Looks GREAT👍 I noticed one think, I think you should brace the place where the front shocks attach, I know there is brace, but it seemed like it was only to half of the lengh of the way to attachment point of the shock, as they will push up, the tube may bend because it will be pushed from angle. Or if you have brace here from inside to triagulate it to make it stronger, if have not seen it, then excuse me that I havent noticed.
You’re definitely correct. I had previously cut that section out because it was in the way of other things. I haven’t finished the frame properly…. I just wanted to test the steering and brakes out. Thanks for your input 🙏. That’ll definitely be corrected soon.
I wouldn’t even know how to answer that haha… I just adapted the steering rack to the existing hubs..then roughed in the alignment which I need to sort out. It’s still in a “roughed in” stage… I’ve ordered a new arcdroid plasma cnc. That should be in my next video. I hope to clean up allot of the flaws with this build. Biggest issue is the fact that the rear axle doesn’t have a differential… makes turning stupidly hard if traction is high… anyways, more to come soon! Thanks again for your comment bro. I really appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏
@@Fab-Life444 Maybe get some slippier back tyres on to give you that LSD feel. Look up ackerman angle, I just found out about it recently and sometimes it can help with getting the rear end to do what you want. Seems crucial for drift , not sure about other types of setups. Also wondering how the wheelbase is sitting, are the front wheels much further apart than the rear? I know that can help with stability
@@jizmtek9820 everything is equal widths on this. Reason for this is because I wanted a car like look… all looking balanced. I’ll definitely look into the steering system you’re talking about. I’m going to build proper suspension for it soon which will make allot of difference to the handling. It’s just too rigid at the moment… definitely a work in progress hahaha
Those wheels look a lot better suited for that size of car.
Yeah the first set were way too wide. Made it look like a monster truck!. I did like the first look but it wasn’t practical at all. 🤣
15:36 - Hope you will adjust the steering as one wheel is turned like 90* while the other is almost straight lol
Yeah I will definitely do that. It’s really roughed in at the moment and after watching back the video clip… I did see it turn harder than the other 🤣

Looking good mate! Looks like its sitting much happier now. What sort of steering geometry you going for, ackerman steering angle or something else?
