How to make light & Crispy Fried Fish | Batter for Fish n Chips Recipe | Filmed on Casey's Birthday

in this video we made the most light and flaky crispy battered fish. After 7 yrs of working in a fish n chip shop I picked up a few things on how to make wonderful fish n chips.
This was filmed on Casey's Birthday. Below is the link to my Friend's page Andrew's Simple Cooking.
The batter
1 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of garlic power
salt to taste
1/4 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
add cold water to make like a thick pancake batter with a table spoon of vinegar
cup of flour mix with some cornstarch like 1/4 cup for dredging fish
dredge fish in flour mixture
then batter the fish with the batter mixture
then back in flour mixture
fry fish until done 145 F is cooked - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

PLUS please subscribe I have an updated video on this recipe coming out soon along with a wonderful tartar sauce recipe. notes on this recipe are salt please to your taste, I used a tablespoon of vinegar and you want to make the batter like thick pancake batter. about maybe 3/4 cup of water maybe a bit less maybe a bit more depending on your flour some people may have a bit more or less than one cup of flour in there batter. Ahh I love fish and chips! I usually add sparkling water to get that light crispiness but I'm going to try your way next time. The vinegar should also add some great flavor! 😍

I never listen to those young people who say things like, “oh I just saw this recipe and I thought we’d try it out”. What? You never even gave it a run before you thought you’d make a video on it?
