gas and oil prices also aid the Russian Army and also finance the corrupt system on expense of Western buyers, creating inflation. Good job Biden. The regular Russian doesn't have anything from it, only the oligarch's buddies. That's why Nawalny was so heavily a nationalist, which is just another branch Putin manages at the top state level besides the oligarchs. Nawalnys enemy wasn't Putin, but the international oligarchs. However, he didn't create a proper solution besides populism and was more like a televised pseudo-opposition. Falsely proving that free speech and individualism is protected in Russia. But he has shown how shitty Russia is in case anyone hasn't known that.

@@ghostendgame a lot of places are leaning towards authoritarianism to be fair, because leaders these days hide under the guise of ultra nationalism while using the method of pseudo-populism, i.e. promising they'll fight the "elite" and end "corruption", but only end up worsening the situation and coming short on all of their pledges.
It's happening in Brazil, Spain, Austria, the UK, Australia, the Philippines, etc. I have no idea why in 2016, some Americans thought voting for a billionaire New Yorker who bankrupted his casinos and had an affair with a porn star, was somehow going to make America great again. He's committed so many crimes whether it be pardoning Blackwater war criminals, tax-avoidance, hate-speech, sexual assault, inciting an insurrection. The justice system is a joke in the US; that man needs a life sentence at least, he's too much and never enough.
The real criminals who deserve to be locked up should be the politicians who prioritized their economies over human lives when the virus first appeared, and they selfishly and illogically chose to delay lock-downs, indirectly causing more deaths and hence a longer lock-down in the future, therefore more economic damage.
But they'll get away with it. They almost always do.

The reason Navalny was arrested upon his return to Russia is because he was serving that suspended prison sentence for embezzlement charges made by French cosmetics company, Yves Rocher. And the European Court of Human Rights, which ruled that Navalny and his brother's trial wasn't fair also dismissed Navalny's appeal that the charges were politically motivated.
While Navalny was in Germany receiving treatment, Russia's Penitentiary Service didn't require Navalny to adhere to their probation term which required him to check-in twice a month. But after he was discharged from the German hospital, and after the hospital published a report saying Navalny was fully recovered, Russia's Penitentiary Service told Navalny that he had to return to Russia and check-in again, otherwise he would be arrested upon his return to Russia and might have his suspended sentence turned into a prison sentence. Navalny chose to ignore the warning and stayed out of Russia a week or so beyond the date he was required to return. So, as he had been told would happen, he was arrested. And in his sentencing hearing, the German hospital's report of Navalny's full recovery was cited as evidence against Navalny's claim he couldn't have returned sooner.
Do you know what happens in the US when you skip bail and violate the terms of a suspended sentence? You're arrested and your suspended sentence is changed into a prison sentence. And as Navalny is a high-profile person, any exception made for him (and I don't know why he'd get an exception in this case) would affect Russia's prison authority's ability to apply their rules to others.
The depiction of Navalny as a champion of Russians is a Western propaganda construct. following his poisoning, Levada Centre reports his approval rating soared to 20%, while his disapproval rating also soared to 50%.

      itongadol.com/noticias/73171-moscow-mayor-hopeful-raises-jewish-fears-with-anti-semitic-remarks
And here's an undercover video recently released showing Navalny's top aide requesting $20 million in funding from a UK intel officer.

You forgot to mention that this emergency unit at the Omsk airport pretty much saved Alexey's life by injecting a dose of a basic antitoxin right away. It was a standard protocol thing to do which, as Alexey himself admitted later, saved his life. Have they missed out this step, his condition might have been much worse. The same goes to the pilots who decided to reroute to Omsk as per the standard procedure. By doing this, they unintentionally meddled in with the murderers' initial plan: that Navalny dies quietly on the plane with no medical help. Basically, those two decisions saved his life.

Navalny is a proud, far-right, anti-immigrant nationalist who is extremely xenophobic and has made racist comments, including celebrating the Holocaust by calling for a toast to it at an event in Moscow. He has also compared immigrants to tooth-rot and claimed they need to be deported to save Russia. He has also compared Muslims to cockroaches that need exterminating by shooting them.
th-cam.com/video/DRP37r0Faao/w-d-xo.html "Become a nationalist, deport immigrants!"
Navalny's 'Putin's palace' claim has already fallen apart as the owner of the property has come forward (since over a week ago) and said they're developing it into a hotel that will open in 12 - 18 months. Other Russian journalists have visited and toured the property and filmed all the rooms on the inside, and they're all bare concrete, without any of the lavish decorations Navalny claimed there to be.
Following Navalny's poisoning and his 'Putin's palace' video, Navalny's trust-rating in Russia is at 5%, while Putin's latest approval rating is standing at 64% - according to US-funded Levada Centre (which is branded a foreign agent in Russia because it is US-funded).
      twitter.com/Malinka1102/status/1357415295800004611
Navalny also says that to live in Russia a person must become a "true Russian", whatever that means. And he says that Crimea is rightfully a part of Russia and he wouldn't give it back if he were Russia's president - which is appropriate, but this view again shows that he is merely used as a convenient tool of the West, while he doesn't share the West's goals other than the goal of deposing Putin.
In short, the video is capitalizing on discredited conspiracy theories. Navalny's image as a champion of the people is entirely a Western propaganda construct. Navalny isn't feared by Russia's government. His sentencing is a result of a French cosmetics company accusing Navalny and his brother of embezzling $400,000 from the company. Beware of propaganda mate. You mean to tell me Putin wanted Navalny dead but his government allowed him to be flown out to Berlin despite the fact that he was facing criminal charges in Russia? Does that make any sense? This is the Skripal script all over again. If Navalny was poisoned, it was not by Putin but rather people that want it to be pinned on Putin.
Let us briefly revisit the Sergei Skripal poisoning. In 2018, the west accused Putin of poisoning former Russian spy, Sergei Skripal. Here is the part they left out. Sergei Skripal was indeed a Russian spy in the early 2000s. In 2004, he was arrested while entering Russia because the FSB had intel that he was a double agent working for the British. He was fully debriefed, arraigned in court and was charged with high treason and thrown in Prison in Russia. He stayed in prison from 2004 until 2010, when Russia and the UK decided to do a spy swap. Russia gave them Skripal, the UK gave Russia one of their spies. Upon arrival in the UK, Skripal was debriefed by UK intelligence and after having been in a Russian prison for 6 years, it was deemed there was no threat to his life and so there was no need for him to have to change his identity, classify his location etc. There simply was no threat to him or his family, most of which still lives in Russia.
Fast forward to 2018, months before Russia is to host the biggest sporting event in the world, the football world cup, and all of a sudden we hear that Putin had Skripal poisoned. Now, why would Putin do that right before the world cup that he has spent 4 years preparing to host? Why would he want all that bad press?
You would think that after having spent 6 years in a Russian prison, if Putin wanted Skripal killed, he would have done it then right? Not according to western intelligence and their mouthpieces in the media. So Putin waited from 2004 to 2018 to kill Skripal, why? To get back at him? Most of his family lives in Russia, why not punish them? Or is the western media making the case that Putin is reasonable? I thought he was an absolute monster this guy. And how sloppy was that hit job? Are Putin's people that sloppy?
Now, they accuse Putin of trying to have Navalny poisoned. Do you see the pattern here? Alexei Navalny is facing criminal charges in Russia. He should not even be allowed out of the country but somehow Putin allowed him out of the country to get treatment.
Alexei Navalny is today's Boris Nemtsov who if you remember, the media was telling us that he was Putin's biggest opposition. He too held rallies and protests but what they never told you is that he only enjoyed 3% support among Russians. Most Russians had not even heard of the guy. At the time Putin had an approval rating of almost 80% among Russian citizens, you know, the people that actually live in Russia and feel the effects of Putin's policies. In 2015, Boris Nemtsov was shot and killed at a location near the Kremlin, again, everyone in the western press said "Putin is silencing his opposition" with absolutely ZERO context.
Ask yourselves something. Who benefits from all this? Is it Putin? Nope. These accusations paint him a bad light on the global stage. They do nothing for his image. So who benefits?
Understand something, Putin enjoys one of the highest approval ratings among any democratically elected presidents in the world. In the Caucuses i.e. the region where Khabib Nurmagomedov is from for all you MMA guys, Putin enjoys almost 100% support. Do you know why that is? Read Russian history. When Putin promised to grow the GDP to double in the year 2000, he was laughed at, literally. The political class in Russia broke out in laughter during his speech. Russia had just defaulted on their debt, there was civil war still in the Caucuses. Putin brought back order and dignity to the Russian people. 2000 is not so long ago. People still remember. This is why he is so beloved and that was a problem for the west. They thought they had crushed Russia. Putin is a threat to the globalist elite.

th-cam.com/video/DRP37r0Faao/w-d-xo.html "Become a nationalist, deport immigrants!"
The French company, Yves Rocher, has said they stand by the charges and Russia's sentencing process.

Johnny just forgot to take pills. In the real residence of any president, no one will be able to record video and you will not find information on the Internet. And why does one president need so many large residences, how will he physically use them all? Navalny has already done a similar fake investigation in 2017, but without participation of a western film campaign Blackforest Studios.
Navalny's support with money and valuable information was disclosed back in 2012, when the FSB shot a meeting between FBK director Vladimir Ashurkin and British MI6 agent James William Thomas Ford, where they discussed how to change the government in Russia and what benefits British banks could get from this. Charite said nothing about nerve poison or Novichok, no need to lie. The Charite statement is on their official website, anyone can check it. And not a word about Maria Pevchikh from London, who accompanied Navalny all the time and no one knew about her until the last fall, she also appeared in FBK around the time when a British agent was exposed in Russia. She also flew without permission with Navalny on an airplane and took his supposedly poisoned things, while the pilots of the plane did not know that they could carry dangerous cargo and no one checked the pilots after the flight.
Petr Verzilov was also treated in the Charite 2018, there was also a lot of noise that Putin poisoned him, but then it turned out that it was Peter's illness and this was also written on the Charite website, but none of the journalists have apologized to this day.

In ambulance his body shown negative reaction on medicine which is used in way bigger dosage as antidote, which would never happen if he actually would be poisoned. Blood tests have shown that he was drinking alcohol day before, ate nothing, drunk only tee with sugar and has problems with kidney. Such combination is result that he felt sick.

@@bigman-wk4eb And what is told in this report? That wasn't a proper investigation, which only shows that "highly likely" there was "Novichok". That can be made up. Why German police hasn't started investigation for murder atemption. Why they do not provide proofs to Russia? There are so many questions "Why they haven't done anything factually, if that was a crime?", which makes me to think that was only a show for media. But there are real facts. He had alcohol in his blood - that has shown his blood test, next day after drinking he ate nothing - only drunk tea with sugar. That is nothing illegal, young healthy body would easily be able to handle it. But for someone Navalniy's age specially if there are some sickness that can be lethal. Simple human physiology. Here comes other questions. "Why if FSB actually wanted to kill him, they haven't checked his blood for footprints of "Novichok" before sending him to Germany?" "Why did they actually allowed to a man, who has two suspended sentences abroad?". They could easily and lawfull don't allow that and kill him, if they really wanted that. "Why does actually Navalniy has two suspended sentences?" that is special law exception, done only for him. That makes me to think, that FSB actually didn't know what to search. Formula of "Novichok" is known and can be made in any country. More than that not only "Novichok" can be cholinesterase inhibitor, but simple phosphorus organic pesticides, which can be easily bought by anyone. And they will show same footprint as "Novichok". So anybody was able to poison Navalniy. They haven't worked out that versions so this can't be seen as proper investigation. Which makes me to think that was a political order for exactly that result. More than that "Novichok" is highly poisonous, toxic and dangerous poison. Whole airport and plane should be evacuated and checked. But no one expect Navalniy had symptoms of poisoning. So that makes me think that "Novichok" was not involved.
You see how I instantly was claimed as kremlinbot by Navalniy cult couse I have my own opinion about situation. Without proofs and facts, couse I am telling something against their agenda.
Something about Navalniy. He is supported only by youth, who want to show protest, but have no actual understanding of politics. They even don't know that in 2010 Navalniy was organizing so called "Russian Marches", which were protests of different Russian nationalists, ultra-nationalist and national-bolshewiks. You can find such videos in youtube. He was kicked from Liberal party for his xenophobic views. His gen-z supporters don't even know this. For that thinking part of Russian society is against him. He is not a threat to Putin. He is a threat to society. You can oppose me and tell that he could change his views, but I answer you with his words which he told during "Spiegel" interview: "My political views has not changed since I entered politics". So he is no more open natinalist, couse it is harmful for his political image, but he still believes that.

@Greg Peterson oh, let me guess, like the 1917 October Rev? Russians have no stomach or patience for any more Marxism/Bolshevism, etc. You are not the majority in Russia by any stretch. Shameful the whole lot of you.
Was it better to have had Russia divided up by the oligarchs, by the west, UK/USA, as was the trajectory in the 1990's, until VV Putin was tagged to put a stop to the bleeding? Russia has no appetite for more Marxism or being broken up so to benefit the rulers of USA/UK, Germany, et al. Are people so naive or ignorant of history, of the threats which Russia faces down everyday from US/UK/NATO?
The sheer ungodly restraint that Putin, Russia's nat'l security state, has shown in the face of naked aggression by NATO since the fall of USSR. We are fortunate to have VV Putin and not another Khruschev or Stalin, Trotsky! Was a chance for peace following the collapse, but the MIC and neocons, neo-bolsheviks, neo-libs had other plans. Trillions to still be made. Must keep humanity divided, in constant struggle. Some people don't seem to care much for Russia nor her people, culture. Not least any understanding of history.
Pointless to argue with these shameless immoral people here. Putin has his flaws, but he has helped restore Russia and kept it from being broken up (the West's wet dream, oligarchs/ideologues, still bitter about being exiled, the Bolsheviks). That matters for people and the right people. The productive members of Russian society. Those who have endured untold hardships under Communism/Marxism. Stupid youth.
Thank God Russia has the leadership and protection it enjoys under Putin, Shoiygu, Lavrov, et al. The West has no counterparts. This isn't Russia's fault the West has become entirely degenerate, immoral, decadent, etc. Isn't Russia's fault they have chosen not to become prey to the Western oligarchs, bankers, neo-bolsheviks, neo-nazis (such as in Ukraine, Pravy Sektor). No shame.

It’s easy to say that Putin is the only hope for the nation, but if so, let us choose instead of eliminating candidates (not always physically, of course) for the last 25 years. Putin has never won a fair election because there hasn’t been one. The system is corrupted and it’s absolutely ridiculous to deny that.

Navalny's support with money and valuable information was disclosed back in 2012, when the FSB shot a meeting between FBK director Vladimir Ashurkin and British MI6 agent James William Thomas Ford, where they discussed how to change the government in Russia and what benefits British banks could get from this.
